[0:00] Jesse McAnally: Cheese for eternity, loyalty, honesty, stick together through thick and thin. Friends forever, we'll cheese together. We're on top cause we play to win.

[0:13] Jesse McAnally: Um, hello, I'm Jesse- Cheese con, cheese con. Cheese con, go. Hello, I'm Jesse McAnally. And I'm Andrew DeWolf. And I'm Liz Esten.

[0:33] Jesse McAnally: And welcome to the Cheese Wheel, a hyper-fixation podcast where our topics are gambled on a great big wheel. How are we doing today, guys?

[0:41] Andrew DeWolf: Yeah, I'm just going through some stuff with, uh, some ninjas and cocaine. You can't use that word, that's their word. And, um, Andrew's got a band, I hear?

[0:51] Liz Esten: Oh yeah, Dragon Sound? We're huge in the fighting crime industry. Also, also, I think I know who my dad is, but also I don't know who my dad is.

[1:05] Jesse McAnally: I thought, I thought we were all orphans.

[1:15] Liz Esten: Yeah, I thought we were orphans. We were all orphans. No, no. Yes, you didn't tell me that you had a dad.

[1:25] Andrew DeWolf: Well, we have to drive you to the airport and hope nothing goes wrong. I need to cry, I need to get all these tears out. I need to tactically give one of the best performances despite not being an actor.

[1:36] Jesse McAnally: Being, by default, the best actor in this movie. In case you haven't picked up or thrown down, this week we are talking about the cult classic film, Miami Connection. Cue the trailer.

[1:41] Liz Esten: Good evening, ladies and gentlemen. We have a special treat for you today. We have a new house band with a new dimension in rock and roll. We have the one, the only, Dragon Sound!

[2:11] Andrew DeWolf: This band is the only family I have. They're all black belts in taekwondo and they're pretty bad. I don't want you to mess it up by going out with a second-rate musician like that John character. They came in here to play goddamn songs for kids!

[2:34] Jesse McAnally: So Miami Connection is a film written by Joseph Diamond and directed by Richard Park and Y.K. Kim based on an idea from Y.K. Kim. Wasn't he originally called Richard Kim, like in the credits? Like, it's weird.

[2:49] Liz Esten: Well, no, it's Richard Park.

[2:51] Andrew DeWolf: No, no, no, you're right. It's Richard Park, but he has a new name. Park Woo Sang is his name.

[2:57] Jesse McAnally: Yes, that's the other name they listed.

[2:58] Andrew DeWolf: Well, I think Richard Park is like his Americanized name that they gave him when he came here, or that he gave himself. I don't know, one or the other.

[3:06] Liz Esten: But I won't even call him really a director. He's like the guy that hits record. The love, the auteur behind this is Y.K. Kim.

[3:14] Jesse McAnally: The film opened in August of 1988 in eight theaters in Greater Orlando and was screened in Daytona Beach and Melbourne, Florida. The film also opened in West Germany. To be in those audiences.

[3:28] Andrew DeWolf: For some reason in West Germany.

[3:30] Liz Esten: For some reason, three locations in Florida and Germany.

[3:35] Jesse McAnally: As time passed, Miami Connection has become an underground cult film. Y.K. Kim said that in a period of several years before 2012, several magazines and television talk shows requested interviews about Miami Connection that Kim ignored most of the requests because it was so painful that everyone hated it on its original release.

[3:54] Andrew DeWolf: I am so this is like a positive, the room where I don't think anyone was a fucking monster making this.

[4:01] Liz Esten: He was just a Taekwondo, a Taekwondo director. That's like, hey, y'all want to be in a movie? Sure.

[4:07] Andrew DeWolf: Unlike the room, which is like a monument of suffering, I think everyone probably had a fucking blast.

[4:14] Liz Esten: Oh, yeah, everyone's having fun.

[4:16] Andrew DeWolf: They're playing their fake guitar and their fake piano and they're having the time of their life.

[4:21] Jesse McAnally: I think people wanted to do this and they were like having a really good time, whereas the room is like pain.

[4:26] Liz Esten: It's Tommy Wiseau's ego and then just inflicting suffering on everyone around him.

[4:31] Andrew DeWolf: This girl dared to have acne.

[4:33] Jesse McAnally: I'm making a professional movie film.

[4:36] Andrew DeWolf: The plot of Miami Connection is in a world where ninjas dream of being rock stars and rock stars dream of being ninjas.

[4:43] Liz Esten: A martial arts rock band goes up against a band of motorcycle ninjas who have tightened their grip on Florida's narcotics trade.

[4:51] Andrew DeWolf: That is the real summary I found on IMDb.

[4:54] Liz Esten: That doesn't even summarize the movie at all.

[4:56] Andrew DeWolf: I know, right? It sounds wrong. It's not correct.

[5:00] Jesse McAnally: Yo, the fuck was this movie?

[5:05] Liz Esten: I struggle to have anything to say.

[5:08] Andrew DeWolf: Words cannot describe this.

[5:11] Liz Esten: I know based on like things I've said previous, this might seem different.

[5:16] Andrew DeWolf: I'm not a big fan of bad movies.

[5:19] Liz Esten: If I don't love watching so bad, it's good content.

[5:23] Andrew DeWolf: It really is just secondhand embarrassment.

[5:26] Liz Esten: So I feel like a lot of this is lost on me.

[5:28] Andrew DeWolf: So I'm going to kind of just get here.

[5:31] Liz Esten: Here you go, Andrew. Here's the reins of the podcast.

[5:33] Andrew DeWolf: Just going to hand that over to you, my friend. Good luck.

[5:37] Liz Esten: So am I Jess now or am I Andrew now?

[5:43] Andrew DeWolf: I think you're Jess or you're Andrew.

[5:47] Liz Esten: So this is the type of movie where I feel like your first viewing should probably be not sober and with a crowd of people.

[5:58] Andrew DeWolf: Because realistically, this movie is kind of bad.

[6:03] Liz Esten: I wouldn't go so far as to say it's painful to watch because it really isn't.

[6:10] Andrew DeWolf: But it's something where you're going to want to have that commentary between people while you're watching it.

[6:16] Liz Esten: You don't want to silently watch this and soberly think about the themes and the direction and the story.

[6:25] Andrew DeWolf: Because there's not very much to think about or to appreciate there because most of it is bad.

[6:34] Liz Esten: But if you want to riff with people, there's a lot of really funny and strange choices that they make.

