[0:00] Andrew: We've got a mission to find the best song that's ever been on Glee.

[0:09] Andrew: There's no rhyme or reason to it, so don't get mad at me.

[0:18] Andrew: Gleek it by Gleek it, we'll rank everyone to see which song will move closer to spot number one.

[0:26] Andrew: Gleek of the Week, Gleek, Gleek, Gleek of the Week. It's Gleek, Gleek of the Week.

[0:35] Andrew: Hey guys! So, second recording of the damn day for me, a little Gleek behind the curtain.

[0:41] Andrew: But yes, I did just finish recording with Glee's own Heather Morris,

[0:47] Andrew: and it was a really great conversation that no one in this conversation has heard yet.

[0:54] Andrew: However, if you're listening to this episode, you have heard it, I would assume.

[0:58] Andrew: Which is kind of like a weird paradox that we're living in.

[1:02] Andrew: Anyway, this is the penultimate episode of the damn round, round three that is.

[1:08] Andrew: And wait, okay, the first of all, the two guests are Allyson A La Mode and Claudia!

[1:16] Andrew: Hell yeah!

[1:18] Allyson: Gleeky girls!

[1:20] Andrew: I feel like, wait, it's dawning on me right now, Allyson, I feel like you were the penultimate guest for round two as well.

[1:26] Allyson: I sure was! The penultimate!

[1:28] Andrew: With Lena!

[1:30] Allyson: Yes!

[1:32] Andrew: Wow!

[1:34] Andrew: I thought you planned it that way.

[1:36] Allyson: It's so beautiful.

[1:38] Allyson: I got booted off the finale.

[1:42] Andrew: Okay, so, how is everybody doing?

[1:46] Allyson: Doing well, doing great, as well as you can be.

[1:50] Claudia: Totally.

[1:52] Allyson: In these super normal times.

[1:54] Claudia: In these super normal times.

[1:56] Andrew: Yes, I was liking in the Ian Conner episode where you were like, next episode, super special.

[2:02] Claudia: One after that, regular.

[2:04] Andrew: One after that, super special.

[2:06] Claudia: And I was like, I don't know who's on that one.

[2:08] Allyson: You can skip it!

[2:10] Andrew: Right, right. I was like, oh, super regular.

[2:12] Claudia: Wait!

[2:14] Andrew: I thought it was special.

[2:16] Claudia: I'm excited to be meeting Allyson for the first time in my whole life.

[2:18] Allyson: No, don't say that.

[2:20] Claudia: It was special to me.

[2:22] Allyson: There's nothing special about this episode.

[2:24] Andrew: Stop.

[2:26] Claudia: That's what I'm saying about Andrew hating women.

[2:28] Andrew: He's like, oh, special episode.

[2:30] Claudia: On special episode, two women.

[2:32] Andrew: Wait, stop.

[2:34] Claudia: The special episode.

[2:36] Andrew: Stop.

[2:38] Claudia: The special episode did include a woman.

[2:40] Andrew: Heather Morris.

[2:42] Claudia: Is that not nothing?

[2:44] Allyson: The ratio's off.

[2:46] Claudia: As soon as the ratio is more women to men, then it's not special.

[2:48] Allyson: Then it's not special.

[2:50] Claudia: In the words of Heather Morris, who run the world?

[2:52] Allyson: Girls.

[2:54] Claudia: Who run the world.

[2:56] Allyson: Right. I knew she said something like that.

[2:58] Claudia: One of the things.

[3:00] Allyson: It was a really, really great conversation with Heather Morris.

[3:02] Allyson: If I do have to say so myself.

[3:04] Claudia: Second one this week.

[3:06] Allyson: Yes!

[3:08] Claudia: I was thinking about asking her.

[3:10] Allyson: Do you know the quote?

[3:12] Claudia: This is so messy boots.

[3:16] Allyson: I think she would have received it well.

[3:18] Claudia: Do you know the quote where she says,

[3:20] Claudia: I don't think that Lea Michele is racist.

[3:22] Claudia: I think that she hates everyone equally.

[3:24] Allyson: Yes.

[3:26] Claudia: She was spitting that day.

[3:28] Allyson: I've thought about that.

[3:30] Claudia: That's not a bar.

[3:32] Allyson: She's not racist.

[3:34] Allyson: She hates everyone equally.

[3:36] Claudia: I want someone to say that about me.

[3:38] Claudia: I'm not racist.

[3:40] Claudia: I do hate everyone equally.

[3:42] Allyson: I feel like that quote is a bumper sticker.

[3:44] Claudia: I feel like I've seen that before.

[3:46] Allyson: My mom would say that too.

[3:48] Claudia: My mom would say that kind of thing.

[3:50] Allyson: Speaking of Heather Morris leading things,

[3:52] Claudia: did you happen to see the tweet recently that's like,

[3:54] Claudia: is this a chicken before the egg?

[3:56] Claudia: It's a video of Beyonce and Heather.

[4:00] Allyson: Did Beyonce invite Heather because she saw her doing the dance?

[4:02] Claudia: I'm like, oh, we're losing.

[4:06] Allyson: We're losing the secret text.

