[1:45] David Armstrong: I'm talking about shows such as Maybe Happy Ending, Smash, Boop, Death Becomes Her, Buena Vista Social Club, Operation Mincemeat — all of those are on my list.

[1:55] David Armstrong: And, of course, I have my eye on Dead Outlaw, Real Women Have Curves, Floyd Collins, and Pirates the Penzance Musical.

[2:03] David Armstrong: Hopefully, all of these shows will still be running and thriving in September, but we'll have a much better idea after the reviews are all in and the Tony nominations and awards are handed out.

[2:14] David Armstrong: The only musical scheduled to open in the fall in time for our trip is the revival of Mamma Mia, which could be fun, so perhaps we'll survey the group before we book the fourth show.

[2:26] David Armstrong: My goal overall is to curate the most interesting and dynamic group of shows that will not only be exciting to see, but also fascinating to discuss over breakfast, dinner, or drinks following each performance.