[6:43] Andrew DeWolf: And then there's a lot of really good martial arts.

[6:51] Liz Esten: I think the fighting in this is actually good.

[6:54] Andrew DeWolf: The one thing that I think is actually good is that these people actually know how to do taekwondo.

[7:01] Liz Esten: And I think that it shows when they do it.

[7:04] Andrew DeWolf: And they make an effort to do it quite a bit.

[7:08] Liz Esten: Well, that's all they have.

[7:10] Andrew DeWolf: It is all they have.

[7:13] Liz Esten: Should I run through the plot?

[7:15] Andrew DeWolf: There is actually a plot somewhere in Wikipedia, so if you need help...

[7:19] Liz Esten: Well, I've got the plot.

[7:21] Andrew DeWolf: Andrew's seen this more times than he's seen most things.

[7:23] Liz Esten: That's true. I've seen it like twice.

[7:25] Andrew DeWolf: So the movie opens in Miami and there is a gang of ninjas...

[7:34] Liz Esten: That ride motorcycles.

[7:36] Andrew DeWolf: That ride motorcycles that are in Miami and they are getting cocaine.

[7:46] Liz Esten: And they get raided.

[7:48] Andrew DeWolf: Well, I should say, there is a gang of people that have cocaine.

[7:52] Liz Esten: And ninjas show up and try to take it.

[7:56] Andrew DeWolf: It's what actually happens.

[7:59] Liz Esten: And they do. And they try to get money too.

[8:02] Andrew DeWolf: And they don't find the money, but the leader of the ninjas does find the money.

[8:07] Liz Esten: But the guy with the cocaine, I think, gets away.

[8:10] Andrew DeWolf: The whole beginning makes no fucking sense.

[8:12] Liz Esten: It's a little weird.

[8:14] Andrew DeWolf: Characters that don't really come back.

[8:16] Liz Esten: So the leader of the ninjas is like,

[8:19] Andrew DeWolf: well, we need to make sure we get more money or something.

[8:23] Liz Esten: And then it cuts to Orlando.

[8:25] Andrew DeWolf: And in Orlando, there is this other dude,

[8:29] Liz Esten: who is the dude with an earring,

[8:31] Andrew DeWolf: who is one of the lead girl's brothers.

[8:35] Liz Esten: The only lead girl's brother.

[8:37] Andrew DeWolf: The only lead girl's brother.

[8:41] Liz Esten: He is an asshole who is working for this guy.

[8:45] Andrew DeWolf: And the guy in Miami wants to expand his territory

[8:49] Liz Esten: to include Central Florida.

[8:51] Andrew DeWolf: Because, I mean, who wouldn't want to go to Disney World and sell cocaine?

[8:55] Liz Esten: Obviously.

[8:57] Andrew DeWolf: So he's trying to get this guy to dislodge

[9:01] Liz Esten: the one force that's preventing them from taking over Orlando.

[9:05] Andrew DeWolf: Which is, of course, the rock band Dragon Sound.

[9:10] Liz Esten: Who are just far too powerful of taekwondo black belts

[9:15] Andrew DeWolf: to realistically dislodge from this Orlando area.

[9:21] Liz Esten: Now, Dragon Sound, they recently got a new gig at a club.

[9:25] Andrew DeWolf: And the previous band...

[9:27] Liz Esten: What?

[9:29] Andrew DeWolf: He's looking confused.

[9:31] Liz Esten: This is making perfect sense so far, I feel.

[9:33] Andrew DeWolf: Dragon Sound got a new gig at a club,

[9:37] Liz Esten: and they're very happy about that.

[9:39] Andrew DeWolf: They love playing their music.

[9:41] Liz Esten: They're terrible.

[9:43] Andrew DeWolf: They just make the worst fucking music.

[9:45] Liz Esten: But it's great.

[9:47] Andrew DeWolf: And they're playing at a club,

[9:50] Liz Esten: and the previous band that was there,

[9:52] Andrew DeWolf: they're not happy about it.

[9:54] Liz Esten: So they follow them from the club

[9:56] Andrew DeWolf: and try to beat the crap out of them.

[9:58] Liz Esten: But because they are black belts in taekwondo,

[10:01] Andrew DeWolf: they beat the shit out of fucking everybody.

[10:03] Liz Esten: There's like a hundred people,

[10:05] Andrew DeWolf: and they kill all of them or something.

[10:07] Liz Esten: It's crazy.

[10:09] Andrew DeWolf: And this band, they're super upset about it,

[10:11] Liz Esten: so they go to the earring guy.

[10:13] Andrew DeWolf: And the earring guy is like,

[10:15] Liz Esten: he's like,

[10:17] Andrew DeWolf: this fucking band, we gotta get them.

[10:19] Liz Esten: So they team up with the old band.

[10:21] Andrew DeWolf: And I don't think that that actually goes anywhere.

[10:23] Liz Esten: I feel like that does not matter.

[10:25] Andrew DeWolf: But that does happen.

[10:27] Liz Esten: It doesn't go anywhere, yeah.

[10:29] Andrew DeWolf: Yeah, it doesn't go anywhere.

[10:31] Liz Esten: It gets dropped immediately.

[10:33] Andrew DeWolf: Meanwhile...

[10:35] Liz Esten: Meanwhile...

[10:39] Andrew DeWolf: The one guy in Dragon Sound, Jim,

[10:43] Liz Esten: Dragon Sound is a very diverse group.

[10:47] Andrew DeWolf: Of college students in their 40s.

[10:49] Liz Esten: College students!

[10:51] Andrew DeWolf: They're college students in their 40s.

[10:55] Liz Esten: You have YK Kim,

[10:57] Andrew DeWolf: who is a Korean 40-year-old man.

[10:59] Liz Esten: Named Mark.

[11:01] Andrew DeWolf: Who knows very little English,

[11:03] Liz Esten: but it's charming.

[11:05] Andrew DeWolf: There's Jim,

[11:07] Liz Esten: who I think is...

[11:09] Andrew DeWolf: The keyboardist.

[11:11] Liz Esten: Apparently, according to Wikipedia.

[11:13] Andrew DeWolf: There's some other ones

[11:15] Liz Esten: that I don't know the names of.

[11:17] Andrew DeWolf: Jeff and John.

[11:19] Liz Esten: They were thinking of J names.

[11:21] Andrew DeWolf: The girl is actually named Jane,

[11:23] Liz Esten: so you're onto something.

