[0:00] Tommy Bracco: Hi, everyone. It's Tommy and Anjelica. And I'm Phil. And you are listening to Real Tawk. Dad, I miss when you used to do like the intro with the other language. Why'd you stop that?
[0:09] Phil Bracco: I ran out of languages.
[0:12] Anjelica Vispisiano: What are you dropping?
[0:16] Phil Bracco: I dropped my phone. Konichiwa.
[0:23] Anjelica Vispisiano: So close. So close.
[0:28] Phil Bracco: Yeah. And no, you say you're like, my name is yes. And I'm Phil or something like that.
[0:32] Tommy Bracco: That was the first year. And did you ever do Russian?
[0:36] Phil Bracco: I don't know. I did. I ran out of languages, though. I couldn't find it.
[0:39] Anjelica Vispisiano: No, there's no way you ran out of languages. You just stopped doing it. There's too many languages for you to run out.
[0:43] Phil Bracco: If people want me to do it again, I'll do it again.
[0:46] Anjelica Vispisiano: Yes, we do.
[0:51] Tommy Bracco: Well, listen, I want to start off by saying I stand corrected. Two weeks ago, I was anti this season. And I'm loving it now.
[0:56] Anjelica Vispisiano: Yeah, I'm in. I'm in. It's great.
[1:01] Tommy Bracco: Why? You don't feel that way?
[1:05] Anjelica Vispisiano: No, I think you're a little low.
[1:07] Tommy Bracco: You think I'm low?
[1:12] Anjelica Vispisiano: Yeah. All right. And I could just hold it and I won't be low. Is this better?
[1:15] Tommy Bracco: Oh, way better. Okay. Okay, cool. So now that we got that settled, and I'm loving the season we addressed one. But actually, we should have said something before even that.
[1:18] Phil Bracco: What?
[1:23] Tommy Bracco: This is a very exciting episode. Because we have for the first time, we have a very special guest on the podcast. None other than Roman.
[1:26] Anjelica Vispisiano: Let's hear him breathe.
[1:39] Phil Bracco: He was snoring. Stop.
[1:45] Tommy Bracco: Hey, you hear that?
[1:52] Anjelica Vispisiano: Yeah, you're so cute. So little five-week-old Roman is hanging out with us. He's on the podcast today. I couldn't find his Real Tawk onesie. I think it's like a bigger size. But I put on a shirt that says going to nap so mommy can watch reality TV. And I did in fact watch reality TV while he napped.
[2:06] Phil Bracco: Yeah. Just outside.
[2:10] Anjelica Vispisiano: Oh my gosh. Yeah, he's so cute. We're obsessed with him.
[2:13] Tommy Bracco: Yeah. So he's here chilling.
[2:19] Anjelica Vispisiano: Yeah. Anyway, yes, I am loving this cast. I'm loving that. They're all bad.
[2:23] Tommy Bracco: They are all bad. That's why I just said to him before Zach not knowing that he should pin two people up against each other that he doesn't want to win weight HOH was insane.
[2:28] Anjelica Vispisiano: And the fact that he's wait, even if you've never watched Big Brother, don't you have a brain? Don't you have common sense?
[2:34] Tommy Bracco: I know. The fact that he's a real contender to win this thing too. And then he made that mistake. Now he's not gonna win.
[2:41] Anjelica Vispisiano: He's not winning. And how about nobody picks Ava until the end? So? And then so she skates by and then wins.
[2:55] Tommy Bracco: Yeah, that was great. And then she has the most savage HOH out of anyone.
[2:59] Anjelica Vispisiano: No, literally. I loved when she was like, my rule for the week is no one on ones. If I want to talk to you, I'll talk to you.
[3:04] Tommy Bracco: That was great. Great. Or you can't use my bathroom and you can't drink my wine.
[3:10] Anjelica Vispisiano: As she fucking should like as she should say. You know, what's funny actually, I really think that because of the way that she looks and presents herself the outfit that she wears, her quirkiness, she's playing so cutthroat. But I don't think she's making that many enemies this week.
[3:28] Tommy Bracco: I actually think she's getting away with it. And it's because I think people are more forgiving because of the way that she presents herself.
[3:34] Anjelica Vispisiano: Yes, I completely agree with that. If a man did what she's doing, they would be a major savage threat, like, holy Toledo, get them out right now. They need to be the next target. But I actually think she's making the most savage move that we've seen.
[3:58] Tommy Bracco: Yeah, she's making the most like, wild, bold move.
[4:03] Anjelica Vispisiano: I'm so sad. I really wish it was Ashley instead of Zack up there on the block.
[4:06] Tommy Bracco: Why? Tell us why.
[4:08] Anjelica Vispisiano: Because I hate Ashley.
[4:10] Tommy Bracco: Why?
[4:12] Anjelica Vispisiano: She's so literally so simple.
[4:14] Phil Bracco: All right, so Ashley did a couple of really funny things and dumb things, right? I mean, never saw somebody try to change their vote before. And the way she did it, Julie's going, no, no, no, no. That was great. Loved it. Loved it.
[4:29] Tommy Bracco: Right. But that's great TV, right?
[4:33] Anjelica Vispisiano: It's great TV, but I don't think she plans it. It just happens.
[4:34] Phil Bracco: She's just annoying. I just I don't know.
[4:36] Anjelica Vispisiano: And then she tells Will that she's a lawyer.
[4:42] Phil Bracco: Yes.