[4:08] Claudia: Open the schools.

[4:10] Allyson: Open the schools.

[4:12] Claudia: What are you talking about?

[4:14] Claudia: Did Beyonce watch Glee and recruit her?

[4:16] Allyson: Can you imagine Beyonce watching Glee?

[4:18] Claudia: I really love the idea of Beyonce watching Glee and clocking Heather Morris and being like,

[4:20] Claudia: she's the one.

[4:22] Allyson: The people that wrote that were born in 2013.

[4:34] Claudia: Yeah.

[4:36] Claudia: Chicken before the egg.

[4:38] Claudia: I really thought that was kind of everybody knew that about Glee.

[4:40] Allyson: It is.

[4:42] Claudia: That's why it's terrifying.

[4:44] Allyson: Until you're a real Gleek, you don't realize how many different sub-genres of Gleeks there are.

[4:48] Claudia: There's OG Tumblr Gleeks.

[4:50] Allyson: There's pandemic Netflix Gleeks.

[4:52] Claudia: There's Instagram Gleeks.

[4:54] Allyson: There's box set DVD Gleeks.

[4:56] Claudia: Right.

[4:58] Allyson: There's so many different ones.

[5:00] Claudia: I think that also, honestly, box set DVD Gleek is different than myself.

[5:04] Allyson: It is.

[5:06] Claudia: Because I didn't get the box set.

[5:08] Claudia: I got them individually after each season.

[5:10] Allyson: That's what I'm saying.

[5:12] Claudia: It is different because I, age reveal, am younger and I was too young for some of the earlier things to watch legally.

[5:18] Allyson: I did a little bit behind my parents' back.

[5:20] Claudia: I watched certain seasons live, but then a lot of them I went back.

[5:24] Claudia: I think the first season I saw completely live was four.

[5:28] Allyson: Then I rewound.

[5:30] Claudia: I had seen certain things.

[5:32] Allyson: From what I know about you, season four is kind of like, that's your king.

[5:34] Claudia: It is not my season four.

[5:36] Allyson: It is not my favorite.

[5:38] Claudia: First three.

[5:40] Allyson: It's not your king.

[5:42] Claudia: I wouldn't say it's my king.

[5:44] Andrew: I don't know about that.

[5:46] Claudia: I'm a season four fan.

[5:48] Andrew: I'm referring to your favorite season of television as your king.

[5:50] Claudia: This your king?

[5:52] Allyson: This your king?

[5:54] Claudia: Hey king, you drop this.

[5:56] Allyson: It's season four.

[5:58] Claudia: I was watching via stream links after the fact.

[6:00] Allyson: I would torrent the episodes on the pirate bay and put them on a hard drive.

[6:04] Claudia: I was never even a DVD girlie.

[6:06] Claudia: I just had to thug it out on my laptop with my illegal downloads.

[6:10] Allyson: Pioneer. You're a pioneer.

[6:12] Claudia: I watched all of season one on DVD after the fact.

[6:16] Claudia: The first episode that I watched live, I think, was Silly Love Songs.

[6:20] Allyson: That was in my TV watching era.

[6:22] Claudia: Of course.

[6:24] Claudia: I still, to this day, have the entire beginning of season two in my iTunes library.

[6:28] Allyson: That's valuable. That's very valuable.

[6:30] Claudia: The first time that I saw Brittany Brittany, Rocky Horror Glacia, or whatever, was on a phone, which is kind of crazy to think about.

[6:36] Allyson: A phone, not an iTouch.

[6:38] Claudia: Not an iTouch.

[6:40] Allyson: Oh my god.

[6:42] Claudia: The Blu-ray 4K heads are screaming.

[6:44] Allyson: Watch it the way it was intended.

[6:46] Claudia: On an iTouch.

[6:48] Allyson: Right.

[6:50] Claudia: I had the iPod Classic.

[6:52] Allyson: That's smaller than that.

[6:54] Claudia: It was the first iPod to have video.

[6:56] Allyson: It's a square.

[6:58] Claudia: Not even an elongated phone.

[7:00] Andrew: The first episode I watched live was Wheels.

[7:02] Claudia: Is that the one with Defying Gravity?

[7:04] Allyson: That's the one with the wheels, right?

[7:06] Claudia: Well, that's what I was going to say.

[7:08] Claudia: I heard, oh, they're singing Defying Gravity.

[7:10] Claudia: I was very much newly into Wicked.

[7:12] Allyson: I fully recorded with my whole chest a TikTok about celebrating the 20th anniversary of That Girl by NLT, only to find out I am one year shy.

[7:18] Claudia: It is the 19th anniversary of That Girl by NLT.

[7:20] Allyson: No, you're ahead of the schedule.

[7:22] Claudia: That's great.

[7:24] Allyson: Now I have it marked in next year's calendar.

[7:26] Claudia: That's excellent.

[7:28] Claudia: I took a moment of reflection and realized that song changed the trajectory of my life, quite literally, because the only reason I started watching Glee is because I loved NLT.

[7:34] Allyson: It's beautiful.

[7:36] Claudia: I heard Kevin was in it, and I watched Wheels and was like, oh my god, look at Kevin.