[11:25] Andrew DeWolf: Go, Jim, Jeff, John, Jane.

[11:27] Liz Esten: Jack, Jim, Tom.

[11:29] Andrew DeWolf: Tom.

[11:31] Liz Esten: And Mark.

[11:33] Andrew DeWolf: There's an Irishman.

[11:35] Liz Esten: There's a...

[11:37] Andrew DeWolf: An Italian-American.

[11:39] Liz Esten: There's an Italian-American.

[11:41] Andrew DeWolf: There's a Jewish-American.

[11:43] Liz Esten: And then there's a Black-American.

[11:45] Andrew DeWolf: No, he's a Korean-African-American.

[11:47] Liz Esten: Korean-African-American, pardon me.

[11:49] Andrew DeWolf: I'm so wrong.

[11:51] Liz Esten: There's someone who's an Israeli-American?

[11:53] Andrew DeWolf: Yes.

[11:55] Liz Esten: The Korean-African-American.

[11:57] Andrew DeWolf: They're trying to find their dad.

[11:59] Liz Esten: But I thought they were all orphans.

[12:01] Andrew DeWolf: Well,

[12:03] Liz Esten: they did think they were all orphans.

[12:05] Andrew DeWolf: But apparently, orphans actually do have parents.

[12:07] Liz Esten: Did you know this?

[12:09] Andrew DeWolf: I thought orphans just came to be.

[12:11] Liz Esten: I also thought that.

[12:13] Andrew DeWolf: And honestly, I think most people do think that.

[12:16] Andrew DeWolf: Apparently, some orphans have parents, and this orphan seems to have a father, and they're trying to find him, and they don't right away, and he's very sad about that. But we gotta go back, we gotta do other stuff. Really, most of the rest of the middle of the movie is them just fucking around on the beach, and fucking around at the club, and just stupid shit happens that doesn't fucking matter. And then you finally get to the end, where they find the dad, and they're on their way to get him, but then the ninjas attack, and they violently murder all of them. Like, in the most horrifically violent scene you'll ever watch, where they just grab swords and absolutely butcher this entire gang of ninjas.

And then they go and they find the guy's dad, and then at the end it says that we can only achieve peace through no violence. I have the exact quote, I have it. Please read the exact quote, it's very important. Only through the elimination of violence can we achieve world peace. Okay, that's the whole movie. Which is funny, because we just saw them slaughter a bunch of ninjas with swords, so. Oh, and Earring Guy is Jane's brother, but I don't think that that matters. Not really, because he might be in love with her, it's hard to tell. He's definitely very territorial over her. She's not allowed to have friends. No, he sees her boyfriend kissing her, he's like, you can't kiss my sister. It's like, then who do you want to kiss your sister, you?

Maybe. It's weird. It's very strange. He doesn't like Dragon Sound, though, so maybe he just doesn't want her kissing Dragon Sound members. But she's in Dragon Sound. She's in Dragon Sound, so. I don't really, I don't, I don't. So it's confusing.

[14:21] Jesse McAnally: Yeah, I don't love bad movies. Andrew, you did a fairly reasonable job summing that up. The experience of watching this is very different than, you know, you're going to giggle at the stuff. Honestly, as you said, Andrew, the kung fu fighting or the taekwondo is impressive. It is edited in a way that it's almost impossible to follow. You can tell that they know what they're doing, though, like when they show like slow motion shots of the kicks and stuff, it's like, I mean, that's athletic. They're like actually doing like a real thing. They're like, OK. Although there is some funny stuff like the one part where they're like play fighting almost and he like pretends to kick the guy in the face like five times.

I always laugh at that. I hate to distract from the movie, but in the time that Andrew's describing the plot of the film, I have dove into the world of Y.K. Kim and how he represents himself on the Internet. So Y.K. Kim is the star and co-director and baseline auteur. He's the Tommy Wiseau of this. If we're comparing to The Room, although I think that's almost an unfair comparison, though, because I think Y.K. Kim, he comes across a lot more wholesome than Tommy does. I don't know. Well, like his Instagram is chaos. Like it is just it's all about his taekwondo classes. But then it's like one video for like five hundred posts. I love it. Well, I mean, the man has an actual business and he's like nearly 80 years old.

[15:56] Andrew DeWolf: Yeah, he's 77 years old. He doesn't know how to Instagram.

[16:00] Jesse McAnally: He should know an Instagram.

[16:05] Andrew DeWolf: Oh, someone else is running this account. Probably there's also there is a mention of Miami Connection, but I don't think he'll ever post about it.

[16:10] Jesse McAnally: No, that's a lie. On his website, he has an entire section about Miami Connection, but we'll get there. Hold on. So on his website, he has photos of himself. And, you know, sometimes you have to offer press photos for speaking engagements. Let's look at those, if we don't mind. So we got this one. Oh, I like this one. But hold up. How do we do this? Oh, my God. What you're looking at, if you don't mind, he has a slideshow of the exact same pose over and over again, where he is smiling, holding a microphone and fist pumping slightly up into the air with the other hand. You see exactly the same. And it's not like one or two. It's like a bunch. For a second, I thought he just photoshopped the same head onto a different like corporate stock image bodies is a different smile every time. If you look at it, it's slightly different. Just it's like uncannily different.

[17:12] Andrew DeWolf: Do you think he did a photo shoot and did all of these and like just changed outfits? Or do you think this is like different dates, different times, like he's just doing the same?

[17:22] Jesse McAnally: I think it was. I think he went to work in all these different outfits. And before the day ended, he had his picture taken for his website over like a one month period. I think. Yes, but this is like I love this guy. I really want him to to be good. I think he is good. I mean, I think he is a success, maybe not in this movie. No, but I think he has a very successful business doing Taekwondo and speaking. And he's very good at Taekwondo. And his website has an entire section lovingly dedicated to Miami Connection and all the stuff he was involved with behind the scenes, photos and all that. I love this one of them around the original edit Motorola like. Oh, it's so cute. I just love like in this, he says, I felt bad because I knew I'd never have like a really great movie, but I promised everyone that they'd be able to see this film in a theater.

And that was what drove him to getting it finished. And apparently they took it to hundreds of distributors and everyone said your film is garbage. And he really was sad about it. And you know what? I consider this a true happy story. It's like if Tommy Wiseau deserved all the success. Miami Connection as a film, though, not my cup of tea. Even even the film that it's trying to be like, I don't love action films in general. So bad action films aren't going to do much for me. The reason why The Room is such an anomaly and I can enjoy that is because it's trying to be a fucking melodrama. And none of these self-insert kind of wacky movies is trying to tell a romantic story ever. They're just like, I'm such a badass.