[4:42] Anjelica Vispisiano: Why? Tell Will.
[4:44] Phil Bracco: Yeah, that was a bad move. Definitely.
[4:47] Anjelica Vispisiano: Although Will is keeping the other secret because he knows that she's the other vote.
[4:51] Tommy Bracco: Yeah, I do think she can trust Will, but you never know how things change in this game. We're still in the early stages.
[4:57] Anjelica Vispisiano: We're probably like 40 days into an 83-day game.
[5:04] Tommy Bracco: That's halfway.
[5:05] Anjelica Vispisiano: Actually, maybe like 30 something days. It's like week four. So we're like, a little less than halfway. A lot can change. Look at how much changes since the beginning of the game.
[5:15] Tommy Bracco: I mean, Riley wins HOH and then he doesn't.
[5:19] Anjelica Vispisiano: Mm hmm. Yeah.
[5:20] Phil Bracco: That's that was also
[5:21] Tommy Bracco: that was his way of recapping. He snuck that in.
[5:23] Anjelica Vispisiano: No, no, like, wasn't that an important thing for the week?
[5:26] Phil Bracco: No, it's not.
[5:27] Tommy Bracco: I think it was. Mickey stealing his HOH.
[5:29] Anjelica Vispisiano: You talked about that already.
[5:31] Phil Bracco: That was last week. And it's old news.
[5:33] Tommy Bracco: And Jimmy going home?
[5:35] Anjelica Vispisiano: Yes, Jimmy went home.
[5:39] Phil Bracco: Oh, we didn't talk about Jimmy bringing you up during his eviction speech. That was so cool.
[5:45] Tommy Bracco: So let me tell everyone like, yeah, like paint the picture of how that happened. So we were all at Angelica's house watching the episode, the Thursday night episode, and he made his speech and he mentioned me and my heart fell into my stomach. And I was like, so like shocked.
[6:01] Anjelica Vispisiano: And then we all just like, we're like, I don't know, like, you you said something to me.
[6:08] Tommy Bracco: It was very cute. It was. I can't believe that he did that. I was truly honored. I really was. It was such a cool moment as like a fan of the show that he brought me up and and what he said to write that I that I was influential or whatever it was like, yeah, it made an impact on the way that he saw the game.
[6:26] Anjelica Vispisiano: That was so cool.
[6:30] Tommy Bracco: Yeah, that was so I liked that moment. I think he's got I'm sad. He's gone.
[6:33] Anjelica Vispisiano: He's gonna be a future guest.
[6:37] Tommy Bracco: He's not only Yes, of course, but we got to get him back. Like, we need him back on the show or something. That's I want to see more of him.
[6:41] Anjelica Vispisiano: I stand by what I said. He was doing he wasn't being authentic in week two. And then actually going on the block and going out the way he did. We actually did him a favor because it stripped him down of all the showmanship and just like took him back to his authentic self and that he loved.
[7:01] Tommy Bracco: Yeah. So big Jimmy fan. He was on a big brother on on locked.
[7:07] Anjelica Vispisiano: Yeah, he was on and it was kind of funny because the guy from Oh, what's his name? Jerry O'Connell.
[7:13] Phil Bracco: Jerry O'Connell was wearing team cut Keanu and he came out and goes like this and I can't hug you.
[7:21] Anjelica Vispisiano: Yeah, that's funny. So quick. So witty, smart, sharp.
[7:26] Tommy Bracco: So I think he's gonna miss him and Rachel fighting.
[7:30] Anjelica Vispisiano: Fighting. Yeah, you know, they're best with each other. The fake fights were funny.
[7:33] Phil Bracco: Yeah.
[7:38] Anjelica Vispisiano: Rachel, that's kind of disgusting looking.
[7:42] Phil Bracco: Yeah, he was great. And then she did you see that she got slimed?
[7:47] Anjelica Vispisiano: Yeah, she got good.
[7:53] Phil Bracco: She got good. But the icon that she is took it in stride.
[7:57] Anjelica Vispisiano: Yeah, and was laughing. And then she slipped and fell.
[8:00] Tommy Bracco: Yep. Then had to get up.
[8:04] Phil Bracco: Why is he recapping?
[8:07] Anjelica Vispisiano: He's just he's just he's actually so all over the place. And it's just Yeah, a desperate attempt to recap.
[8:10] Tommy Bracco: Yeah, touch all these things that happened.
[8:13] Anjelica Vispisiano: Yes. Let's just talk about what you feel.
[8:16] Tommy Bracco: All right. Like I said, and then she fell and then she got back up. And then she fell again.
[8:21] Anjelica Vispisiano: And she got slimed. I was telling you. I said the iconic person that she is.
[8:24] Tommy Bracco: Yeah.
[8:30] Anjelica Vispisiano: Okay. So that's, you know, tell us about who, what you think about Ava's nominations this week?
[8:33] Tommy Bracco: I thought I'm a little sick of seeing Keanu up there.
[8:36] Anjelica Vispisiano: Okay. I think that eventually, somebody's got to say enough's enough. I mean, at this point, they're just building his profile. Honestly, right?
[8:41] Tommy Bracco: Yeah.
[8:45] Anjelica Vispisiano: But he's got to escape again. Right. He's got to try to escape there. He's not the target this week.
[8:48] Tommy Bracco: Eventually, it will catch up to him. I mean, I feel like they've made all the house guys have made it pretty clear that like Keanu is not the target that he's not going home.
