[0:00] Tommy Bracco: Hi, everyone. It's Tommy and Anjelica. And I'm Phil. And you are listening to Real Tawk. I'm very excited. I'm only very excited just because I have a lot to say. This has been way too long. I'm sorry. Welcome back, everyone. We're very happy to be here. I mean, listen, Thomas quit his show just so we could do this podcast.

[0:18] Anjelica Vispisiano: Yes, I did.

[0:19] Tommy Bracco: No, he didn't. He quit to plan a wedding.

[0:23] Phil Bracco: Yes. Anyway, I know before we get started on The Traitors, I just got to give a shout out to Michelle on the challenge.

[0:29] Anjelica Vispisiano: I feel like you're very loud.

[0:30] Tommy Bracco: Really? I'll back up.

[0:33] Anjelica Vispisiano: All right. Just back up a little bit.

[0:35] Tommy Bracco: Yeah. She killed it.

[0:39] Anjelica Vispisiano: You didn't really back up.

[0:40] Tommy Bracco: Yeah, you literally didn't move at all. All right. She killed it. All right. She did kill it. Listen, I didn't watch the season, I got to be honest, but I did keep up just from watching clips and stuff. She performed arguably the best in the final. And she went into tons of eliminations. I mean, obviously, Jenny did.

[0:59] Anjelica Vispisiano: Yeah.

[1:00] Tommy Bracco: But she was right there with Jenny. She was right there. She won against eliminations. This was her season. And for the karma votes to just like come in in the very end and take her down, it didn't feel right. It feels like a cop out. It just makes it, I don't know, to me, it's just another twist. There was another twist that they had. And I actually liked the twist. But, you know, it is what it is. But she did great. I got to hand it to Rachel. She was the only one from the first decade.

[1:29] Phil Bracco: Arrow won.

[1:30] Tommy Bracco: Arrow won. And she made it all the way through. Got to hand it to her.

[1:36] Anjelica Vispisiano: But she only won because of the karma votes.

[1:41] Tommy Bracco: It was kind of stupid. She would have come in third.

[1:47] Phil Bracco: Right. All right. Third out of four. It's not great. Like, why do you got to hand it to her for winning when she only won because of a stupid twist? It doesn't really matter. All of Arrow won went out early on and she stood on.

[1:56] Anjelica Vispisiano: She is great. She is amazing. Yes. But I just think that.

[2:02] Tommy Bracco: You're just a little salty because Michelle didn't win.

[2:05] Anjelica Vispisiano: Yeah. I didn't like it. I didn't like that at all. Anyway. And listen, okay. I hate what you guys are talking about.

[2:10] Phil Bracco: Yeah, it's stupid. Should I talk about Surviving Barstool?

[2:19] Tommy Bracco: Right. I didn't see it yet.

[2:20] Anjelica Vispisiano: Exactly. But listen, the challenge is a big thing.

[2:25] Phil Bracco: No, it's not. It's so irrelevant. It's the most irrelevant reality show of all time.

[2:29] Tommy Bracco: I'm going to tell you something. It actually is. Do you know that? No. That finale, it gets less than five.

[2:33] Anjelica Vispisiano: I feel like we're so loud. I'm going to blow my brains out.

[2:39] Tommy Bracco: I can't go any way. I can't go any far away. Okay, we're back. We had to look at the technical difficulties. They said I'm being very loud tonight. So just back up. I don't know where else you want me to go.

[2:44] Anjelica Vispisiano: You get echoed in when I'm there. It's fine. It's like when I'm close and you don't get the echo.

[2:52] Tommy Bracco: I hear you. Anyway. All right. Let's talk about The Traitors because that's really why we're here. Let's dive right in. Where do we start? I have notes.

[3:02] Anjelica Vispisiano: For the first time ever, Angelica took notes.

[3:04] Tommy Bracco: No, not ever. In the beginning, she was very prepared. She used to have a lot of notes. She used to read all the articles that were out there. She came in to tell us things.

[3:14] Anjelica Vispisiano: I'm still able to. It's just in my head. But this time, I have notes.

[3:22] Tommy Bracco: Okay. First, I want to shout out Wells because I'm devastated that he's gone.

[3:28] Phil Bracco: We're talking all three episodes.

[3:31] Anjelica Vispisiano: Yeah. We're just diving right in.

[3:34] Tommy Bracco: Why are you not devastated? You don't know him. It makes sense.

[3:39] Anjelica Vispisiano: No, I was not about to say that. You literally got it wrong. I was just going to say, he really was playing good. The fact that he was staying close to, what was her name? Amar?

[3:45] Phil Bracco: Yeah. I forget her name.

[3:50] Anjelica Vispisiano: Who I also was obsessed with. I don't know her, but I was obsessed with her so bad.

[3:53] Tommy Bracco: Me too. I was so sad that they killed her. I was like, oh my God, the best person's gone. She's going to be the funny comedic relief of the season. I'm known for being beautiful, but I want to show my brains.

[4:02] Anjelica Vispisiano: She was really cute.

[4:05] Tommy Bracco: No, she was so amazing. I loved her.

[4:07] Anjelica Vispisiano: Me too. Listen, I'm really enjoying it. I had to watch it just now to finish it up. That's why we got off to a little late start here. I feel like, okay, so let's start from the beginning. Boss and Rob, they bring him out. Alan says, shake my hand, murder someone, bring him in. If somebody were to take that, fine, put it in the show. They should've just cut that out. That was stupid. Nobody took that opportunity. Why are you even showing us that? You're putting him in the game anyway.

[4:39] Phil Bracco: It felt very weird because why wasn't that offered with Wes and what's his name?

[4:46] Tommy Bracco: Derek.

[4:47] Phil Bracco: Come on. How did you not notice?

[4:50] Tommy Bracco: I don't know. I just felt like it was weird. It just goes to show that production was just trying to get Rob in whichever way they could. I don't know. It felt weird.