[7:40] Allyson: The rest is history.

[7:42] Claudia: Glistory.

[7:44] Allyson: I have a Glee journalism note for my phone.

[7:46] Claudia: Degree.

[7:48] Allyson: Where every so often I'm usually inebriated when I'm like, oh my god, this would be such a great question for a Glee cast member, and I have categories.

[7:54] Claudia: Kevin, next time that I see him, I do want to ask, who is the them that he is not like?

[7:58] Allyson: Do we know?

[8:00] Claudia: Not like them.

[8:02] Allyson: I mean, I also am a Travis Garland stand who is another member of that boy band.

[8:06] Claudia: I've met one of my best friends in the world at a Travis Garland concert, and we are still friends to this day.

[8:12] Allyson: I loved NLT so bad, so I'm like, yeah, what is not like them?

[8:16] Claudia: Not like whom?

[8:18] Allyson: Who is the titular them?

[8:20] Claudia: I'm afraid of the answer, actually.

[8:22] Allyson: I don't want to know.

[8:24] Claudia: Anyway, oh wait, I love the competition that was in the Heather Morris episode.

[8:28] Claudia: I would love to.

[8:30] Claudia: Even knowing that we were the penultimate episode of the round, I looked at the remaining songs playlist and gasped at how few there are.

[8:36] Allyson: I have it up right now, and I always do my homework, and so I was like, I need to know what we're up against.

[8:42] Claudia: Yeah, this is interesting.

[8:44] Claudia: There are two I really want, but I don't want them to be against each other.

[8:48] Allyson: So I don't actually know how the finale is going to work, but there will only be two songs in the finale because there are six songs left in the cup right now.

[8:56] Claudia: Right, oh my god, oh my god, oh my god.

[9:00] Andrew: Editing Andrew here.

[9:02] Andrew: I do now know how the finale will be working, and if you would like to be part of the finale, tune in later into this episode when Editing Andrew comes back in to reveal how you can be involved.

[9:12] Claudia: Oh my god, okay, so tell me what the competition was.

[9:14] Allyson: I say a little prayer versus rehab.

[9:16] Claudia: Lay up.

[9:18] Allyson: I was thinking about how one of my worst nightmares is going to come to fruition, and it was going to be rehab versus yeah.

[9:24] Claudia: That is not real.

[9:26] Allyson: Pull the trigger.

[9:28] Claudia: Literally every other song is deserving, actually.

[9:32] Allyson: Every single other one.

[9:34] Claudia: Rehab versus yeah, kill them both.

[9:36] Allyson: I hope we get yeah.

[9:38] Claudia: What do we have left in here?

[9:40] Allyson: We need to get yeah today.

[9:42] Claudia: You want me to read it?

[9:44] Allyson: I have the list up right now.

[9:46] Claudia: I'm going to do some cross-referencing.

[9:48] Claudia: Okay, so we have Hung Up, Tina Cohen, Cheng Solo, and then, ooh, Top Ten Best Song on Glee, One Less Bell to Answer, House is Not a Home, and then you said, okay, and then Wide Awake, and then yeah.

[10:00] Allyson: Nutbush, City Limits, which did I have in the pen?

[10:04] Claudia: No, we had the other.

[10:06] Allyson: No, we did.

[10:08] Claudia: In that same episode?

[10:10] Allyson: Did we have three Santana songs in that episode?

[10:12] Claudia: We had Nutbush, and then we had Back to Black, and also If I Die Young.

[10:16] Allyson: And we were like, oh, yeah.

[10:18] Claudia: Oh, Back to Black?

[10:20] Allyson: Oh my god, we did.

[10:22] Claudia: Claudia, do you know what the final song is?

[10:24] Claudia: I do.

[10:26] Claudia: Let's Have a Kiki-Turkey-Lurkey Time.

[10:28] Allyson: Yes.

[10:30] Claudia: That's like my top two in this list.

[10:32] Allyson: It's kind of crazy.

[10:34] Claudia: Actually looking at this, like, okay, so what are we saying?

[10:36] Claudia: Those are all heavy hitters.

[10:38] Allyson: Who are the top three here?

[10:40] Claudia: Well, okay, ours are different.

[10:42] Claudia: One Less Bell to Answer.

[10:44] Allyson: Who are the top three?

[10:46] Claudia: Of what's remaining?

[10:48] Claudia: Mine would be Nutbush, Let's Have a Kiki, Hung Up.

[10:52] Allyson: Oh, I'm not including Hung Up. I'm over Hung Up.

[10:54] Claudia: Girl, she's so beautiful to me.

[10:56] Allyson: No, Hung Up had its day in 2013 where it was an everyday stream, but I've really grown past that era of my life.

[11:02] Claudia: The top three are...

[11:04] Allyson: Oh god.

[11:06] Claudia: I think Nutbush is a lock.

[11:08] Allyson: I think it's Nutbush, One Less Bell, and Kiki.

[11:10] Claudia: I would co-sign that.

[11:12] Allyson: But Wide Awake...

[11:14] Claudia: Oh, she's coming in.

[11:16] Allyson: Honorable mention, Wide Awake.