[19:10] Andrew DeWolf: To be fair, I don't think that this story is trying to be I'm such a badass, though. This is it's truly about like a team. Like it's not it's not as much a self-insert story as a lot of these are.

[19:22] Jesse McAnally: It's not like a Geteven, which is just the the blonde Garrett. I've watched Red Letter Media, guys. I know my shit.

[19:32] Andrew DeWolf: Welcome to the biggest little movie ever made. Action, suspense, a thrill moment, romance.

[19:39] Jesse McAnally: It's a very funny moment. Get even.

[19:44] Andrew DeWolf: It's the it's a blonde dude in a black tank top and he beats up people and he gets hot chicks and that's the whole movie. But like this is my kid Kim generally just wants to make a movie featuring his Taekwondo class and his buddies and talk about friendship like that's wholesome. Like I get like he doesn't even get like more lines than his like. Honestly, I think he gets less evil brother has more lines than Y.K. Kim like. So it's it's a lot more fair in that way where it's really not just about him wanting to be a movie star. It's more than that.

[20:20] Jesse McAnally: Yeah, it's like that one B movie. It has a fucking Cameron was whatever his last name was in like Cameron Mitchell, Cameron Mitchell, Cameron Mitchell movie or he plays like a drug lord and it's like a team of people tried to like like get to like take revenge for this guy's dead wife who was raped for no reason. It's like the the kill squad. It's called the kill squad. Yeah. And they just kick people for 90 minutes. It's like kind of like that.

[20:47] Liz Esten: Liz, I do have a very specific question for you about this woman.

[20:56] Andrew DeWolf: Yeah, I mean, not because I have other things to say that aren't gendered.

[21:01] Liz Esten: I know, but it wasn't going to be about that. That was a good pivot. My question was, as a woman that is attracted to men, are there any attractive members of Dragon Sound? You can't say Y.K. Kim.

[21:08] Liz Esten: Yeah. Like I was looking at these. Are any of these cute guys?

[21:15] Liz Esten: I just want to say I have more value on this podcast than if men are attractive. I just want to say that out loud. I feel like I'm asked that like four different times that I record podcasts. My only value is, is this man hot? I have the transcripts. Can we make a shirt that says I have the transcripts? I don't like it. It's just me being bullied for trying my best.

[21:43] Andrew DeWolf: Back to your question. Is anyone in Dragon Sound attractive? No, they're all in their forties and they're in college and they're not hot. Like they're just the cutest one.

[21:54] Liz Esten: There is the woman.

[21:59] Andrew DeWolf: What about earring guy?

[22:03] Liz Esten: Oh, fuck earring guy. He creeps me out.

[22:07] Andrew DeWolf: I mean, that's fair. Maybe coat guy from like desperate for money. I want his money, but he is making his money through coke, which is not a reliable source. So, you know, drawbacks to hooking up with rich people. High risk, high reward. True. But if he gets arrested, I'm also implicated. But I think the reason why I ask this in the kind of Beatles way of like, oh, my God, John is the hot one and Paul is the cute one. Like, is there one of those for Dragon Sound?

[22:30] Liz Esten: No, they're all none. They're all like one little entity and they don't I don't I can't differentiate them basically, except Mark. Like they're all just kind of one person in my head. Like besides the guy who looking for his dad, because he's he's acting like this is an Oscar winning drama and it's fucking amazing.

[22:45] Andrew DeWolf: Honestly, he was going to be my choice. It makes the movie so good. Without that ridiculous out of fucking nowhere subplot, the ending would be so much less funny.

[22:58] Jesse McAnally: Yeah, I'm sure you've already put the scene in of him in the living room talking the monologue of his dad. But this scene is so good.

[23:02] Andrew DeWolf: Jim, what is this letter? Tell us. Go ahead. Tell us. Why don't you explain to us? Come on. We're your best friends.

[23:10] Liz Esten: Sorry. Hide from this from you guys.

[23:19] Andrew DeWolf: But this looks like your brother.

[23:24] Liz Esten: I didn't know you have a brother.

[23:32] Andrew DeWolf: It's my father.

[23:36] Liz Esten: What? This is your real father?

[23:40] Andrew DeWolf: Yes, it is. Are you sure? I didn't know you had a father. I thought we are all orphans.

[23:59] Andrew DeWolf: My mother was Korean. My father was black American. She gave me this picture when she was real sick. I was only nine years old. They say that they loved each other and they were real loyal. But then when he finished military duty, he left. And we never saw him again. She told me to find him. But I didn't like him because he left us.

[24:33] Andrew DeWolf: But I knew one day, when I grew up, I'd find him. Whether he was dead or alive.

[25:02] Jess McAnally: Because they cut to this sad scene of this guy trying to act, and I think they go right to the club and perform the song about, like, watch out for ninjas, and that's the entire song.

[25:12] Andrew DeWolf: No, I think the scene after that is they go to the beach, and the song, the friendship song is playing there.

[25:18] Jess McAnally: Yeah, they play the friendship song like four times, and I'm not even mad about it.

[25:21] Andrew DeWolf: But they don't end on the friendship song!

[25:24] Jess McAnally: I know, but it's already stuck in your head.

[25:27] Andrew DeWolf: No, they end with Against the Ninja, don't they?

[25:29] Jess McAnally: Well, I mean, they just defeated the ninja.

[25:31] Andrew DeWolf: It's thematically correct, in this case.

[25:33] Jess McAnally: Jess, if you were at the concert, though, you would be like, Taekwon, Taekwon, right?

[25:38] Andrew DeWolf: Yes! And if you heard the friendship song, you'd be like, Friends Forever. You'd be into it.

[25:43] Jess McAnally: Dude, they play the entire fucking song four times!

[25:45] Andrew DeWolf: It's so funny!

[25:47] Jess McAnally: It's like they're literally, they wrote these two songs, and they're like, well, we have to play the whole thing.

[25:52] Andrew DeWolf: Yeah, we worked hard. We paid someone to write these songs. We had to play them.

[25:55] Jess McAnally: It's just funny, because the opening scene is the cocaine bust, and then they cut right to the credit, and it's just a song about how awesome friendship is, after we witnessed a ninja motorcycle cocaine bust.