[4:58] Anjelica Vispisiano: I completely agree. I hated that. Yeah. If somebody would've took it, that would've been sick. Great. But they didn't.

[5:03] Tommy Bracco: But nobody did. Just don't even show us it. Anyway, that was number one. Number two is I feel like we needed Wes.

[5:11] Phil Bracco: I do feel like we needed that-

[5:16] Tommy Bracco: Phenomenal player.

[5:17] Phil Bracco: Yeah. That dicky, arrogant. I like him too.

[5:21] Tommy Bracco: Yeah. Derek is good, but I do feel like there are a lot of similar Dereks in this game right now. I feel like it's Wells, it's Dylan, it's Derek. They're all the same vibe. I do wish we would've seen an iconic woman with Boston Rob and Wes.

[5:34] Anjelica Vispisiano: I was just going to say, maybe it's just the fact that it's 2025 and we've been conditioned at this point to think this way, but it didn't feel right to have three straight white men come in as the saviors. It was a little weird.

[5:49] Tommy Bracco: It was a little bit of weird vibes.

[5:51] Anjelica Vispisiano: I didn't get weird vibes.

[5:52] Tommy Bracco: Of course you didn't, but I did feel like that. I'm like, not one. It's so stupid.

[6:06] Phil Bracco: Yeah. It just felt like, I feel like there are very, I said to John, I said, look at this round table right now. It's literally so many men. I wasn't so much focused on the diversity of nationalities, I guess, but I was more like men against women. It's just, there's so many men and there's so many similar men. If they had these crazy men that had all these different personalities, I feel like there's five that are all in the same playing field.

[6:31] Tommy Bracco: Yeah. It's like the same font.

[6:32] Phil Bracco: Yeah. 100%.

[6:34] Anjelica Vispisiano: All right. I'm going to stick up for Derek here. Okay.

[6:36] Phil Bracco: We're not sticking against Derek.

[6:38] Anjelica Vispisiano: No. Yeah. It has nothing to do with Derek. I wish Derek was in from the beginning. One of the things that Derek said, as soon as he sits down, is one of these two guys next to me is a traitor.

[6:48] Phil Bracco: Yeah. We're not talking about that.

[6:49] Anjelica Vispisiano: That was brilliant.

[6:50] Tommy Bracco: We're literally just talking about-

[6:52] Anjelica Vispisiano: That was brilliant.

[6:53] Phil Bracco: Yeah. He's great. He's amazing.

[6:55] Anjelica Vispisiano: So he's not similar in my fact. I think he's way above those other guys.

[7:00] Tommy Bracco: I think the three guys they brought in-

[7:02] Phil Bracco: Way above those other guys. Dylan is killing it.

[7:05] Anjelica Vispisiano: He really is. He's so good.

[7:06] Phil Bracco: Dylan is literally hot on the trail.

[7:09] Anjelica Vispisiano: Yes.

[7:09] Phil Bracco: Of Bob.

[7:10] Anjelica Vispisiano: Of Bob. And he said, Danielle.

[7:12] Phil Bracco: Yeah. I know.

[7:13] Anjelica Vispisiano: He's killing it.

[7:14] Phil Bracco: He is doing really good without a doubt. Love it. You know who's not and who I can't fucking stand?

[7:20] Anjelica Vispisiano: I almost want to say at the same time, because I'm curious.

[7:22] Phil Bracco: We've been having the same take so far.

[7:25] Anjelica Vispisiano: I don't know. We're not going to say the same thing, but let's just say it at the same time.

[7:28] Phil Bracco: Britney Spears' ex.

[7:30] Anjelica Vispisiano: What?

[7:30] Phil Bracco: Oh, I was going to- We didn't count. I was going to do one, two, three.

[7:34] Anjelica Vispisiano: He went one, and she goes Britney Spears.

[7:37] Phil Bracco: Who are you going to say?

[7:38] Anjelica Vispisiano: Danielle. She's driving me crazy.

[7:42] Phil Bracco: No. She's my most hated. I didn't get to my most hated. She's my most hated.

[7:45] Anjelica Vispisiano: And I feel bad because she's awesome.

[7:46] Phil Bracco: I was just talking about irrelevant people. Britney Spears' ex, I can't stand. What's that, Carl? Danielle is brutal.

[7:53] Anjelica Vispisiano: I know. I know. I don't know.

[7:55] Phil Bracco: What is she doing?

[7:56] Anjelica Vispisiano: Here's what I think it is. I'm so happy that they said, oh, they're onto you because you're fake-ass crying.

[8:01] Phil Bracco: Yeah.

[8:01] Anjelica Vispisiano: You're in the DR like, I'm doing an amazing acting job. I'm A plus.

[8:07] Phil Bracco: Interesting.

[8:08] Anjelica Vispisiano: Yeah. It's so cocky. It's not confident. It's cocky. There's a difference.

[8:11] Phil Bracco: But she did say, you can't get rid of Britney because that would be putting on me.

[8:17] Anjelica Vispisiano: She's still a good player, but she's playing way too hard.

[8:21] Phil Bracco: And I think that maybe she's a little rusty or something.

[8:25] Anjelica Vispisiano: No, she was just on-

[8:26] Phil Bracco: Here's what I actually think it is. I think that she is the best to never win. That's what Derek said about her.

[8:32] Anjelica Vispisiano: Not in my book.

[8:34] Phil Bracco: I do agree with that. Her and Big Brother, she changed the game of Big Brother.

[8:39] Anjelica Vispisiano: That was 10 years ago.

[8:40] Phil Bracco: She's a legend for a reason. I think that she's almost getting in her head and she's trying too hard.

[8:46] Anjelica Vispisiano: Insecure.

[8:47] Phil Bracco: Yes. And I feel like that's why she's playing like this. It's because she's trying to prove to the world that she is the legend that she is.

[8:57] Anjelica Vispisiano: I'm so glad Boston Rob had that take of her at breakfast because I was cringing.