[11:18] Claudia: Honorable mention, but I don't know if she has...

[11:20] Allyson: I don't know if she's as good as the other three.

[11:22] Claudia: What if we get the top three against each other?

[11:24] Allyson: What if we get...

[11:26] Claudia: What would be the worst scenario?

[11:28] Allyson: Yeah versus what?

[11:30] Claudia: Wide Awake.

[11:32] Allyson: That's the worst scenario?

[11:34] Claudia: You would say Hung Up versus Yeah, right?

[11:36] Allyson: I would say Hung Up versus Yeah.

[11:38] Claudia: Okay.

[11:40] Claudia: I mean, I already have my vote.

[11:42] Allyson: I would say One Less Bell to Answer versus either Nutbush, City Limits or Turkey Lurky.

[11:46] Claudia: Mine would be...

[11:48] Claudia: It would be horrendous for me personally.

[11:50] Allyson: I think the scariest one to me is Kiki versus Nutbush, actually.

[11:54] Claudia: It's scary to me, but I know what I would do.

[11:56] Allyson: I like that we've just gone through all of these options and they're not that many and one of them will be what happens.

[12:02] Claudia: We've really set ourselves up.

[12:04] Allyson: This is going to be a great conversation.

[12:06] Claudia: I think we should rally behind one of the songs that we have to bring back from round four or whatever now and put that in the mix right now and it's just going to be the Matthew Morrison original song Still Got Tonight.

[12:12] Allyson: I would have to agree.

[12:14] Claudia: I think we've just thrown that in the mix.

[12:16] Allyson: Let it do its thing.

[12:18] Claudia: I've seen a lot of people come across this stage.

[12:20] Allyson: Still got it tonight.

[12:22] Claudia: Still got it tonight.

[12:24] Allyson: I feel like...

[12:26] Claudia: Why were the Glee writers jerking off theater security guards in that episode?

[12:30] Allyson: They wanted to shout them out, but in a strange way.

[12:32] Claudia: In a strange way.

[12:34] Allyson: Shout them out and showing that they're not actually doing their jobs.

[12:36] Claudia: They want to facilitate the dreams of young kids, which I guess is beautiful.

[12:40] Allyson: Very opinionated security guards. That's my dream job.

[12:44] Claudia: A very opinionated security guard.

[12:46] Allyson: But the joke is like, we haven't had a security guard here in 30 years. They're not real.

[12:50] Claudia: That security guard that I talked to, he was so sweet and so complimentary.

[12:54] Allyson: Jerry? He passed away in 97. We don't have a security guard.

[12:58] Claudia: We just leave the doors open.

[13:00] Allyson: We just rely on the security cameras. What are you talking about?

[13:04] Claudia: We saw you talking to yourselves.

[13:06] Allyson: The only way that man gets a compliment is in a dream.

[13:08] Claudia: From a ghost.

[13:10] Allyson: From a ghost.

[13:12] Andrew: As of recording this, is his debut in Just In Time on Tuesday?

[13:16] Claudia: I think you're right. Yes.

[13:18] Allyson: I saw the video of this girl camped out at midnight to get Jonathan Groff tickets for his last show.

[13:22] Claudia: It's honestly real.

[13:24] Allyson: The video is of him coming up to her. He's leaving the theater at midnight and then she's camped out with her chair for tomorrow.

[13:28] Claudia: Sorry, Jonathan Groff.

[13:30] Allyson: Because she wanted tickets to his last performance, so she's camped out in the rush line last night at midnight.

[13:34] Claudia: And he came to see her.

[13:36] Allyson: I hate to be like this, but I don't even know if Jonathan Groff even has the power.

[13:40] Claudia: But it's like, you see someone doing that.

[13:42] Allyson: Give him a ticket. I'll set you up.

[13:44] Claudia: I'll give you someone's email.

[13:46] Allyson: What's going on?

[13:48] Claudia: I can't be like, okay.

[13:50] Claudia: Hope to see you tomorrow.

[13:52] Allyson: Thank you so much for coming out.

[13:54] Claudia: And he will see her. That theater is tiny. You see everybody.

[13:58] Allyson: I had to have a coming out as a Gleek ceremony with my coworkers recently.

[14:02] Claudia: I don't remember how it came up.

[14:04] Allyson: But I have now, I share a blood bond with this one girl who doesn't really care much about Glee, but is obsessed with Jonathan Groff, which makes a lot of sense.

[14:10] Claudia: What was her first exposure to Jonathan Groff if not Glee?

[14:12] Allyson: She watched Glee.

[14:14] Claudia: If not Glee, then what?

[14:16] Allyson: She liked Spring Awakening. She did watch Glee.

[14:18] Claudia: I don't really have an understanding of why the passion is so current.

[14:20] Allyson: But she just loves that guy.

[14:22] Claudia: She has a thing for gay guys. That's something that's true.

[14:24] Allyson: Shout out Frozen if you're listening to this.

[14:26] Claudia: Oh my god, Frozen.

[14:28] Allyson: Yeah, lest we forget.

[14:30] Claudia: She's not 12 years old, unfortunately.