[8:53] Anjelica Vispisiano: Yep.
[8:56] Phil Bracco: I mean, Tucker, it caught up to him.
[8:59] Anjelica Vispisiano: Right?
[9:02] Tommy Bracco: Yeah. But Tucker was playing different. Keanu is only doing what he has to do in his because his backs against the right to survive.
[9:08] Anjelica Vispisiano: I love how Ava told him. I mean, who Ava? She told him. You know, you're not I'm not the one that stood there and said, I'm going to get out each and every one of you. I'm going to pick you off one by one by one, right?
[9:14] Tommy Bracco: So I mean, telling basically why you're on the block that bothers me so much that be that whole thing, because that's the point of the game.
[9:20] Anjelica Vispisiano: I know, but it's still a crazy way to say it. I get it like I like Keanu, but I get being annoyed at that I won.
[9:32] Tommy Bracco: At that point in the game, they were just looking at reasons to target someone target someone enemy.
[9:39] Anjelica Vispisiano: Yes, number one. Number two, it's just a crazy thing to say. Yes, it's the point of the game. But also the point of the game is creating alliances and building relationships. And like, you can't get there by yourself. You can't get to the end by yourself.
[9:49] Tommy Bracco: And he's trying to build relationships now, right?
[9:52] Anjelica Vispisiano: But it always backfires. He ends up in an argument.
[9:56] Phil Bracco: Yes, buddy.
[10:00] Anjelica Vispisiano: Yeah. You know, did you see the clip when Rachel said that he peed on the bathroom tile?
[10:03] Tommy Bracco: Yeah, and was cleaning it up.
[10:06] Anjelica Vispisiano: I actually am obsessed with their relationship. They fight like brother and sister. And then he was actually like Jimmy left and she was crying.
[10:12] Tommy Bracco: Yeah, it was really cute. I like them.
[10:16] Anjelica Vispisiano: And then he says, I got Rachel.
[10:21] Tommy Bracco: To everybody else.
[10:23] Anjelica Vispisiano: Like, right, like, she's like, yeah, that's a little delusional.
[10:27] Tommy Bracco: Oh, I'm Rachel crying and saying, like, is it me? Like, am I like, why do all my beautiful?
[10:31] Anjelica Vispisiano: She's the kiss of death.
[10:33] Tommy Bracco: Oh, yeah. That's amazing. I think she was gonna go up.
[10:37] Anjelica Vispisiano: She was not actually.
[10:39] Tommy Bracco: Yeah. So what do you think? Ava's HOH her noms good move or bad move?
[10:48] Anjelica Vispisiano: I mean, I really don't know. Like, well, it's so hard to tell until you see how it shakes.
[10:53] Tommy Bracco: I mean, I got Yeah, like, until you see how it ends up. But like, would you have done that if you were in her position?
[11:00] Anjelica Vispisiano: No, I would have put up Ashley, right? I would be like, you're annoying. You're going up. But she was trying to do that.
[11:05] Tommy Bracco: And then Ashley would have went home.
[11:08] Anjelica Vispisiano: Mickey was actually wouldn't have won anything. And she would have went home.
[11:11] Tommy Bracco: You're 100% right. But then that other side of the house is just unreal.
[11:14] Anjelica Vispisiano: I love her so much. She's my number one.
[11:19] Tommy Bracco: So she was a terrible HOH.
[11:23] Anjelica Vispisiano: Right? I didn't think so. I thought she had a pretty successful a person on her watch on our side.
[11:27] Tommy Bracco: But it doesn't matter if he was on her side. He was a huge, like person that had a profile to win.
[11:31] Phil Bracco: Listen, a resume.
[11:37] Tommy Bracco: I agree. I'm actually totally with you. But we are on an island. Most people disagree with us. They think it was the worst move that he that she
[11:45] Anjelica Vispisiano: Why is everyone is she in everyone's mouth that now she's this big target?
[11:49] Tommy Bracco: No, no, no, I agree. Who cares? Like, she has numbers either way.
[11:53] Anjelica Vispisiano: Like, I know, I agree. I feel like it's looking at things very surface to say Mickey shouldn't have got out.
[12:03] Tommy Bracco: Jimmy. I think that he was as much as I love him. And I wanted him to stay. He wasn't a reliable ally, because he was playing all sides of the house, which is the point of the game.
[12:13] Anjelica Vispisiano: Everybody's doing that. But he was doing it harder than everyone else. He was playing really every single side. So he's not a reliable ally in that sense. And he's a threat. And it strengthened her other relationships. She didn't by taking a shot at someone else, she would have been losing her ally in Morgan. And I think that her relationship with Morgan was too. And not only that she hurt because she wasn't Jimmy's number one. I feel like Jimmy was closer with Rachel, Rachel and Morgan.
[12:48] Tommy Bracco: I guess, no. Jimmy was playing all sides of the house. He was. And that's why everybody was talking. She almost took out the house's common enemy because everybody agreed that he was a target. So by taking out Jimmy, it almost allowed her to play the middle a little longer is the way I see it. Even though he was a number for her. He is totally a number for her, but he was everyone else's on their target list.
[13:16] Anjelica Vispisiano: But a number for her in what scenario? A number for her?
[13:20] Tommy Bracco: He was the most loyal to Triple Threat, I think, out of all his alliances.
[13:24] Anjelica Vispisiano: No, but I'm saying like a number...