[9:03] Phil Bracco: Yeah, I know.

[9:03] Anjelica Vispisiano: At like her performance.

[9:05] Phil Bracco: I know. Is the best I've ever seen.

[9:08] Anjelica Vispisiano: Except I don't think what he just did at the round table was so smart.

[9:12] Phil Bracco: I don't either.

[9:12] Anjelica Vispisiano: He didn't need to stick his neck out like that. There was no need for it. And it only created a negative target, if anything, on him. It didn't help him in any light.

[9:20] Phil Bracco: Right. He was trying to save Bob.

[9:22] Anjelica Vispisiano: Which, okay, that's another one of my points on the list. Please, somebody explain to me why. I understand traders not wanting to say other fellow traders' names.

[9:33] Phil Bracco: Right.

[9:34] Anjelica Vispisiano: I would love the opportunity if I'm a trader and a faithful is coming to me, and they're saying another trader's name. I wouldn't run with it and be like, oh my God, I'm going to bring it up at the round table. But I'd be like, wow, yeah, I really got to watch them. That's a great point. Just give them a little something not to like, why are these traders trying to protect each other so hard? You're going to have to give a trader to the faithfuls. Don't you want it not to be you? I'm so confused why Boston Rob's protecting Bob. I'm confused why Danielle's protecting Bob so hard. It's just weird to me.

[10:09] Phil Bracco: Yeah, I agree with that.

[10:10] Anjelica Vispisiano: I feel like next episode, I really want to see a trader-

[10:14] Phil Bracco: Go after another trader.

[10:15] Anjelica Vispisiano: Not go after even so hard, but when the opportunity presents itself, go with it.

[10:19] Phil Bracco: Yep.

[10:20] Anjelica Vispisiano: There's no need to protect them. And that's what I feel like Boston Rob did. He protected Bob, which I think is weird.

[10:25] Phil Bracco: Yeah, I do. I agree with that.

[10:26] Anjelica Vispisiano: Just don't say anything.

[10:28] Tommy Bracco: I know. All right. So I believe that Survivor's going to be coming out with a returning players game very soon.

[10:33] Phil Bracco: Oh, no. It's season 50. Yeah.

[10:39] Anjelica Vispisiano: They confirmed that.

[10:40] Phil Bracco: Okay. And I think-

[10:42] Anjelica Vispisiano: He's like, I believe as if-

[10:43] Phil Bracco: That is setting up Survivor 50 when he leaves and goes, you're a sellout, bro.

[10:49] Anjelica Vispisiano: And they both come back. Maybe. We'll see.

[10:52] Phil Bracco: I think that's what-

[10:53] Anjelica Vispisiano: Maybe. But also speaking of Bob, at first I was like, oh, I'm loving this.

[10:57] Phil Bracco: No.

[10:57] Anjelica Vispisiano: Last episode, I can no longer stand it.

[11:00] Phil Bracco: I love him.

[11:01] Anjelica Vispisiano: He's going to-

[11:01] Phil Bracco: I liked him even- That's the only time now we're finally on opposite sides.

[11:05] Anjelica Vispisiano: Okay.

[11:05] Phil Bracco: I loved his take on the last episode. It made me love him more because-

[11:10] Anjelica Vispisiano: Well, I was-

[11:11] Phil Bracco: You say four. You say one first.

[11:12] Anjelica Vispisiano: I was hating him this last episode up until after the roundtable when he went up to Dylan and was like high-fiving him. I do like that kind of sportsmanship.

[11:21] Phil Bracco: Right.

[11:21] Anjelica Vispisiano: Then it made me pull the brakes a little bit on hating him. I feel like we haven't seen a trader take the approach that he's ready to take.

[11:30] Phil Bracco: Yes, that is also true.

[11:31] Anjelica Vispisiano: When somebody is throwing his name out, he's like, come for me. I will fucking go after him.

[11:36] Phil Bracco: Yeah.

[11:37] Anjelica Vispisiano: That aggressive, ready to go, I loved that. I was like-

[11:44] Anjelica Vispisiano: Because look, Dylan's like, oh, you're totally a traitor. You literally said the name through in chaos, backed up, like... Yeah, but I love that Bob is ready to just go head to head with Dylan. He's like, yeah, you want to come for me? Yeah. And then I do, like, the sportsmanship after. He was, like, high-fiving him, laughing with him, like, wow, I give you credit, you have balls. I really loved that. Like, that made me love him even more, that he was ready to take that approach. I definitely don't hate him, hate him. Nowhere on Danielle's level. I can't stand Danielle. My favorites are Bob, Gabby, Carolyn, and Dylan. Wait, Gabby, stop. Gabby, I love Gabby so much, but she's so bad at this game.

She's so funny. And I'm so interested to see her walking in on them. That's going to be so iconic. She's not going to know what to do with that information. At that point, she probably should have backed up and just watched them. Like, the Bambis, whatever they're calling themselves, they're so off. They don't know. How about when they go, how was it like being on The Bachelor? And she goes, I'm a lesbian now. Yeah, that was great.

[12:45] Tommy Bracco: You ever see her girlfriend?

[12:50] Anjelica Vispisiano: Yes. I gotta show you. Yeah, I love Gabby. I'm a big Gabby fan. So she could do no wrong in my eyes. I also want to give her the benefit of the doubt and say that she might be smarter than she appears to be and lets on.

[13:01] Phil Bracco: No, she is so witty. She is so smart. But she's not so far in this game.

[13:07] Anjelica Vispisiano: I know. She just had bad reads right now, but maybe her reads will get better. She's this little Jewish comedian.

[13:22] Phil Bracco: Look, this is her.

[13:25] Anjelica Vispisiano: That's her?

[13:26] Phil Bracco: The girlfriend, Gabby's girlfriend.

[13:28] Anjelica Vispisiano: I mean, she's cool.

[13:30] Phil Bracco: She's so cool.