[14:32] Allyson: I've fallen off of Disney, Pixar releases.

[14:34] Claudia: But I wish I had. I really want to catch up.

[14:36] Allyson: I haven't seen so many of them.

[14:38] Claudia: But I keep having cravings to rewatch my favorites.

[14:40] Allyson: I've been in need of an Incredibles and monsters.

[14:42] Claudia: You're an Incredibles girl.

[14:44] Allyson: I'm an Incredibles girl.

[14:46] Claudia: I was scrapbooking the other day. You would be happy about this.

[14:48] Allyson: We will talk more about Glee in a second.

[14:50] Claudia: I know.

[14:52] Claudia: I was scrapbooking the other day and there were a few people from my birthday party that left their name tags.

[14:56] Allyson: You included Claudia.

[14:58] Claudia: Your name tag, it was Hello, my name is blank.

[15:00] Claudia: And my favorite Pixar movie is blank.

[15:02] Allyson: So I saw that yours was, of course, Incredibles.

[15:04] Claudia: So that's in my scrapbook.

[15:06] Allyson: Yay.

[15:08] Claudia: Scrapbooking-ship.

[15:10] Allyson: Can we talk about Glee now?

[15:12] Claudia: Yeah.

[15:14] Andrew: So let's do it.

[15:16] Claudia: Okay, what do we think about what's been happening on the Glocka?

[15:18] Allyson: Do we need to say things about that?

[15:20] Claudia: Oh, you know I do.

[15:22] Allyson: Go girl.

[15:24] Claudia: Just do it.

[15:26] Claudia: Listen.

[15:28] Claudia: Wait, I'm trying to act like what happened that was this pressing?

[15:30] Allyson: Okay, so you had the opportunity to eliminate.

[15:32] Claudia: I know exactly what you're going to say.

[15:34] Allyson: You had the opportunity to eliminate my op.

[15:36] Claudia: Shout.

[15:38] Allyson: Cry.

[15:40] Claudia: I have the voting history pulled up.

[15:42] Allyson: Yeah, I know.

[15:44] Claudia: And then even Ian taking up for me.

[15:46] Allyson: I appreciate you, Ian. I love you.

[15:48] Claudia: I literally, I didn't know, when you were on the fence I even DM'd you that I heard Lucy Kabusi music when you cast your vote.

[15:54] Allyson: I was like, I'm going to vote for Shout.

[15:56] Claudia: And I was like, it took me a second when I first read it.

[15:58] Allyson: I was like, Lucy Kabusi music.

[16:00] Claudia: I see her bob and bangs flipping around.

[16:02] Allyson: That's what I see.

[16:04] Claudia: Like me trying to rip Shout off the walls, out of the cup.

[16:06] Allyson: Lucy Kabusi music.

[16:08] Claudia: Do you know what that sound is a reference to?

[16:10] Allyson: No.

[16:12] Claudia: That is a reference to, I feel like Claudia, maybe we've talked about this movie before because I think that you would really like it if you haven't seen it.

[16:16] Allyson: Election.

[16:18] Claudia: I love Election.

[16:20] Allyson: That's like when Reese Witherspoon sees I think she sees that like the Cory Monteith looking guy he's running for president against her.

[16:26] Claudia: What is this movie? I'm thinking of the Will Ferrell movie.

[16:28] Allyson: What movie are you talking about?

[16:30] Claudia: Reese Witherspoon, Matthew Broderick.

[16:32] Allyson: Oh, 1999.

[16:34] Claudia: Wow.

[16:36] Allyson: Matthew Broderick.

[16:38] Claudia: He was important to me.

[16:40] Allyson: Oh, you're talking about Chris Klein from American Pie.

[16:42] Claudia: Yes, he is.

[16:44] Allyson: Very cutesy.

[16:46] Claudia: All of our cultural references.

[16:48] Claudia: So the Lucy Kabusi music played when Shout was considered.

[16:52] Allyson: Right.

[16:54] Claudia: Yes.

[16:56] Claudia: Did you see the Oscars clip?

[16:58] Allyson: I actually know for a fact you did see this.

[17:00] Andrew: Because we watched the Oscars together.

[17:02] Claudia: Because we watched it together.

[17:04] Claudia: Netflix movies have there's a rumor that the Netflix execs have a stipulation in movies that are made for the service that they have to restate the plot several times to accommodate people that are scrolling on their phones.

[17:12] Allyson: To recap, Lucy Kabusi music was playing when I considered Shout.

[17:16] Claudia: It's like the TikToks.

[17:18] Allyson: The TikToks of them talking and then there's a voice in the back that's also repeating what's happening.

[17:22] Claudia: So it's like two things at once.

[17:24] Allyson: We live in hell.

[17:26] Claudia: Then to add salt to the wound, the show that I just was currently working on was MJ the Musical.

[17:30] Allyson: But Song is also in that musical.

[17:32] Claudia: Shout.

[17:34] Allyson: Just a little clip.

[17:36] Claudia: It's just a little snippet of when he's talking about his inspiration and what artists.

[17:40] Allyson: It's like a little medley.