[13:25] Tommy Bracco: She doesn't know that.
[13:26] Anjelica Vispisiano: Right, but we're how far away from a lot can happen until you're getting to a point where you need two other people to vote along with you? Like a number for like what? Like the house isn't split in half. It's not like the house is like...
[13:43] Tommy Bracco: I don't know. I honestly, I think that you do need numbers. That's how I feel at this point. I think you do because it's not like there are clear divides. It's kind of fluid.
[13:55] Anjelica Vispisiano: But that's why I'm saying you don't need numbers right now.
[13:58] Tommy Bracco: No, that's why you do because say someone is on the block that you want to try and save, you need people in your corner to vote the way that you want.
[14:10] Anjelica Vispisiano: I think that numbers are important. I do.
[14:11] Tommy Bracco: Yeah, I guess.
[14:12] Anjelica Vispisiano: But I still think that it wasn't a bad move.
[14:15] Tommy Bracco: Yeah, I hear you.
[14:16] Anjelica Vispisiano: As much as I wanted Jimmy to stay.
[14:17] Tommy Bracco: Yeah, I agree with that.
[14:19] Anjelica Vispisiano: But we are alone. Everybody else disagrees.
[14:21] Tommy Bracco: No, I don't. It's just not that deep. She's not a target. Like she's good. She strengthens her other relationships. Like it's just not that deep.
[14:30] Anjelica Vispisiano: Yeah. I love Ava's HOH move. I think that it was really ballsy to put up Vince, Zach, and Keanu. I really would like for Zach to use his power, take himself off the block and her put Morgan up.
[14:47] Tommy Bracco: Wait, what's Zach's power?
[14:49] Anjelica Vispisiano: So Zach won a power. I honestly forgot to. Zach won a power in week one. He gets $10,000. Or he can take himself off the block and give the $10,000 to the HOH at that point. So he can take himself off the block.
[15:05] Phil Bracco: Oh, what a jump scare.
[15:08] Anjelica Vispisiano: Joey! That was horrifying.
[15:10] Tommy Bracco: Oh my God. And he's just smiling like that. Hi, Joey.
[15:13] Anjelica Vispisiano: That was so scary.
[15:14] Tommy Bracco: Do you want to come in? Joey just was staring at us with a huge smile from the window.
[15:19] Anjelica Vispisiano: That was crazy.
[15:20] Tommy Bracco: Okay. So how long can he decide to do this for?
[15:23] Anjelica Vispisiano: I think he, it will, I honestly don't know. I think it's pre-Joey.
[15:26] Tommy Bracco: Hi, Joey.
[15:27] Anjelica Vispisiano: I think it was pre-Joey.
[15:29] Tommy Bracco: So he could either keep the $10,000 or give the $10,000 to the HOH and take himself off the block.
[15:34] Anjelica Vispisiano: What do you do at this point?
[15:36] Tommy Bracco: I think you take yourself off the block 100%.
[15:39] Anjelica Vispisiano: And then she gets the $10,000.
[15:40] Tommy Bracco: Because let's be real, it's really $5,000.
[15:42] Anjelica Vispisiano: No.
[15:43] Tommy Bracco: No, I'm saying like after taxes and stuff.
[15:48] Anjelica Vispisiano: If you don't win, then you're not taxed that much for like prize money.
[15:53] Tommy Bracco: Oh, it's not as...
[15:54] Anjelica Vispisiano: I don't know. I don't know how to put it, but like...
[15:57] Tommy Bracco: If you're not working, you're not going to get taxed anything.
[15:59] Anjelica Vispisiano: No, no, no, no. That's not what...
[16:02] Tommy Bracco: Of course, $10,000 is below the number that you start getting taxed.
[16:07] Anjelica Vispisiano: Like what it is, is when you win a, like I think I got like, I forget, but like $15,000, let's just say, or $17,000 when I did Big Brother and I got to Final Five. I didn't get taxed that much.
[16:20] Tommy Bracco: But like if you won the $500,000 at that time, you get taxed a lot.
[16:24] Phil Bracco: All right. Well, whatever.
[16:26] Tommy Bracco: So...
[16:27] Phil Bracco: I got to straighten you two out because of taxes, okay?
[16:31] Tommy Bracco: You're saying you're taxed is what they take out, right?
[16:35] Phil Bracco: That's not tax. Tax is when you're doing income tax.
[16:38] Tommy Bracco: Right, but that's taxes too.
[16:41] Phil Bracco: So...
[16:42] Anjelica Vispisiano: I am not... My brain's not there today.
[16:45] Tommy Bracco: Oh my gosh. What do you think, Roman?
[16:52] Anjelica Vispisiano: You can't hear anything.
[16:53] Tommy Bracco: Oh, I love him. He breathes very quiet in the day, but not at the nights.
[16:57] Anjelica Vispisiano: At the nights, he breathes crazy.
[17:01] Tommy Bracco: He makes a lot of crazy sounds.
[17:02] Anjelica Vispisiano: You always talk about that.
[17:03] Tommy Bracco: He was cycling through them last night, like as if I had him on shuffle, like as if I had different sounds on shuffle.
[17:08] Anjelica Vispisiano: Please record that.
[17:09] Tommy Bracco: Yeah, I will. I need to hear that.
[17:11] Anjelica Vispisiano: Oh, he's so cute.
[17:12] Tommy Bracco: Yeah, he's crazy. So...
[17:14] Anjelica Vispisiano: Ava's nominations.