[26:07] Andrew DeWolf: It's like they wanted to make a children's movie about the power of friendship, and defeating your enemies with being best friends, but also they wanted to make an R-rated martial arts movie where they brutally murder everyone at the end.

[26:24] Jess McAnally: So it's like, they're just like, let's just make both.

[26:27] Andrew DeWolf: They also knew a guy who could rent like 10 motorcycles, so they're like, let's put them on motorcycles, because that would be cool.

[26:34] Jess McAnally: So what I heard is that YK Kim was actually a very respected member of the community in Orlando, and that people were actually volunteering to be in the movie.

[26:44] Andrew DeWolf: So I bet you some of the motorcycle people were just dudes that were in the area, and they're like, Oh yeah, he wants people in his movie? Like, yeah! Let's do it!

[26:53] Jess McAnally: That's so wholesome, I love it!

[26:56] Andrew DeWolf: Honestly, earnest wholesomeness is what makes this film kind of work. Like, there's not an ounce of cynicism to it.

[27:03] Jess McAnally: I love it.

[27:04] Andrew DeWolf: He did not do this because he wanted to be a big Hollywood star. He did not do this because of some, like, I wrote the best movie ever, and I'm the only person who can possibly act in it. It's literally just like, him and the Orlando community got together, and they were like, You know what? Let's make a movie.

[27:24] Jess McAnally: Also, he didn't write this movie. The other guy who directed it was like, I have an idea for a movie based on what you told me at this Korean talk show. And he's like, okay, cool, let's do it. I'll roll with it.

[27:35] Andrew DeWolf: This wasn't his idea, he was just going along with it. And it's like, it's just this big love letter to fucking Taekwondo, and they didn't do it well, and they didn't make a good movie, but it's like, there's so much passion here that you really can't hate it.

[27:50] Jess McAnally: And you remember. I feel like if you hate this movie, you don't have a soul, you know?

[27:56] Andrew DeWolf: You also remember the stupid shit, which is why So Bad It's Good movies has hit you more. It's like, I remember the dumb songs. I remember the weird beach butt shots they put to pad the movie. I remember all this stuff.

[28:09] Jess McAnally: So many So Bad It's Good movies, though, are incredibly cynical, and a lot of the humor comes from like, Oh wow, look it, they really did that, huh? This one, though, it's not at all like that.

[28:24] Andrew DeWolf: It's very different. So many of those So Bad It's Good movies come from the VHS boom, where they would just put anything on a VHS tape. And apparently this didn't even get distributed.

[28:37] Jess McAnally: Or the Asylum version of this, which is clearly made to cash in on this idea, but is doing it way too hard. And people who don't even like So Bad It's Good movies don't engage with it at all. They're like, you're trying too hard. It has to happen organically.

[28:52] Andrew DeWolf: I love how passionate y'all are about this movie. But sadly, I'm going to have to interrupt you, because it's time for a mid-show!

[29:04] Jess McAnally: Oh no, ads!

[29:06] Andrew DeWolf: Ads! Cue the ads!

[29:08] Jess McAnally: Yeah! We need to get your money! Give us your money, kids!

[29:15] Andrew DeWolf: Hey guys, sorry to interrupt you in the middle of the show, but we've got a show for you. Today's show is brought to you by the extremely kind donations by our donors over at Patreon. Andrew, tell us a little bit about Patreon.

[29:33] Andrew DeWolf: So Patreon is where you can go if you want to get some extra content from us. We recently did both of the Halloweentown films, if you can call them that. So you can check those out, and I'm sure we will do some non-Halloween-related things coming up soon as well. But you also get some perks. You can watch our shows live. You get them a day early, edited, without ads. And you can also add things to the wheel, which is kind of a big one. If you have something you want us to talk about and force us to watch and sit through, you get to do that.

[30:14] Jess McAnally: Do you guys want to hear what they're trying to get us to do now? Some of the suggestions we're currently hearing. There's some good ones this time around. They have Whiplash as one of them, Hundreds of Beavers, Stop, Make It Sense, or Rocketman. And probably the one I really want the most and I hope gets picked is Sabrina Carpenter's Short and Sweet. I've been listening to that for weeks. And it would bring us back to albums. We need to get away from movies, guys, and start doing some more wackier stuff. So I love that.

[30:44] Andrew DeWolf: Speaking of Saltburn.

[30:46] Jess McAnally: Oh, yeah. Andrew, why don't you tell us who's supporting us?

[30:50] Andrew DeWolf: Our supporters over at Patreon right now are... Kaylee Blazier, Villainous Miss, TheOmegaGeek, Maddie Wargill, Eliza Erdman, Evan Ball, Zachary Torres, Rora Marasso, Mara, Possessed Washing Machine, Nick Roten, Puffyboy, Sydney Hicks, Goldplated Kiki Mora, Aria Ardy, Emma, Kara Balda, JRL Studios, Alexandra Dahm, BT McManamy, Sarah, Virgil Zadiman, and Mary Cutright. These folks give us money to help us keep the lights on here at the Cheese Wheel. And if you'd like to join them in supporting us and get all the fun perks Andrew talked about and a lot more, come join us over at Patreon.

[32:00] Jess McAnally: And you know what? We know financially things are a little bit of a hard strain for everything. The job market's terrible. There might be an election coming up. If you could just share our show, send it to five people, leave us a review on Apple Podcasts, that would mean the world to us as well. I know we can't always ask financial responsibility. How about we get back to the show?

[32:22] Andrew DeWolf: Now that we're back from all those ads, it's time for everyone's favorite segment of the show, it's time for Previews!

[32:36] Jess McAnally: It's time for Previews! Previews! Previews! Previews!

[32:41] Andrew DeWolf: It's time for Previews! This is a game where Liz pulled real Letterboxd reviews from Letterboxd.com, and we have to guess whether or not they're a 1-star or 5-star based on nothing but the review alone. Um, Andrew, are you ready?

[32:55] Andrew DeWolf: I am always ready.

[32:57] Jess McAnally: Liz, are you ready?

[32:58] Liz Esten: I'm reading them, so yes.

[32:59] Andrew DeWolf: Yes! Let's go. Are you ready?

[33:01] Jess McAnally: I'm ready.

[33:02] Andrew DeWolf: Me and the gang if we were in a band and we were masters in taekwondo.

[33:05] Liz Esten: Um, true.

[33:07] Andrew DeWolf: And, 5.