[13:31] Anjelica Vispisiano: She is cool. I like her. She's like this little ass, very Jewish, hilarious comedian. It's just not what you would expect that Gabby with, I feel like.

[13:40] Phil Bracco: I mean, Gabby's pretty.

[13:43] Anjelica Vispisiano: Gorgeous, yes. She's gorgeous. She's not just pretty. She's uniquely gorgeous.

[13:47] Phil Bracco: Well, when I say that, you make fun of me. So I try to downplay it a little.

[13:51] Anjelica Vispisiano: Well, I'm not calling her sexy. I'm just saying she's gorgeous, which she is.

[13:57] Phil Bracco: All right.

[13:59] Anjelica Vispisiano: Can we talk about who else I'm obsessed with?

[14:01] Phil Bracco: Who?

[14:02] Anjelica Vispisiano: Carolyn.

[14:03] Phil Bracco: Oh, obsessed with her bad.

[14:06] Anjelica Vispisiano: And she's actually good.

[14:07] Phil Bracco: Yep.

[14:08] Anjelica Vispisiano: She's, her takes, every take, I'm like, yes, yes. Even in the traitor turret.

[14:14] Phil Bracco: Yep. This is what...

[14:16] Anjelica Vispisiano: That's another thing I can't stand about Bob. Him acting like he's on a higher level than the other traitors.

[14:22] Phil Bracco: I know, I know.

[14:22] Anjelica Vispisiano: That's a little bit annoying.

[14:24] Phil Bracco: Yeah, sure.

[14:24] Anjelica Vispisiano: You're not. That's annoying, but it's like in the heat of the game. I will hear no other options. You can't do that. You're in a room of four people. She won't have an option if we just tell her she's doing it.

[14:35] Phil Bracco: No. When they were in the turret and he was saying, I want another housewife. And she's like, I don't think that's smart. And he's like, well, I don't want to hear any other options. That's crazy. You can't say that.

[14:45] Anjelica Vispisiano: But that's why Bob is who Bob is.

[14:48] Phil Bracco: Yeah, I guess.

[14:49] Anjelica Vispisiano: And then they were like, what? You guys are just going after housewives.

[14:53] Phil Bracco: Which they are.

[14:54] Anjelica Vispisiano: Yeah, they literally were.

[14:56] Phil Bracco: The housewives do well. And they're good. They're a bunch of numbers.

[14:59] Anjelica Vispisiano: Well, no, they're really not doing well. Like Robin is not doing great.

[15:04] Phil Bracco: That's the thing. You always say what happened last season affects this season.

[15:10] Anjelica Vispisiano: Yes.

[15:10] Phil Bracco: And those housewives, they just kept voting from each other. Even though they knew, oh, she's probably a traitor, but she'll keep me.

[15:18] Anjelica Vispisiano: Yeah, no, I know. I can't vote against her.

[15:21] Phil Bracco: Yeah, I don't understand that.

[15:23] Anjelica Vispisiano: Um, I also think like, it's so early in the game. Like, I would love to see a faithful take a different tactic. Like, okay, clearly, we're not getting all these traitors out the first like four weeks. Like, if you're really onto someone, keep it to yourself and align with them.

[15:34] Phil Bracco: I know.

[15:44] Anjelica Vispisiano: Align with it. I would love to see a faithful actively in the DRs. Like, I know this person's a traitor. I'm not telling a soul. And I'm aligning with them hardcore.

[15:54] Phil Bracco: I know. I completely agree.

[15:56] Anjelica Vispisiano: Like no faithfuls do that.

[15:57] Phil Bracco: Why don't they?

[15:58] Anjelica Vispisiano: I don't know. I mean, when you're in it, it's pretty intense. I don't really think like that.

[16:02] Phil Bracco: So that's my mindset now, but I would have never thought about that back then. Piggybacking off of that, we have a question from Rocco Cologito. Actually, I said his last name wrong.

[16:15] Anjelica Vispisiano: Clojuricico. I don't know how to say his last name. He's the guy from Growing Up Italian that me and Kathy did his podcast. He said, what's the strategy to make it far as a faithful? Seems like it's smart to lay low the whole time. Thinking outside the box, I agree with what you said. Find out who the traitor is and be their best friend.

[16:33] Phil Bracco: And then at the very end, when you're standing around a fire, get rid of them.

[16:37] Anjelica Vispisiano: A hundred percent. It's so irrelevant. Like, it's so irrelevant to like actively, vocally fighting against these traitors. You need to have a little bit of sus on you. That way the traitors keep you as a shield. Not too much that you got banished at the round table. I mean, it sounds a lot easier said than done, but.

[16:55] Phil Bracco: Well, this, it goes back to like, you know, we've had some discussions about this. The problem with the format of the show, like where it's not clicking.

[17:05] Anjelica Vispisiano: And that is a part of it. Like, what is the point of getting rid of traitors when you could just do it at the end?

[17:12] Phil Bracco: If you get rid of the traitors, more will be recruited.

[17:16] Anjelica Vispisiano: Well, so now they changed it. But they kind of essentially changed that.

[17:20] Phil Bracco: So now they're not being told at the end if they're like, they're not confirming if the traitors are amongst them.

[17:27] Anjelica Vispisiano: Yeah, but there's no show. And I'm confused about how they're going to do that.

[17:31] Phil Bracco: So they're going to tell them at the reunion with Andy Cohen. Like, I'm confused.

[17:34] Anjelica Vispisiano: Oh yeah. I didn't, I missed that, but I don't think that that's gonna affect.

[17:37] Phil Bracco: So Alan said, so when they're at the finale, they're not going to confirm if they're.

[17:45] Anjelica Vispisiano: Okay. So they'll do it at the reunion.

[17:46] Phil Bracco: Yeah.

[17:47] Anjelica Vispisiano: So then you're not going to know who wins.

[17:50] Phil Bracco: They won't know.