[17:15] Tommy Bracco: So I would like if Zach takes himself off the block and we get to see Morgan go up. I think that'd be a lot of fun.
[17:23] Anjelica Vispisiano: And then what happens when somebody else wins the video?
[17:25] Tommy Bracco: But why not Ashley?
[17:27] Anjelica Vispisiano: They convinced her that hard that like Ashley's not even a thought process.
[17:31] Tommy Bracco: Here's why. Ashley's part of the underdog side of the house, so I don't want her to go.
[17:37] Anjelica Vispisiano: No, but I'm saying why is Ashley still not a thought for a replacement nom for Ava?
[17:44] Tommy Bracco: It would be Morgan because Morgan's part of that group. And since she already took the shot at that group, she wants to keep it within that group. They told her basically like if you put up Ashley, you're just getting rid of a number on your underdog side.
[17:57] Anjelica Vispisiano: Even though you don't trust Ashley, the way that the house fell, the dynamic is falling. She's a number on your side.
[18:07] Tommy Bracco: Yeah, that makes sense.
[18:08] Anjelica Vispisiano: So they would just take...
[18:10] Tommy Bracco: So if that makes sense, then Jimmy had to make sense for her not to put up.
[18:17] Anjelica Vispisiano: I agree with you. I'm not saying that.
[18:19] Tommy Bracco: No, you agree with her. You said that Angelica, you two on a separate island, that you agree with her.
[18:25] Anjelica Vispisiano: I don't see how.
[18:27] Tommy Bracco: It's a number on their side.
[18:29] Phil Bracco: You feel...
[18:38] Anjelica Vispisiano: His breathing's getting a little heavier. Roman speaks.
[18:40] Tommy Bracco: It sounded like a dog.
[18:47] Anjelica Vispisiano: So anyway, I'm loving it. It's really interesting. What do you think about the whole Zach, Morgan, Lauren thing?
[18:54] Tommy Bracco: I care way more about...
[18:57] Anjelica Vispisiano: Oh, stupid.
[18:58] Tommy Bracco: I love it. Morgan's being so weird about it. First off, I saw Morgan and him on the hammock, and she asked him, like, are you stringing me along for the game?
[19:05] Anjelica Vispisiano: Yeah.
[19:09] Tommy Bracco: Where? Where did he even attempt to string you along even one time?
[19:12] Anjelica Vispisiano: I know, she's just... You literally have a normal friendship, the two of you. Actually, anytime she tries to talk to him about non-game related stuff, he literally walks away.
[19:21] Tommy Bracco: He actually couldn't be stringing her along less.
[19:27] Anjelica Vispisiano: It's stupid.
[19:28] Tommy Bracco: It's stupid.
[19:29] Anjelica Vispisiano: She's just trying to connect. What I'm more concerned about is how skeevy Riley and Catherine's kiss was, because his teeth are just disgusting.
[19:39] Tommy Bracco: What?
[19:43] Anjelica Vispisiano: He's stretching, and it's cute. He fully extended his arm.
[19:48] Tommy Bracco: Oh, good morning.
[19:52] Anjelica Vispisiano: Yeah, no, Riley and Catherine, I just, I can't wrap my head around it. I can't wrap my head around it.
[20:00] Tommy Bracco: I was on your side.
[20:02] Anjelica Vispisiano: Oh, of what?
[20:03] Tommy Bracco: With that. Riley and Catherine. I was, like, saying that they gotta get him out of the house. It's not right.
[20:09] Anjelica Vispisiano: Oh, what? You're changing now, because Catherine's into it.
[20:12] Tommy Bracco: I mean... She's, like, Stockholm Syndrome or something. I don't know.
[20:15] Phil Bracco: But this is the problem that men have. The woman says, no, it's no, but then it's not really no.
[20:21] Anjelica Vispisiano: Okay, so we were having this argument. Tell me if you agree. I don't remember what your take on it. Is it less creepy if the person's really good looking? Like, I feel like I wouldn't feel this way about Riley if he was really good looking.
[20:38] Tommy Bracco: It shouldn't matter.
[20:39] Anjelica Vispisiano: The look shouldn't matter. It's fucked up, but I feel like that's true.
[20:42] Tommy Bracco: No, but it shouldn't matter, because it's up to the person who's being, right?
[20:46] Anjelica Vispisiano: But I'm saying, like, would I be repulsed by their relationship if they were two good looking people? Probably not.
[20:52] Tommy Bracco: I think Catherine's gorgeous.
[20:53] Anjelica Vispisiano: Probably not. I think Catherine's stunning. I think Riley's hard to look at.
[20:55] Tommy Bracco: I think he's skeevy, but maybe he's skeevier because he's creepy. I don't know.
[21:01] Anjelica Vispisiano: No, his teeth are bad.
[21:04] Tommy Bracco: His teeth are bad.
[21:05] Anjelica Vispisiano: Right. No, my first impression of him was, whoa, that's a funny looking guy. His eyes are on opposite sides of his head.
[21:10] Tommy Bracco: Yes, yes, yes.
[21:11] Anjelica Vispisiano: His parents look like they're cousins, right.
[21:13] Tommy Bracco: Yeah.
[21:14] Anjelica Vispisiano: You what?
[21:17] Tommy Bracco: I love when he speaks.