[33:09] Jess McAnally: That's a 1. Jess, only through the elimination of violence can we achieve world peace.

[33:15] Andrew DeWolf: That's a 5, they got to the end.

[33:17] Jess McAnally: That's a 1, they got to the end.

[33:19] Andrew DeWolf: Damn. Andrew, just guys being dudes, getting shirtless, making cheesy rock songs about friendship and taekwondo, and killing bikers and ninjas who sell cocaine.

[33:30] Jess McAnally: 5, because that is so accurate, they must have liked it.

[33:33] Andrew DeWolf: That is correct. I'm ready. I'm ready. Give it to me.

[33:36] Liz Esten: A friend?

[33:37] Andrew DeWolf: That's a 5!

[33:38] Jess McAnally: That is correct.

[33:39] Andrew DeWolf: Yay! That is also from Colin of Red Letter Media fame.

[33:44] Jess McAnally: Oh.

[33:46] Andrew DeWolf: We should invite him on the show.

[33:48] Jess McAnally: Yeah.

[33:49] Andrew DeWolf: We should just see if he comes on, fuck it.

[33:51] Jess McAnally: Alright, Andrew.

[33:52] Andrew DeWolf: Yeah?

[33:53] Jess McAnally: So beautifully inept.

[33:55] Andrew DeWolf: Fuck. I'm an Americant.

[33:57] Jess McAnally: That is tough. I'm gonna go, I feel like I picked 5 for every single one of these, but I'm still gonna go 5.

[34:04] Andrew DeWolf: Alright, you keep giving me 5's by accident.

[34:07] Jess McAnally: Well, I was wrong the first time, so it just makes up for it.

[34:10] Andrew DeWolf: That makes up for it.

[34:14] Jess McAnally: Alright, Jess, are you ready?

[34:16] Jess McAnally: Yes!

[34:17] Andrew DeWolf: A dopey polycule of pop artists slash taekwondo masters decide to return to college and somehow find themselves in the middle of a gangland drug war.

[34:27] Jess McAnally: Dopey... Dopey Polycule is my drag name.

[34:31] Andrew DeWolf: Um...

[34:33] Jess McAnally: That sounds like a 5.

[34:35] Andrew DeWolf: That's a 1.

[34:36] Jess McAnally: Aww.

[34:37] Andrew DeWolf: Aww!

[34:38] Jess McAnally: Alright, Andrew, this movie sucked, but there were boobs.

[34:42] Andrew DeWolf: Barely.

[34:43] Jess McAnally: Barely any.

[34:44] Andrew DeWolf: There were, but it was only for like 2 fucking seconds. Is that really a- I'm gonna go 1 on this one.

[35:50] Jess McAnally: That's right. I mean, if it's like the first time you've seen boobs, like, it's a big deal.

[35:55] Andrew DeWolf: Woo!

[35:56] Jess McAnally: Woo! Why do you keep rewinding that scene in Miami Connection?

[36:01] Andrew DeWolf: It reminds me of this- It feels like out of place, too, because the whole rest of the movie is so, like, wholesome.

[36:07] Jess McAnally: There's a story that Katya, RuPaul's Drag Race person, likes to tell of she got a VHS of The Color of Night with Bruce Willis when she was younger and fucked up the tape so much watching the pool scene it stopped working.

[36:21] Andrew DeWolf: Because the pool scene has his dick in it.

[36:24] Jess McAnally: Well, now I'm just gonna Google Bruce Willis' dick. What's the next question?

[36:28] Andrew DeWolf: This is just- you lost, but you can get 2 points.

[36:32] Jess McAnally: Alright, I'm ready.

[36:33] Andrew DeWolf: Oh.

[36:34] Jess McAnally: Ninjas.

[36:35] Andrew DeWolf: 5.

[36:36] Jess McAnally: That's right. But Andrew very cleanly won that without any points I gave him for being cool. Good job, Andrew.

[36:41] Andrew DeWolf: You know what? As long as we're all friends at the end, I can see Bruce Willis' dick.

[36:49] Andrew DeWolf: Hey, you know what we can do in the second half of this one that we haven't done since we've changed podcasts?

[36:53] Jess McAnally: What's it?

[36:54] Andrew DeWolf: TALK ABOUT THE SONGS!

[36:55] Jess McAnally: We can talk about the songs!

[36:57] Andrew DeWolf: I think we should kind of do it via tier list. How about that?

[37:04] Jess McAnally: There's only two songs!

[37:06] Andrew DeWolf: There's only two, really, yeah.

[37:08] Jess McAnally: Well, no, you gotta do every variation of the friendship song.

[37:11] Andrew DeWolf: Is there a tier list of this?

[37:13] Jess McAnally: It's the same one.

[37:15] Andrew DeWolf: What is the best implementation of the friendship song out of all the times?

[37:19] Jess McAnally: I don't know, they all blend together.

[37:21] Andrew DeWolf: No, there is a best time, and I think it's after they cut away from him crying about his dad.

[37:29] Jess McAnally: That's the funniest time they do it, and they don't do it for the entire song like they do the first time that they do it, so it's better.

[37:37] Andrew DeWolf: That's an S-tier song placement right there.

[37:40] Jess McAnally: And there's the other song.

[37:43] Andrew DeWolf: Against the Ninja.

[37:45] Jess McAnally: Against the Ninja.

[37:47] Andrew DeWolf: Against the Ninja, the scene where they play the entire thing and it's clapping off beat at all times, that's a solid B-tier.

[38:13] Jess McAnally: We will fight, we'll fight, we'll win, against the Ninja.

[38:18] Andrew DeWolf: We will fight, we'll fight, we'll see.

[38:23] Jess McAnally: Hey, what? Hey, what?

[38:26] Andrew DeWolf: Hey, what? Hey, what?

[38:28] Jess McAnally: Yeah, so people compare this to, like, Samurai Cop.

[38:35] Andrew DeWolf: This is more fun than Samurai Cop.

[38:38] Jess McAnally: Samurai Cop is more of a funny because it's completely incompetent, whereas this one is funny because they make strange decisions story-wise, and the acting is not really there.

[38:55] Andrew DeWolf: And this one has much less speedos and random sex scenes than Samurai Cop does.

[39:01] Jess McAnally: I'm gonna say, just outright, Miami Connection is a more fun movie to watch than Samurai Cop.

[39:08] Andrew DeWolf: And that's as a fan of Samurai Cop, like, I've seen Samurai Cop multiple times, but Miami Connection is the one that I think is, it's just more fun.