[17:50] Anjelica Vispisiano: I guess they won't until the reunion.

[17:53] Phil Bracco: But wait, here's what.

[17:56] Anjelica Vispisiano: It doesn't matter though, because they essentially did that every season. Even in your season, they didn't know how many traitors were left at the end.

[18:02] Phil Bracco: Right. Yeah, that's true.

[18:03] Anjelica Vispisiano: So like, they never really confirmed it at that moment for them.

[18:06] Phil Bracco: Yeah. It's definitely a flaw in the show. That and the challenges.

[18:10] Anjelica Vispisiano: This last challenge was so brutal.

[18:13] Phil Bracco: Brutal.

[18:14] Anjelica Vispisiano: What are you doing?

[18:15] Phil Bracco: Where are you going?

[18:15] Anjelica Vispisiano: I'm getting my phone.

[18:17] Phil Bracco: Why?

[18:17] Anjelica Vispisiano: Because there was something down there.

[18:19] Phil Bracco: Okay. Well.

[18:21] Anjelica Vispisiano: Yeah, it was so stupid. It was just picking doors. Even the first one. And the fact that they got no shields, no money. Like, I'm just so confused. I want to see them rolling in the mud. I want to see them rolling barrels up the hill. I forgot about that first boat challenge. Like, I would have been so pissed if I was on a raft. Not only did they not get all of the money. Like, obviously there was going to be some traitors on the rafts. You make my chance like one out of six. Like, to be murdered.

[18:49] Phil Bracco: Yeah.

[18:49] Anjelica Vispisiano: Like, that's fucked up. I would have been pissed. I didn't realize that if they got on the raft, they were the only option that could be murdered.

[18:58] Phil Bracco: Yeah, because he said it. Anyone that's standing on the shields at the end.

[19:02] Anjelica Vispisiano: Yeah. So that was all clear to them as they were volunteering on the raft. They knew that they were giving up protection.

[19:08] Phil Bracco: Yeah. The challenges need some work because.

[19:11] Anjelica Vispisiano: Yeah. Here's the other thing. They're trying to win money all along the way. At the end of the game, at the end of the season, they're going to just give them the money anyway.

[19:19] Phil Bracco: Were you just itching your armpit?

[19:21] Anjelica Vispisiano: Under.

[19:22] Phil Bracco: Over here.

[19:22] Anjelica Vispisiano: That's your armpit.

[19:23] Phil Bracco: No, and here's the armpit.

[19:25] Anjelica Vispisiano: I was down here.

[19:26] Phil Bracco: Oh, got it.

[19:28] Anjelica Vispisiano: At the end of the season. You got to shut that sound off. That was your computer, I think.

[19:34] Phil Bracco: Yeah, wasn't this.

[19:36] Anjelica Vispisiano: Okay, anyway. Well, all right, whatever. Um, I just think that, uh, at the end of the season, if there's not enough money, they're going to just like put all the money in the last challenge.

[19:48] Phil Bracco: No, they can't.

[19:49] Anjelica Vispisiano: They can't do that again.

[19:51] Phil Bracco: They can't.

[19:51] Anjelica Vispisiano: It's just annoying because the show has so much potential to not only be this fun, campy show that it is, but also the sickest strategic show that's on television too.

[20:01] Phil Bracco: I know.

[20:02] Anjelica Vispisiano: And they miss the mark with it. They just have to iron out a few details.

[20:04] Phil Bracco: John's like, get me on production. Get me on production. Like he has all these ideas.

[20:08] Anjelica Vispisiano: Because it's just like, there's so much potential. And I would have loved to have seen. Listen, in the early seasons of Big Brother, they completely changed the format. Like it takes a few seasons to iron out the details. I would have loved to have seen them meet. And they did that last season. They didn't do any changes this season. And I wish that they would have.

[20:27] Phil Bracco: I, we're missing that.

[20:28] Anjelica Vispisiano: Yep. A hundred percent. I mean, they did some changes. They brought in, they brought in the new players like that. I mean, there are some new things.

[20:35] Phil Bracco: Yeah.

[20:35] Anjelica Vispisiano: I mean, they bring in like.

[20:37] Phil Bracco: Twists.

[20:38] Anjelica Vispisiano: But we're not saying the show needs more twists. We're saying the format needs to be ironed out.

[20:43] Phil Bracco: Yeah.

[20:43] Anjelica Vispisiano: It's good. It needs, it needs some critiquing. That's it. There needs to be. The twists are fine. I, I'm loving the cast. I got to say as a whole, I'm loving the cast.

[20:53] Phil Bracco: Yeah, me too.

[20:54] Anjelica Vispisiano: Loving. They did an A plus job on the cast.

[20:57] Phil Bracco: Yeah.

[20:57] Anjelica Vispisiano: Even the people not on the main shows, they're really good.

[21:01] Phil Bracco: The ones that bring in.

[21:02] Anjelica Vispisiano: Yeah, like.

[21:03] Phil Bracco: Yeah.

[21:03] Anjelica Vispisiano: But they are going to run out of people eventually.

[21:06] Phil Bracco: You would think.

[21:07] Anjelica Vispisiano: No, there's not. Because look, there's new seasons of all of these shows every single year.

[21:11] Phil Bracco: What are you talking about?

[21:12] Anjelica Vispisiano: It's impossible.

[21:13] Phil Bracco: Yeah.

[21:14] Anjelica Vispisiano: Some of these shows have already 20 seasons under their belts.

[21:16] Phil Bracco: Right.

[21:16] Anjelica Vispisiano: And continue to have new seasons.

[21:18] Phil Bracco: I know, but, but iconic people like this. I mean, you had, you had Tony, Jeremy, they're all, Carolyn.

[21:23] Anjelica Vispisiano: No, of course they're all. It was a big hitting cast. And now, you know.

[21:26] Phil Bracco: They're going to keep it going. But look, like they throw some uniques in. Like, look at how good Dylan is.

