About

Rob McClure is an American actor and singer best known for his roles in musical theater. He won a Theatre World Award and was nominated for the 2013 Tony Award for Best Actor in a Musical for his performance in the title role of the musical Chaplin. He has also starred in Broadway productions of Honeymoon in Vegas, Beetlejuice, Something Rotten!, and Noises Off. In 2021, he originated the lead role of Daniel Hillard in Mrs. Doubtfire.

McClure was born in New Milford, New Jersey, and began performing at a young age. He appeared in several local productions before making his Broadway debut in 2002 as an understudy in I'm Not Rappaport. He went on to play several roles in Avenue Q, both on Broadway and on the show's national tour.