[17:42] Claudia: I completely forgot and I was standing in the back watching and then it started playing and I heard the Lucy Kabusi music again.

[17:48] Allyson: God, I hate her.

[17:50] Claudia: MJ the Musical, I was just telling someone yesterday, I was walking past that theater with an older coworker.

[17:56] Allyson: I think she's probably in her 60s.

[17:58] Claudia: We were passing by the theater and she was like, have you seen MJ the Musical?

[18:00] Allyson: Oh yeah, I liked it. It's really good.

[18:02] Claudia: Have you seen it? She was like, personally, I'm not going to see a musical about a pedophile.

[18:06] Allyson: Then you got me.

[18:08] Claudia: Why did you stop?

[18:10] Allyson: That's so funny.

[18:12] Claudia: I saw the trailer for the movie about Michael Jackson. Are you guys going to see it?

[18:16] Allyson: I will be sad.

[18:18] Claudia: I'm afraid to answer.

[18:20] Allyson: I personally will not be seeing a movie about a pedophile.

[18:24] Claudia: Oh, well, I will be sad at a midnight premiere.

[18:28] Allyson: How do you respond to that?

[18:30] Claudia: That is crazy.

[18:32] Claudia: To be clear and to recap, I was saying that as a joke.

[18:34] Claudia: I think you should see every movie you want to see, guys.

[18:36] Allyson: My biggest takeaway was Shout.

[18:38] Allyson: I'm very, very beat up about that.

[18:40] Claudia: Let's see.

[18:42] Claudia: I think that also, if and when I'm submitting my application for the next round of the Glackett,

[18:46] Claudia: I cannot, me and Baby one more time cannot see each other again.

[18:50] Allyson: I want a restraining order.

[18:52] Claudia: You're over her.

[18:54] Allyson: You can't be trusted around her.

[18:56] Claudia: No.

[18:58] Allyson: I want a restraining order against her.

[19:00] Claudia: I don't want to be forced to defend her.

[19:02] Allyson: Because I don't have any...

[19:04] Allyson: There's no world where she will survive round four.

[19:06] Claudia: Yeah, we said that about this round.

[19:08] Allyson: When yeah goes through and I...

[19:10] Claudia: Damn, round one.

[19:12] Allyson: I think I've said I've never voted for Baby one more time.

[19:14] Claudia: Even in round one.

[19:16] Allyson: Against Downtown.

[19:18] Claudia: I mean, come on.

[19:20] Allyson: Downtown.

[19:22] Claudia: I kind of mixed that up with Macklemore.

[19:24] Allyson: That's not even the melody.

[19:26] Claudia: Downtown.

[19:28] Allyson: Oh, I know.

[19:30] Claudia: Okay.

[19:32] Claudia: Also, I hate Fighter. I am right there with you, Matt Liguori.

[19:36] Allyson: I hate Fighter. It's kind of cringe to me.

[19:38] Claudia: Doesn't Matt like Fighter?

[19:40] Allyson: Oh, wait. No. Who voted?

[19:42] Claudia: Sorry. No.

[19:44] Allyson: Matt voted...

[19:46] Claudia: No, I'm not with you. I'm opposed to you, Matt.

[19:48] Allyson: I'm sorry.

[19:50] Claudia: When I'm with you. When I'm not with you.

[19:52] Allyson: I was with you on How to Be a Heartbreaker, Matt.

[19:54] Claudia: We must part because I want no part of it.

[19:56] Allyson: Right. And that's that on that.

[19:58] Claudia: And that's that on that.

[20:00] Claudia: Allyson, what do you think about anything?

[20:02] Allyson: Anything?

[20:04] Claudia: I have a lot of thoughts on a lot of things.

[20:06] Allyson: Specifically Glackett.

[20:08] Claudia: Specifically Glackett. I felt happy to have a little bit of representation through my Lord and Savior, Ian, for his thoughts on Season 6, Home.

[20:14] Allyson: Because that girl is very important to me.

[20:16] Claudia: For all the reasons that he said, so I don't have to repeat myself, but great vocals, great story.

[20:20] Allyson: It's like, maybe one of the most special numbers of Season 6, in my opinion.

[20:24] Claudia: And I really wanted to watch her.

[20:26] Allyson: I really wanted to get her on an episode.

[20:28] Claudia: For that reason, I'm kind of bummed because that will never happen.

[20:30] Allyson: And I apologize because that was my...

[20:32] Claudia: It's okay. Can we watch it right now?

[20:34] Allyson: But obviously Gloria is she's beautiful.

[20:36] Claudia: And even though it's kind of a random one to be so important, it just really is. It's so good.

[20:40] Allyson: And it's one of the songs that when I think about it, I have to play it right away.

[20:44] Claudia: And then I get a little pep in my step.

[20:46] Allyson: So I'm not so mad.

[20:48] Claudia: You have to do it with your lips not moving.

[20:50] Allyson: Looking like this.

[20:52] Claudia: Ventriloquist.

[20:54] Allyson: Laughing with your mouth closed.

[20:56] Claudia: She's so mad.

[20:58] Allyson: She's such a talented actress.

[21:00] Claudia: But she's not racist.