[21:30] Anjelica Vispisiano: He's Zac Efron's brother.

[21:31] Phil Bracco: Right.

[21:32] Anjelica Vispisiano: Britney Spears' ex-husband.

[21:34] Phil Bracco: Please, with the curl. I can't.

[21:37] Anjelica Vispisiano: Sam Agari.

[21:38] Phil Bracco: The curl.

[21:39] Anjelica Vispisiano: He wears like the little John Travolta curl.

[21:41] Phil Bracco: Got it, got it.

[21:43] Anjelica Vispisiano: He's fine.

[21:44] Phil Bracco: No, he sucks.

[21:46] Anjelica Vispisiano: He's not fine. They got a royal.

[21:48] Phil Bracco: Right.

[21:49] Anjelica Vispisiano: He's fine. That person's fine. I do wish that they had like some celebrities and not just reality TV stars.

[21:57] Phil Bracco: Well, that's what they could start tipping into.

[21:59] Anjelica Vispisiano: Yeah, I think that would be really cool.

[22:01] Phil Bracco: Yeah.

[22:01] Anjelica Vispisiano: I could see like. Imagine if Britney was in too.

[22:04] Phil Bracco: No, I'm saying like I could see Sarah Hyland doing it next year. Like, Wells got out like for first banishment. Like, I'm here to beat him out. Like, yeah, I could see them starting to dip into celebrities.

[22:14] Anjelica Vispisiano: I mean, listen, Zac Efron's brother and Britney Spears' ex are.

[22:18] Phil Bracco: They're pretty big.

[22:19] Anjelica Vispisiano: They're pretty.

[22:20] Phil Bracco: Yeah, they are.

[22:21] Anjelica Vispisiano: I don't know.

[22:23] Phil Bracco: Yeah.

[22:23] Anjelica Vispisiano: Who would you say is the biggest known person in there?

[22:28] Phil Bracco: I feel like they, I feel like last year they were like tiers. This year, I feel like they're, again, very even playing fields. Everyone.

[22:36] Anjelica Vispisiano: Yeah.

[22:36] Phil Bracco: I feel like everyone's status is equivalent.

[22:40] Anjelica Vispisiano: Who's the guy who said the Carolyn?

[22:42] Phil Bracco: I think Boston Rob is what I would say.

[22:43] Anjelica Vispisiano: Boston Rob is.

[22:45] Phil Bracco: He's because early survivor days got millions of views.

[22:52] Anjelica Vispisiano: Okay, so you're saying like there was so many people that watched it.

[22:55] Phil Bracco: Yeah.

[22:56] Anjelica Vispisiano: And he came back on so many shows.

[22:58] Phil Bracco: Because like if I didn't have John, I wouldn't have even known his name.

[23:01] Anjelica Vispisiano: Right.

[23:02] Phil Bracco: And I'm a reality TV person.

[23:04] Anjelica Vispisiano: Yeah.

[23:04] Phil Bracco: Yeah. No.

[23:28] Anjelica Vispisiano: You think Brittany could have handled it though? Yeah. Yeah, she's really good. So good. She's good at reading people. She probably knows that Danielle's a traitor and is probably saying that in the diary, but they probably don't want to show that.

[23:47] Tommy Bracco: Yeah, too soon.

[23:49] Anjelica Vispisiano: Yeah, we'll say I can't wait. I know me too. Yes, even though the challenges suck and stuff, I am excited to see where the rest of the season goes. Like I am still like it is keeping my attention. Like the roundtables, I wish they would really, they need to start doing something online where they release the full footage. 100% everyone would die to see that. These things go on for two hours.

[24:06] Phil Bracco: Yeah, there's so much and it's just fighting for two hours. It's not like there's any low dead air.

[24:13] Anjelica Vispisiano: Right, for Tony. I know he got all teary-eyed. He was like, yeah, what is his accent? Is he like a Puerto Rican from New Jersey?

[24:19] Tommy Bracco: I think I actually think you hit the nail on the head.

[24:24] Anjelica Vispisiano: No, shut up, I really think he is. Actually, like the accent is so unique to me.

[24:32] Phil Bracco: Where is Tony from?

[24:36] Anjelica Vispisiano: Yeah, you yeah, I'm interested in myself. I think he is though.

[24:42] Tommy Bracco: From Puerto Rico, okay, New Jersey. He's from New Jersey. Now let's see his last name.

[24:48] Phil Bracco: Is he?

[24:49] Tommy Bracco: Yeah, I think it's like Gonzalez.

[24:56] Phil Bracco: No, no, he's a fireman.

[24:56] Tommy Bracco: Vlachos, yeah, so like some sort of like...

[25:01] Phil Bracco: Can you see if he's a fireman?

[25:01] Tommy Bracco: I believe he's something like that.

[25:07] Phil Bracco: Yeah, he's a fireman.

[25:07] Tommy Bracco: Yeah. Okay.

[25:07] Phil Bracco: Yeah.

[25:12] Anjelica Vispisiano: Um, are we done with trader stuff? Do you have any more notes?

[25:17] Tommy Bracco: Okay. No, I just wanted one more thing I want to say. Okay, you guys, you're talking about Wes, right? How good he was and stuff.

[25:23] Phil Bracco: Yeah, right.

[25:23] Tommy Bracco: He's great for the show. He just was on House of Villains. The guy is transforming himself away from the challenge and yeah, really good and everything he does.

[25:31] Phil Bracco: Yeah, but his origins will always be the challenge, right?

[25:32] Tommy Bracco: Yeah.

[25:32] Phil Bracco: Which no one watches.

[25:34] Anjelica Vispisiano: Stop, you're itching into the mic. That's crazy. Do you keep saying things like that?

[25:38] Phil Bracco: I mean, it gets less than 500,000 views per episode because you know why? I'll tell you why, it's too long of a season.