[39:18] Jess McAnally: Like, Samurai Cop doesn't have a terrible, goofy rock concert in it.

[39:27] Andrew DeWolf: I was gonna mention Samurai Cop earlier, actually.

[39:31] Jess McAnally: In what reference?

[39:32] Andrew DeWolf: And this reminds me of Samurai Cop. That's what I was gonna say, but you already said.

[39:37] Jess McAnally: Like, I feel like they're, like, connected in a Red Letter BD-esque way, but I am so woefully bored by Samurai Cop.

[39:47] Andrew DeWolf: Samurai Cop is what this movie could have been in a way that I would have just fucking hated every second of it.

[39:55] Jess McAnally: Is it because the police captain is on, like, a 30 in terms of volume and acting level in Samurai Cop?

[40:01] Andrew DeWolf: He's just the angriest police captain I've ever seen in all of cinema.

[40:04] Jess McAnally: And also, his partner is fucking hilarious.

[40:07] Andrew DeWolf: The partner is great. One of the other great things about Miami Connection is it's still kinda sacred.

[40:14] Jess McAnally: If you know what I mean.

[40:17] Andrew DeWolf: There's no sequel like Samurai Cop, is what you're saying.

[40:20] Jess McAnally: There's been no sequel, there's been no film about it, there's been no tell-all book.

[40:23] Andrew DeWolf: It is just the movie. And that's great.

[40:27] Jess McAnally: Like, the biggest, most mainstream reference is someone in the Happy Music video, in the Pharrell video, is wearing a, what is it, Dragon Sound t-shirt.

[40:36] Andrew DeWolf: Yeah, which they make. You can buy.

[40:39] Jess McAnally: I think there is a truth to that where when a so-bad-it's-good B movie becomes too mainstream, it's just not as funny anymore because everyone's laughing now.

[40:48] Andrew DeWolf: Like, The Room is kinda like the normie so-bad-it's-good movie.

[40:56] Jess McAnally: I still think it's a funny movie to watch, but it would be a lot better if you found, if you, like, when you watched it, you knew that it was, like, you and your friends thing, you know?

[41:06] Andrew DeWolf: Like, you and your friends like The Room, and other people don't know about it.

[41:11] Jess McAnally: But, it's just not the case.

[41:13] Andrew DeWolf: There's actually another reference that's actually fucking funny.

[41:15] Jess McAnally: Let's hear it.

[41:17] Andrew DeWolf: Far Cry 3, Blood Dragon, features the song Friends in its end credits.

[41:26] Jess McAnally: That's classic.

[41:27] Andrew DeWolf: This is 2013. I wonder, sincerely, if I could license it and just put it in the end credits of my movie.

[41:35] Jess McAnally: Like, just put Friends in the end credits.

[41:37] Andrew DeWolf: I think Micah Kim would give it to you.

[41:39] Jess McAnally: Is it even copyright?

[41:41] Andrew DeWolf: Is it copyrighted?

[41:43] Jess McAnally: Who's Dragon Sound, you know?

[41:47] Andrew DeWolf: Who is Dragon Sound?

[41:49] Jess McAnally: I mean, someone had to have written that song.

[41:51] Andrew DeWolf: Like, effort was put in.

[41:53] Jess McAnally: Like, there's love in that song, just like there's love in every frame of this movie.

[41:57] Andrew DeWolf: Speaking of love in every frame, what is our overall thoughts on Miami Connection and our cheese rating?

[42:05] Jess McAnally: Andrew, why don't you go first?

[42:07] Andrew DeWolf: So, Miami Connection is objectively not a good movie, but it is incredibly fun to watch.

[42:15] Andrew DeWolf: And if you have a group of friends that have kind of a very lax, goofy sense of humor, and you like getting drunk and watching movies, this is the shit.

[42:23] Andrew DeWolf: You put this on and you're gonna have a fucking blast.

[42:27] Andrew DeWolf: You can't go wrong.

[42:33] Andrew DeWolf: And I'm so glad that YK Kim is still around, and I hope he lives forever.

[42:42] Jess McAnally: Um...

[42:44] Andrew DeWolf: Yeah.

[42:46] Jess McAnally: Cheese rating?

[42:48] Andrew DeWolf: Um...

[42:50] Andrew DeWolf: God, I just...

[42:52] Andrew DeWolf: Today I'm just having this vibes-based thing where this is popping into my head and I'm just like, that's what it gets.

[42:59] Andrew DeWolf: I want to give a cheese pizza.

[43:01] Andrew DeWolf: I just feel like I'm thanking Miami Connection and I'm like, whenever I watch it, I get my friends together and we order a pizza and we get a bunch of drinks.

[43:13] Andrew DeWolf: And, yeah. Miami Connection is a pizza.

[43:19] Jess McAnally: You know what? That's lovely.

[43:21] Jess McAnally: Liz, you're up next.

[43:23] Liz Esten: I love a so-bad-as-good movie.

[43:25] Liz Esten: I'm not a big action movie person when they're good, but when there's something like Miami Connection, I totally vibe with an action movie.

[43:31] Liz Esten: It's just so absurd, I can engage with it.

[43:33] Liz Esten: I love this movie. YK Kim is a delight.

[43:37] Liz Esten: Watch it with your friends.

[43:39] Liz Esten: You might want to get maybe a little plastered the first time, but don't go too far.

[43:43] Liz Esten: You want to enjoy it.

[43:45] Liz Esten: This movie's great. Watch it. Check it out.

[43:47] Liz Esten: I think Andrew put it really well.

[43:49] Liz Esten: I'm going to give it just a really good fast food cheeseburger.

[43:55] Liz Esten: Just something that hits you right when you need it.

[43:59] Jess McAnally: Yeah, that's a good choice. All of you have good choices.

[44:01] Jess McAnally: This isn't my thing.

[44:04] Jess McAnally: I'm not an action movie kind of guy.

[44:06] Jess McAnally: I'm not a bad movie kind of guy.

[44:08] Jess McAnally: I feel really like the lame guy.

[44:10] Jess McAnally: I do enjoy content about bad movies.

[44:12] Jess McAnally: I like Red Letter Media.

[44:14] Jess McAnally: I like my riff tracks. I love that.

[44:16] Jess McAnally: But I can't just turn on a bad movie and be like, Oh, I'm having a blast.

[44:20] Jess McAnally: I don't tend to have friends that like that either.