[21:26] Anjelica Vispisiano: So I don't know. I just feel like I'm really, I'm very, I don't know how I feel about the two of them, because on one hand, her actions are, I feel like she's giving, I feel like she's not just giving him mixed messages, but us as viewers mixed messages too.
[21:47] Tommy Bracco: But she's literally not. She's actually going in the DR and is like, oh, we're having cute little kids. Like she's into it.
[21:52] Anjelica Vispisiano: I know, but people just can't believe it. So that's why we're feeling mixed.
[21:56] Tommy Bracco: No, I really don't. Even her DRs, maybe it's just me, but I'm like, she doesn't really feel that way. She's lying. She does not feel that way.
[22:03] Phil Bracco: He's out cold.
[22:14] Anjelica Vispisiano: Oh, they do?
[22:15] Tommy Bracco: Yeah.
[22:16] Anjelica Vispisiano: He's waking up.
[22:17] Tommy Bracco: Oh, okay. So yeah, I just feel like we're getting mixed messages. I can't tell if she is just in a situation. I feel like that was just me in denial.
[22:29] Anjelica Vispisiano: Wait, here's my question. I won't do it.
[22:31] Tommy Bracco: Hold on. Imagine you're in a house with somebody and they're obsessed with you.
[22:36] Anjelica Vispisiano: Okay.
[22:37] Tommy Bracco: Ready? They're obsessed with you and you're not into them, but you're playing a game. What are you supposed to do?
[22:43] Anjelica Vispisiano: Right. What are you supposed to do?
[22:46] Tommy Bracco: Up to the kiss that she initiated. Even her kiss. It's a pack. She's not going to DR and being like, I'm in love.
[22:52] Anjelica Vispisiano: Yeah, I don't know because I'm somebody that I physically wouldn't be able to stomach even like being around that person if I wasn't into it.
[23:01] Tommy Bracco: Some people maybe can. Some people maybe can be that way, but it's hard for me to say. I just don't know if she actually really is into it or not. I can't tell.
[23:10] Anjelica Vispisiano: I think she got a little more into it when he basically protected her last week. She's seen her face. She was smiling.
[23:17] Tommy Bracco: But that's what makes me think it's maybe game. You know what I'm saying?
[23:21] Anjelica Vispisiano: Right. You have a person in here that literally is willing to throw away their game for your game.
[23:27] Tommy Bracco: Right. How do you not? But then you don't want to go in the DR and be like, I'm totally using him either. That's so fucked up.
[23:34] Anjelica Vispisiano: She's probably just in the house. I don't think that she's as into it.
[23:39] Tommy Bracco: But the fact that, I mean, listen, I don't know. One, I didn't feel like she didn't have to kiss him at that point. Like it's not like she was like, let me just come from her.
[23:46] Anjelica Vispisiano: He leaned in first.
[23:50] Tommy Bracco: No. Really?
[23:52] Anjelica Vispisiano: No. Not in the bathroom. In the bathroom. She literally was sitting up and he was laying down and she full body leans over and went in for a kiss because he was asking to cuddle and she goes, I can't do that. And then she went, I can do this basically and gave him a kiss.
[24:10] Tommy Bracco: I don't know.
[24:11] Anjelica Vispisiano: Yeah. I, like I said, it's just, it's really, it's just really tough for, for guys. That's the bottom line.
[24:19] Tommy Bracco: Yeah. You get, you don't know what the messages are.
[24:22] Phil Bracco: Um.
[24:23] Anjelica Vispisiano: Okay. He's so stupid. We've got a couple of questions.
[24:26] Tommy Bracco: Like, you don't know what the messages are from who and like, how do you know that?
[24:32] Anjelica Vispisiano: Yeah. Like you have been happily married for a billion years. What does that got to do with anything?
[24:35] Tommy Bracco: She's saying no. No, I don't want to do that. I don't want to do that. But then she's hugging him.
[24:41] Anjelica Vispisiano: Yeah. But I'm saying the scene that we looked at last week.
[24:44] Tommy Bracco: Wait, no, this is going in like a weird direction. Just stop where you are now.
[24:49] Anjelica Vispisiano: No, it's weird because you compared it to your own life. That's what it is.
[24:52] Tommy Bracco: Yeah.
[24:53] Anjelica Vispisiano: You said like, this is what happens with the guys.
[24:54] Phil Bracco: He was just saying this.
[24:55] Tommy Bracco: So just let him stop.
[24:57] Anjelica Vispisiano: Okay. What was he saying?
[24:59] Tommy Bracco: Oh, you weren't listening. He was saying like, she's saying no, she's saying no. But then like, no, just don't even.
[25:08] Anjelica Vispisiano: The scene that we were talking about, right? That should have been enough to say, get away from me. And it wasn't.
[25:15] Tommy Bracco: But why? My question is, you said-
[25:37] Anjelica Vispisiano: You guys are talking in code. What did he do when he had a boner?
[25:43] Tommy Bracco: No, no, it was just a gross scene. Like I feel it feeds where they were like he had his hands in between her legs, but like nothing, no movement or anything. He was just like rubbing her thigh or whatever, I guess, and they had the blanket underneath. So she was like, "I'm gonna get up now," and so she got up and like the blanket came with her, and he was like, "You can't do that." And she like looked at him confused, and the blanket was off him, and he like grabbed his boner, looked at her and was like, "Oh, I need to be covered." But like he grabbed it uncovered to show her like, "Look, I'm hard."