[25:44] Tommy Bracco: Right, so right and it's getting oversaturated now. They one after another they're coming on.

[25:50] Anjelica Vispisiano: So you agree with me?

[25:50] Phil Bracco: That's the only way. But the show itself is amazing, right?

[25:57] Tommy Bracco: Surviving Barstool just had one of the best episodes of reality TV that I've ever watched.

[26:01] Anjelica Vispisiano: I know, I need to start more physically on earth on the floor. I'm gonna watch that for the next one.

[26:07] Phil Bracco: All right.

[26:07] Anjelica Vispisiano: Yeah, it's so good. I have a show that I want everyone to watch. I know Mr. Beast's Beast Games. I was crying today.

[26:12] Phil Bracco: No, John's trying to get me to watch it. He's watching it. I didn't know that.

[26:18] Anjelica Vispisiano: All right, John's got him on next. I didn't know. I'm asking you started watching it without me.

[26:22] Phil Bracco: Uh-huh.

[26:22] Anjelica Vispisiano: Oh, you said John's trying to get me to watch it. I thought you meant like he's...

[26:26] Phil Bracco: No, no. No, he's like, let's watch this.

[26:29] Anjelica Vispisiano: Well, Mr. Beast is amazing.

[26:31] Phil Bracco: Yeah, he is.

[26:31] Anjelica Vispisiano: I didn't know anything. He's amazing and he's a genius. What I didn't know anything.

[26:36] Phil Bracco: I don't know nothing of a credible person and he's a genius.

[26:41] Anjelica Vispisiano: The last episode, there is this one girl. So first of all, they're competing for millions and millions and millions of dollars and in a random, like on this episode, they just gave away $450,000. Like someone, like they're constantly throwing other side deals. Like that's his thing.

[27:00] Phil Bracco: Yeah.

[27:00] Anjelica Vispisiano: They're constantly throwing like side deals at them and like other, like he'll walk in a place and literally hand a random person that smiles at him $450,000.

[27:07] Phil Bracco: Like sick.

[27:09] Anjelica Vispisiano: He's incredible. It is so much money. So the stakes are so high and we're getting to the point that you're getting to know the players because in the beginning you don't know them. There's so many writers that you don't know them.

[27:21] Phil Bracco: So that's not fun.

[27:21] Anjelica Vispisiano: It's like a version. It's like a happy version of Squid Games.

[27:26] Phil Bracco: A hundred percent.

[27:26] Anjelica Vispisiano: Okay, there. Now what they did was they had, so they're all competing. There's like 60 players left out of like they had like a thousand, something like that.

[27:35] Phil Bracco: 60 players left.

[27:35] Anjelica Vispisiano: They said, okay, so now you're all competing for five million dollars. There is a side quest. There's an island that is worth 1.8 million dollars. If you want to step forward and compete to win that island, you will, if you lose, you will be eliminated from the competition. But if you win, you win 1.8 million dollars. Nine people step forward and they compete for the island.

[28:02] Phil Bracco: Now only the winner of the island will get to continue for the five million.

[28:06] Anjelica Vispisiano: But in this competition on the island, it was just they played all these crazy games. Now they're down to two people who one of them are gonna win and I was hysterically crying watching this episode.

[28:18] Phil Bracco: Like someone's gonna win that a 1.8 million dollar island, but it's just nuts.

[28:23] Anjelica Vispisiano: It's so much. You gotta watch it and I'm falling in love with the players. It's amazing.

[28:29] Phil Bracco: Crying and like on the floor like you said, yeah, so I'm excited.

[28:33] Anjelica Vispisiano: I'm gonna watch Surviving Barstool for next week also, but everyone's got to watch Beast Games.

[28:37] Phil Bracco: Okay, I'll do it if you guys will love it as much as I do. I'm excited.

[28:41] Anjelica Vispisiano: And the traders, so are they gonna come out with like blocks of episodes or so?

[28:46] Tommy Bracco: They did the first three and now they're doing one, one, one, one like we told them to do with our season.

[28:53] Anjelica Vispisiano: Yeah, just kidding. I do wish that they came out with blocks. I like when there's, you can get a little more invested.

[28:58] Tommy Bracco: I can't wait to get you get another shot and I go when you do the boat the next time they do it.

[29:04] Anjelica Vispisiano: Oh, yes, Cruise of Deception.

[29:10] Phil Bracco: So, um, I am not going on the Cruise of Deception. I am pregnant and we'll have a child.

[29:13] Anjelica Vispisiano: Anyway, um, I'm not going on the Cruise of Deception.

[29:20] Phil Bracco: I'm not going on the Cruise of Deception.

[29:22] Anjelica Vispisiano: But I still think people should really look into it. You can go on CruiseofDeception.com. It's gonna be a really good time and I wish I was going so bad and I really hope we can go on the next one because it's like there's just, I want to see Uncle Phil play this game. I want to see John play this game, even though it's not being filmed. Like I feel like it's so...

[29:37] Phil Bracco: That they won't film it.

[29:37] Anjelica Vispisiano: I bet they maybe. I think it's just so fun to see how far you will go in this game and it's just a sped-up version while you're like going to these incredible islands. I think it's such a great idea. I'm so happy that they're doing it. A lot of my friends are going. Definitely look into it.

[29:58] Phil Bracco: Yeah.

[29:59] Anjelica Vispisiano: All the reality stars are gonna be there, number one. Number two, you get to compete in these games. Like I forgot, like Phaedra's going, like crazy. I know she, like there's just so many good...

[30:09] Tommy Bracco: I'm excited to see the Phaedra breakout star of this season. Like who's it gonna be, right?

[30:14] Anjelica Vispisiano: It's Carolyn, I love her so much. I'm a little worried because when they came out of the room, I know and Gabby's there. She's one of them going like this, like making out.

[30:24] Phil Bracco: So I'm a little worried for her because she's one of my favorites.