[44:26] Andrew DeWolf: Aside from you guys, I guess.

[44:28] Jess McAnally: Are we not friends?

[44:30] Andrew DeWolf: Yeah, I guess.

[44:33] Jess McAnally: I appreciate this for its sincere work, but I have zero plans to ever watch this again.

[44:37] Jess McAnally: I listen to Dragon Sound's two songs quite a bit.

[44:39] Jess McAnally: They are on my iPhone now.

[44:45] Jess McAnally: Against the Ninja.

[44:49] Jess McAnally: They will be through my playlist all around.

[44:51] Jess McAnally: I'm really dreading an upcoming episode.

[44:53] Jess McAnally: Our Thanksgiving episode.

[44:55] Jess McAnally: For this exact reason of, I don't like bad movies.

[44:59] Jess McAnally: Cars was hard to watch.

[45:01] Andrew DeWolf: I think we might have just emotionally spoiled it, just based on the vibes.

[45:07] Jess McAnally: I am giving this Goldfish crackers.

[45:09] Jess McAnally: You know what?

[45:11] Jess McAnally: I don't like them very much, but I can't fault them for being what they are.

[45:15] Jess McAnally: It smiles right back at me because it's so charming.

[45:17] Jess McAnally: And I love Goldfish.

[45:19] Andrew DeWolf: I don't love Goldfish, but I don't dissuade anyone that does.

[45:23] Jess McAnally: I get it.

[45:25] Andrew DeWolf: You're not going to call me an idiot for liking Goldfish.

[45:27] Jess McAnally: Andrew's got the transcripts.

[45:30] Andrew DeWolf: He already did.

[45:32] Jess McAnally: I'm sorry.

[45:34] Andrew DeWolf: He actually just sent it to me right now.

[45:36] Jess McAnally: When you said, I like Goldfish, Jess literally texted you.

[45:42] Andrew DeWolf: What an idiot.

[45:44] Jess McAnally: She would like Goldfish, wouldn't she?

[45:48] Andrew DeWolf: That's literally what he said.

[45:50] Andrew DeWolf: It's right here.

[45:52] Jess McAnally: Your honor, just look at him.

[45:56] Andrew DeWolf: Thank you guys for listening.

[45:59] Andrew DeWolf: We're on Twitter at Cheezwheelcast.

[46:01] Andrew DeWolf: We're on Patreon at TheCheezwheel.

[46:03] Andrew DeWolf: We're on Instagram at TheCheezwheelpodcast.

[46:05] Andrew DeWolf: YouTube page, MusicalsWithCheese.

[46:07] Andrew DeWolf: I ain't changing that, bitches.

[46:09] Andrew DeWolf: Patreon with Cheese.

[46:11] Andrew DeWolf: And we did the Halloweentown commentaries over there. Check them out.

[46:15] Andrew DeWolf: Email us at musicaltheaterlives.gmail.com.

[46:17] Andrew DeWolf: Our keeper of the cheese is Juliet Antonio.

[46:19] Andrew DeWolf: This show is edited by Andrew DeWolf.

[46:21] Andrew DeWolf: And a theme song is written by Andrew DeWolf.

[46:23] Andrew DeWolf: This show specifically was produced by Liz Esten and did all the research.

[46:27] Andrew DeWolf: Thank you to the Broadway Podcast Network for having us on the platform and for not kicking us off for, you know what, crying with our pants unbuttoned in front of all of our friends.

[46:35] Jess McAnally: That would be a weird thing to do.

[46:37] Andrew DeWolf: I thought we were all orphans.

[46:39] Jess McAnally: I thought we were all orphans, yeah.

[46:41] Andrew DeWolf: It is weird that his pants is just fully unbuttoned.

[46:45] Jess McAnally: I didn't even notice.

[46:47] Andrew DeWolf: We all know what Jess was looking for.

[46:49] Jess McAnally: But Jess, the wheel.

[46:51] Andrew DeWolf: We have the transcript.

[46:53] Jess McAnally: I did look up Bruce Willis' penis.

[46:56] Andrew DeWolf: But the wheel.

[46:58] Andrew DeWolf: Bring in the wheel to figure out what we're covering next week.

[47:02] Jess McAnally: Do we have any prediction?

[47:04] Andrew DeWolf: I don't know. Probably a book.

[47:08] Jess McAnally: A book?

[47:10] Andrew DeWolf: It's going to be a book.

[47:12] Jess McAnally: Did any of us put a book on the list?

[47:14] Andrew DeWolf: God, I didn't know any of you knew how to read.

[47:16] Jess McAnally: I don't.

[47:18] Andrew DeWolf: That's why it's going to be pretty hard to cover.

[47:20] Jess McAnally: Liam and Michelle, just learn to read real quick.

[47:23] Andrew DeWolf: Alright!

[47:25] Jess McAnally: Let's spin this wheel!

[47:27] Andrew DeWolf: Look at that baby go!

[47:33] Jess McAnally: The instrumentation you put onto the wheel music is weird.

[47:35] Andrew DeWolf: It's neat though.

[47:39] Jess McAnally: Oh my god! Liz!

[47:41] Andrew DeWolf: It's one of your choices.

[47:43] Jess McAnally: Honestly, I'm so happy to be talking about this.

[47:45] Andrew DeWolf: We almost covered this on Musicals & Cheese so many times.

[47:49] Jess McAnally: I'm really excited for this.

[47:51] Andrew DeWolf: Go to the Vista Del Mar!

[47:57] Jess McAnally: We're starting off the November holiday.

[47:59] Andrew DeWolf: And also, not to be a negative Nelly like that, I believe it will be the first episode released after Election Day.

[48:11] Jess McAnally: Isn't that a fucked up one to go into this new presidential world with?

[48:17] Andrew DeWolf: We'll have to record it twice to cover it.

[48:20] Jess McAnally: Guys, will Trump have one?

[48:22] Andrew DeWolf: Or will Trump claim that he has one?

[48:24] Jess McAnally: Which one will it be?

[48:26] Andrew DeWolf: Maybe both!

[48:28] Jess McAnally: Alright! Thank you guys for listening and we'll see you next time for Barb and Star on the Cheese Wheel.

[48:36] Andrew DeWolf: Also, vote!

[48:38] Jess McAnally: You guys should probably go vote!

[48:40] Andrew DeWolf: For Kamala Harris.

[48:49] Jess McAnally: Thanks for watching!