[26:44] Anjelica Vispisiano: Yeah, it was gross. I thought he pulled his pants away so she can see. I don't know, he just left it uncovered. He made it like he needed to be covered but didn't grab it and cover himself because he wanted her to see that he was.
[27:01] Tommy Bracco: Yeah, yeah, he's so at that point I was like they got to get her out of the house, get him out of the house. And then it was, what do you do if you're her and you're like, "I'm stuck in this house with this person." So you make out with him or not make out but kiss him. Honestly, like we talk about Joey, I'm gonna go off on a tangent right now, but stay with me. We compare it to like, you know, sexual misconduct in the workplace. Like that's the same reason why if you're a higher-up, you can't be with an employee that's underneath unless it's reported to HR because the dynamics can create a gray area. It's the same thing in the house. They're literally playing a game alongside each other. They need each other in the game. How is she supposed to like feel comfortable saying, "I'm sorry, but this is a no for me," if she did feel that way?
[27:58] Anjelica Vispisiano: I think that if she did, I would, yeah, I think you're insane. I would literally just be like, "I just view you as a friend. I love you to death, but like I'm just not..." All I'm saying is, yes, yes, but all I'm saying is it is possible that she is feeling weird and just because they're playing a game together. And I think it's more of the thing of like why co-workers cheat together. Like it's called something. It's literally a scientific term and it has something to do with proximity, like something like that. I think it's just that. I think they're just in the Big Brother house together.
[28:31] Tommy Bracco: Oh, yes. Yes, and I think that she's just like not really not into it but not into it. I don't know. She's just like neutral vibes.
[28:40] Anjelica Vispisiano: Yes, that's what I'm getting. I kind of agree. I don't think she's using him for the game though.
[28:45] Tommy Bracco: And it's like, no, let me not say that on television to look bad. I don't think she's thinking of it that deep. I think she's just kind of like going with it.
[28:54] Anjelica Vispisiano: Roman's fully awake. Oh, hello. Good morning, Roman. Hello. Hi.
[29:05] Tommy Bracco: Yeah, I do agree with you, but I also think that she is thinking about the television show in the... The proof is in that she said that in the segment. She said, "Now that's gonna be on TV, me."
[29:13] Anjelica Vispisiano: Yeah, right away, which is embarrassing, right?
[29:16] Tommy Bracco: Yeah, she's embarrassed. Anyway, the last thing I wanted to mention about Ava's nominations. Yeah, they did not do it justice. They left out half of her speech.
[29:23] Anjelica Vispisiano: Yeah, I think she said to Vinny, "Vinny, the lip, you got more hands in a pot. You should have been a gardener," right? And I mean just why they cut it out unless they're gonna use it another time doesn't make sense to me that that's what it was for.
[29:49] Tommy Bracco: Go ahead, cry. Say hi, Roman.
[29:53] Anjelica Vispisiano: Oh.
[30:05] Tommy Bracco: My gosh, what are the questions?
[30:08] Anjelica Vispisiano: Yes. Yeah, I don't agree with you. I said I agreed with you.
[30:13] Tommy Bracco: Oh, yeah. Yeah, I thought you were going in a different direction. I don't think it's a power dynamic, right? That's what you were trying to say that, yeah, like I think it's... But I don't think it's power. It's just it's not because he's like above her, but it's because they're both playing a game together that it might be. I think that she could... I think she could be influenced that he's helping her game and that's exactly attractive.
[30:35] Anjelica Vispisiano: Exactly. She's attracted to that. Yes, but I don't think like it's a power dynamic. I think that what you're saying is right, like he's in the house helping her and that's attractive.
[30:44] Tommy Bracco: Okay, okay. Alright, what questions, Joey? He felt very passionate about that. Joey never pops on the podcast, but had to pop on to say that it's like relationship stuff, so it makes sense. It's fitting.
[30:57] Anjelica Vispisiano: Joey, what questions? What questions? Let's see. Hmm. Rachel and Will are keeping it real this season. Do you find that lacking in recent seasons from its Michael Murphy?
[31:13] Tommy Bracco: No, I actually think that the reason why it's standing out so much that Rachel and Will are keeping it real is because everyone else around them is not keeping it real, and in the past seasons, we've had more people keeping it real.
[31:27] Anjelica Vispisiano: Joey, take him out.
[31:32] Tommy Bracco: No.
[31:34] Anjelica Vispisiano: Oh.
[31:38] Tommy Bracco: Joey does good with the baby. Yeah, Joey's good.
[31:42] Anjelica Vispisiano: Get him out of here.
[31:44] Tommy Bracco: Oh.
[31:46] Anjelica Vispisiano: No, we're gonna wrap up Roman. Anyway, okay, two more questions. Kenzie Camara asks, who are we loving genuinely? I'm not sure who's playing the best game right now. Who do we think is playing the best game? Let's do rapid-fire.
[31:53] Tommy Bracco: I was gonna say Mickey, but I think Ava. Honestly, I really think Ava's... and I think Will's playing a great game. Will and Ava.
[32:06] Anjelica Vispisiano: I agree, me too.
[32:08] Tommy Bracco: Really on agreeance.
[32:10] Anjelica Vispisiano: Agreeance, agreements.
[32:12] Tommy Bracco: Agreeance, I think... I don't know. I would love and die to see them in the final two chairs.
[32:21] Anjelica Vispisiano: Will and... yeah, I would like an older guy to win. I think he has a great shot.