[30:30] Anjelica Vispisiano: Here's the thing with Carolyn. She's so off her rocker that people are not gonna be onto her because they're just gonna think that it's part of who she is.

[30:37] Phil Bracco: Well, that's like when she was lurking and walking around the halls of the house.

[30:42] Anjelica Vispisiano: How much longer am I gonna act like a crazy person for him?

[30:47] Phil Bracco: Somebody told her that. I don't know who was it.

[30:49] Anjelica Vispisiano: Oh, I felt bad when she pulled in Gabby and two other girls and she was like freaking out after breakfast and they walked away from her and she heard them talking about her.

[31:02] Phil Bracco: I missed that.

[31:02] Anjelica Vispisiano: You don't pay attention to anything ever. I'm not surprised.

[31:08] Phil Bracco: Everything I'm saying, he's a guest.

[31:08] Anjelica Vispisiano: Wait, yeah, so that's right about Carolyn, yeah, and she heard and she was all upset. She's talking to Jeremy.

[31:15] Tommy Bracco: Yeah, so Carolyn, they were in the bar room. She brought them in. She was just like so thrown off after breakfast when they murdered a little cute one.

[31:24] Anjelica Vispisiano: And she was like, I'm just like freaking out or whatever.

[31:28] Phil Bracco: But like she genuinely was because you knew she didn't want to murder her.

[31:34] Anjelica Vispisiano: Yeah, she was very against it, very against it.

[31:37] Phil Bracco: So Gabby and two other people, I don't know if it was Chrishell. I think it was like the Summer House girl, maybe.

[31:42] Anjelica Vispisiano: Anyway, so they walk away and they're like, oh my god, she's such a hot mess, like and said like two other things that Carolyn was standing right there and Jeremy walked in. She was like, I just heard them. They were talking about how I'm like a hot mess and like she felt so sad.

[31:56] Phil Bracco: She did that, right?

[31:56] Anjelica Vispisiano: She's different, but that's what makes her so amazing, right?

[32:01] Phil Bracco: Yeah, and one of the guys, it might be Dylan that you said, it's hard, but said I can't put my finger on you because you have these crazy emotions and stuff, but you're always the same.

[32:11] Anjelica Vispisiano: Yeah, so I don't know, was it Dylan? She's got these crazy expressions.

[32:17] Phil Bracco: I forget who it was. I remember that too.

[32:20] Anjelica Vispisiano: Here's the thing, like can we just like, I'm becoming like a Carolyn Stan account at this point, but can we just talk about how she's on a season with like all these big players from the Survivor world? Like Jeremy's been on so many seasons and Boston Rob and then you have her, she was on one season, that's it.

[32:40] Phil Bracco: Just keeping up.

[32:43] Anjelica Vispisiano: And she is like more than keeping up.

[32:46] Phil Bracco: Oh, she's so good.

[32:46] Anjelica Vispisiano: She's just such a personality. Like the fact that she was even asked to be on this after being on one Survivor season.

[32:52] Phil Bracco: Yes, in the late 40s.

[32:52] Anjelica Vispisiano: You want to know, like sometimes I feel like people really turn it on for the TV. Like she not only doesn't do that and you can tell it's so authentic and genuine.

[33:04] Phil Bracco: Yeah, she just is who she is.

[33:06] Anjelica Vispisiano: But like she also isn't that crazy like in the face of like she knows her place in the turret. Like she listens.

[33:14] Phil Bracco: She'll go against them and has no problem going against them.

[33:19] Anjelica Vispisiano: But at one point she's like, all right, how much am I gonna fight? Like, okay, whatever you guys want to do, even though I don't agree with it. Like I feel like a lot of people with her personality, you think she'd be like, like we're doing it my way. Like she's really good. Like she actually is kind of level-headed.

[33:33] Phil Bracco: Yeah, she is. She has good takes.

[33:33] Anjelica Vispisiano: She's level-headed. She's a little quirky. I love her.

[33:41] Phil Bracco: Yeah, I know. I'm obsessed.

[33:41] Anjelica Vispisiano: Wait, this is gonna be a super question and another points against me for not paying attention. What's the turret?

[33:47] Phil Bracco: We're talking three years.

[33:51] Anjelica Vispisiano: Yeah, that's serious. Where that should, where the traders meet in the castle?

[33:57] Phil Bracco: Oh, okay. I didn't know that.

[34:02] Anjelica Vispisiano: Yeah, I had no idea.

[34:02] Phil Bracco: I'm sure about that little like...

[34:07] Anjelica Vispisiano: Yeah.

[34:07] Phil Bracco: Yeah, that's the turret.

[34:14] Anjelica Vispisiano: Okay, yes, I feel like I've been seeing the turret come up a lot and I'm like, is that like their alliance name? Like what's the...

[34:19] Phil Bracco: No, no, no, it's where they meet, where the traders meet.

[34:24] Anjelica Vispisiano: What, should they change location this year?

[34:27] Phil Bracco: Now upstairs instead of downstairs.

[34:31] Anjelica Vispisiano: Yeah, interesting, interesting.

[34:34] Phil Bracco: Well, I'm excited that we're back. This is great.

[34:40] Anjelica Vispisiano: So I just want to let you guys know that I gotta be a little more regimented this year for the season for us because I am talking scheduling.

[34:46] Tommy Bracco: Yeah, because I have...

[34:46] Phil Bracco: Listen, I gotta work in the city now three days a week.

[34:52] Anjelica Vispisiano: But why aren't you telling us this or podcast?

[34:54] Phil Bracco: Well, yeah.

[34:54] Tommy Bracco: Oh, because he thinks like his work people listen, that's why.

[34:58] Phil Bracco: He's so happy he got that out.

[35:01] Anjelica Vispisiano: I actually want to cut that.

[35:02] Phil Bracco: I actually want to cut that out.

[35:04] Anjelica Vispisiano: He's so annoying.

[35:09] Tommy Bracco: All right, ready? We're out of here. One, two, three.