[21:02] Allyson: She hates everybody equally.

[21:04] Claudia: I get it.

[21:06] Claudia: My other minor thought is that I love you get what you give.

[21:08] Allyson: And it's very special to me.

[21:10] Claudia: Yes.

[21:12] Claudia: I don't think it would make sense to beat Drumpf, but I'm still mad at Drumpf for what you took from me, which is all coming back to me now.

[21:18] Allyson: I like that song, except for the take care of it.

[21:20] Claudia: I love that part.

[21:22] Allyson: No, I hate it because it's the older brother of this one's for you.

[21:26] Claudia: Oh, so beautiful.

[21:28] Allyson: I like that one.

[21:30] Claudia: I think it's so crazy.

[21:32] Claudia: We've definitely talked about this before.

[21:34] Allyson: Maybe we haven't.

[21:36] Claudia: No, no, no.

[21:38] Claudia: The fact that this one's for you, Artie, is included in the mp3.

[21:40] Allyson: Why?

[21:42] Claudia: And then it starts.

[21:44] Claudia: This one's for you, Artie.

[21:46] Allyson: They don't do that with any other song.

[21:48] Claudia: That's awesome.

[21:50] Allyson: They didn't know any better yet.

[21:52] Claudia: They were still finding their footing.

[21:54] Allyson: What if we start the song like this?

[21:56] Claudia: Because we also talked about how in the first episodes of season one on iTunes, it tells you who the artist they're covering is.

[22:02] Allyson: They stopped doing that.

[22:04] Claudia: They were just fucking around.

[22:06] Allyson: Season one, they're just like, we're just going to do some shit and see what people like.

[22:10] Claudia: They're trying to get...

[22:12] Allyson: What is that called?

[22:14] Claudia: SEO.

[22:16] Allyson: Yes, thank you.

[22:18] Claudia: They're just trying to get that in the title.

[22:20] Allyson: Thank you, Executive Gleek.

[22:22] Claudia: I have more.

[22:24] Allyson: Go ahead.

[22:26] Claudia: Thanks.

[22:28] Claudia: Seeing her get voted out made me realize how much I do love Homeward Bound Home, so I'm really happy that she got voted back.

[22:34] Allyson: I had an understanding that people didn't get it the way that I do, so I'm happy to be proven wrong.

[22:40] Claudia: Pleasantly surprised.

[22:42] Allyson: That song makes me cry every time.

[22:44] Claudia: It's so beautiful.

[22:46] Allyson: I love everybody's vocals in it.

[22:48] Claudia: That's the alum, right?

[22:50] Allyson: Aw.

[22:52] Claudia: I think it was Abby that brought up before that she like...

[22:54] Allyson: It's never dawned on me until she pointed it out that it's the three white glee club members across from the non-white glee club.

[23:00] Claudia: It's awesome, and then they come together.

[23:02] Allyson: They literally cross the aisle.

[23:04] Claudia: They literally cross the aisle.

[23:06] Allyson: It's never dawned on them ever that it's like, um...

[23:08] Claudia: No, there's no optics.

[23:10] Allyson: You think glee has any kind of...

[23:12] Claudia: This is kind of like a weird look.

[23:14] Allyson: No, it makes perfect sense because Quinn, Finn, and Puck were having a three-way backstage, and then everybody came out to say hello in the middle of that.

[23:20] Claudia: We're going to wrap the three-way in about 15 minutes.

[23:22] Allyson: Then we're going to go ahead and sing, and welcome the non-white glee club members back there with respect.

[23:26] Claudia: Normally. Be really normal.

[23:28] Allyson: Very normal.

[23:30] Claudia: Yes.

[23:32] Claudia: We might have gone bitches back over the Madonna.

[23:34] Allyson: That's so hard to me.

[30:00] Claudia Klinck: It's a beautiful, final duet, but it has less, like, significance to me in my memory. I don't know. And I love this guy. I remember listening to that competition and I was like, glad it wasn't me, because I love those girls, both of them, so much. Yeah, that's a hard one. And it's ones you wouldn't, like, think about as being so hard up against each other, I feel like. So, that was a fun competition. They're really so similar, for the obvious reasons. But um... Two lovers singing together. Two lovers singing together. Interesting mashup. That's the whole thing. They're both endgame. I think those are my, those are my ones. I was sad that Like A Version got voted out, but also it made sense. But I think it was for, like, Like A Version had, like, actual really strange sexual impact on me as a, as a young viewer.

So. And I didn't really get it until I saw it. That's a performance. That's like a work, like, that's a good Glee clip. Like even if you're not listening to the mp3, it's such a good clip and, like, representation of Glee. I think.

[30:59] Allyson A La Mode: I think so too. I, that's a, I do stream that a lot. It's good. It's just really great. And of course, the Naya adlibs are just, like, really, really, really special.

[31:09] Claudia Klinck: Yeah, and other aspects of Naya. Anyway. What, no, specifically what? Beautiful purple nightgown. Sexy. Beautiful gowns. No more comment. Not leaving a lot to the imagination. No. You're kind of seeing a lot of this woman. We're gonna have to go off. I mean, her first, that was her first featured vocal.