[32:25] Tommy Bracco: Well, one, I yep. I think he has a great shot. I think they're good with a lot of people in the house. They're not in the background and just floating, but exactly involved enough. They're just in such a good spot.
[32:39] Anjelica Vispisiano: No has to win something.
[32:42] Tommy Bracco: Yes. Yeah, but socially he is in a great spot. And like I said, Ava's making bold moves but somehow getting away with it. I don't know.
[32:51] Anjelica Vispisiano: Yeah, she's awesome. She was a phenomenal cast.
[32:53] Tommy Bracco: Yeah, it was the best cast of the season.
[32:57] Anjelica Vispisiano: Yep. This question's from Nell. No, we love you. Do you think it's possible for Rachel to win again? Do you want her to win again?
[33:05] Tommy Bracco: Um, I don't like when... I don't like at any time when like a winner wins more than once, especially against people who have never played. Like sure, like when... What is that? Not Celebrity Big Brother, what's the... Oh, yeah, Reindeer Games, like stuff like that. Like, okay, great. Yeah, sure, fine, but I don't know. I just feel like you won already. Like I don't think... I don't think that they will vote for her to win, right?
[33:36] Anjelica Vispisiano: I think she's getting a little bit of a realist doses of realism because they're not playing the way she would think they should be playing.
[33:44] Tommy Bracco: Well, that's something else that we actually do have to talk about, and it is the Rachel and Morgan fight. Did you guys hear about that?
[33:52] Anjelica Vispisiano: No, I want to. Rachel and Morgan had a major fight. I actually have to look it up.
[33:57] Tommy Bracco: And you can you look it up while I talk about it?
[34:00] Anjelica Vispisiano: Yeah.
[34:01] Tommy Bracco: Okay, so Rachel and Morgan had a fight because Rachel's been hearing the rumors that everyone is just saying, "We want you in jury. We want Rachel in jury," because they value her as like a mediator, like who will vote fairly and be diplomatic and stuff. But Rachel does not like hearing that because she doesn't want to just make it to jury then get voted into the jury house.
[34:31] Anjelica Vispisiano: It's a sick combo.
[34:44] Tommy Bracco: So you guys want to keep me if that's what you think I will be here. From my perspective, I'm not trying to say right, but I understand that where your plan is and what the plan is, and I will... I'm telling you right now because I've heard it so many times, if you guys think you're keeping me to jury to sit in a jury house, you're crazy. Your whole group is crazy because I will not be there. I will be in this house sitting in that final two chair. So if you guys want to talk with me.
[35:41] Anjelica Vispisiano: But like what I'm confused about is like if you feel that way, sure, fine, but then keep it to yourself like I do because now they're just gonna be like, "Oh, okay, so you're telling us if you make it to the jury portion, you're gonna be sitting in the final two chair. Okay, great. Now we're gonna get you out now."
[36:00] Tommy Bracco: I know. I just know it was more to that. She actually said, "I'd rather you send me home now," and then do that.
[36:08] Anjelica Vispisiano: Yeah, like, but the reason why that happened is 'cause Morgan said something like, "Oh, Rachel, we're taking you to jury." So they were like... Rachel was like, "I've heard this enough. I'm right."
[36:21] Tommy Bracco: Yeah, I'm gonna have a lot of two kids. I am NOT here to get your go to the jury house. I don't care.
[36:27] Anjelica Vispisiano: No, that makes sense. And like it's... you're just human and you're emotional. Of course, she probably just like reached a breaking point with it. And she is Rachel Riley. She never holds back from confrontation.
[36:39] Tommy Bracco: Yes, yes, everyone was saying that that was the first time that Rachel got in a fight and won one.
[36:44] Anjelica Vispisiano: And won an argument.
[36:46] Tommy Bracco: Yeah, a hundred percent. That was literally the caption of that. Yeah, it was like she won her first argument.
[36:51] Anjelica Vispisiano: Yeah, she really did. I really get it. And I think Morgan really got it too. Honestly, I don't know what that will lead to. It will either lead to them taking her more seriously, and that could be a good thing or a bad thing.
[37:02] Tommy Bracco: Yeah, well later on Mickey, Will, and Ava were talking about that fight, and they were like, "Whoa, you know, that was really... that was sounding more confrontational than that to be honest."
[37:17] Anjelica Vispisiano: Yeah.
[37:18] Tommy Bracco: The way they were talking about it.
[37:22] Anjelica Vispisiano: Okay, I mean, so I think that that could spur her on. She's got a window. She does have to win.
[37:26] Tommy Bracco: She has to win a comp, but not yet because honestly, it's working in her benefit that they don't take her seriously.
[37:32] Anjelica Vispisiano: It really is. They're gonna take her along, and then she's got a lot more time to turn it on.
[37:37] Tommy Bracco: So do the question is, do we want Rachel to win again? I would love another Rachel win. I think it'd be really cool for her to win all these years later.
[37:43] Anjelica Vispisiano: I think on an island by yourself, and she's had to really adjust. She couldn't come in and play the same game that she played in BB 13. It's many years later, and she's playing a very different game. If she can adapt, that is the true definition of the game.
[38:02] Tommy Bracco: Yeah, I would love to see her win again, actually, I would. And not for nothing, that would prove that she's a lot better than most of these people because most of them are not that good, right? So honestly, I would like either a Rachel, a Rachel, Ava, or Will win. Sounds good to me. I think, yeah, Roman's crying. We gotta go. Alright, ready? Two, three, it's been real.
