Sam Tutty made his Broadway debut as Dougal in Two Strangers (Carry a Cake Across New York), reprising the role he originated in the musical's premiere at the Kiln Theatre in London and its subsequent West End transfer to the Criterion Theatre. Tutty is an Olivier Award winner, having received the award for Best Actor in a Leading Role in a Musical for his performance in the title role of Dear Evan Hansen on the West End, making him one of the youngest winners of the prestigious honor.
Born in England in 1998, Tutty trained at the ArtsEd drama school in London. His portrayal of Evan Hansen earned widespread critical acclaim and established him as one of the most exciting young musical theater talents to emerge from the British stage.