[31:28] Allyson A La Mode: Yeah.

[31:29] Claudia Klinck: That was her first featured vocal. You're correct. And then Bad Romance. Because Express Yourself is earlier in the episode.

[31:36] Allyson A La Mode: Do you believe in love?

[31:38] Claudia Klinck: But I don't think that she's in the episode version, if I'm not mistaken.

[31:42] Allyson A La Mode: But not the episode version.

[31:44] Claudia Klinck: And then it makes it look like it is, but it's Tina's vocal.

[31:48] Allyson A La Mode: Right.

[31:49] Claudia Klinck: Oh, really? If you, it's, think about the love you.

[31:54] Allyson A La Mode: And that's totally Jenna, but it's on Naya's face.

[31:57] Claudia Klinck: I think you're right.

[31:58] Allyson A La Mode: Wow.

[31:59] Claudia Klinck: They mess up some of those lip syncs early on, for sure.

[32:03] Allyson A La Mode: Yeah.

[32:04] Claudia Klinck: I could be wrong. Check the, roll the tapes.

[32:06] Allyson A La Mode: Check the tapes. Roll the tapes.

[32:08] Claudia Klinck: I'm showing all the choreography I remember from Express Yourself. Now on songs.

[32:12] Allyson A La Mode: Okay.

[32:13] Claudia Klinck: So like, for example, Bad Romance, as much as I love the Glee version, do you sometimes hear the Glee Project version in your head? Because I do.

[32:19] Allyson A La Mode: Oh.

[32:21] Claudia Klinck: Are you normal?

[32:22] Allyson A La Mode: No, I'm normal in that regard.

[32:23] Claudia Klinck: I'm immune to this.

[32:24] Allyson A La Mode: I don't.

[32:25] Claudia Klinck: I don't.

[32:26] Allyson A La Mode: Oh my God.

[32:27] Claudia Klinck: I can hear them.

[32:29] Allyson A La Mode: That's all of them besides Bryce.

[32:31] Claudia Klinck: Like all of them are still there.

[32:33] Allyson A La Mode: Yeah.

[32:34] Claudia Klinck: It wasn't even, it wasn't a music video. It was the homework assignment. So they're all trying to like outperform each other in front of Idina.

[32:40] Allyson A La Mode: Idina Menzel.

[32:42] Claudia Klinck: Ah.

[32:43] Allyson A La Mode: Yes.

[32:44] Claudia Klinck: And I can hear like the choices, the ad-libs. Like I can almost hear it more, like more than when I think of Bad Romance than the Glee version. I can hear it more in the Glee Project version, sometimes even with like Firework or like other like songs. And then there's songs that were in the Glee Project that were not even in Glee.

[33:01] Allyson A La Mode: And I think of those as well.

[33:02] Claudia Klinck: Like Mad World.

[33:03] Allyson A La Mode: Mad World.

[33:04] Claudia Klinck: My exposure to the Glee Project at this point is so strange and deranged because I have not seen a single full episode.

[33:13] Allyson A La Mode: But I have now, I actually did not meet them, but I saw what are their names perform live and it was so confusing.

[33:18] Claudia Klinck: Abraham Lim.

[33:20] Allyson A La Mode: Yes.

[33:21] Claudia Klinck: And the other one.

[33:22] Allyson A La Mode: And the other one.

[33:23] Claudia Klinck: Oh yeah.

[33:24] Allyson A La Mode: Oh, of course.

[33:25] Claudia Klinck: And then special guest Harper Gray.

[33:26] Allyson A La Mode: And it was like, I don't, I'm so confused what is happening right now.

[33:30] Claudia Klinck: So I'm like, it's a bit of a blind spot, but also, I mean, I've seen too much.

[33:37] Allyson A La Mode: I know too much.

[33:38] Claudia Klinck: Now you're in.

[33:39] Allyson A La Mode: I'm in.

[33:40] Claudia Klinck: I'm scared.

[33:41] Allyson A La Mode: Oh, one more thing. In the episode, I do have an X-Acto knife in my hand, sorry.

[33:45] Claudia Klinck: I'm not threatening you.

[33:46] Allyson A La Mode: No.

[33:47] Claudia Klinck: I'm not threatening you.

[33:48] Allyson A La Mode: No.

[33:50] Claudia Klinck: Put the knife down.

[33:51] Allyson A La Mode: Put the knife down.

[33:52] Claudia Klinck: Put the knife down.

[33:53] Allyson A La Mode: It is covered. It is in its holster.

[33:55] Claudia Klinck: I'm calling you out right now for saying that you don't do karaoke and saying that you want to do a bit song karaoke because I have video evidence of us, of us singing Total Eclipse of the Heart mere hours after seeing Lady the Diana Agron at the Cafe Carlyle.

[34:16] Allyson A La Mode: So I'm just going to go ahead and say you're a liar.

[34:19] Claudia Klinck: First of all.

[34:20] Allyson A La Mode: Okay.

[34:21] Claudia Klinck: That's not lying because I did it with you.

[34:23] Allyson A La Mode: That's still lying.

[34:24] Claudia Klinck: Didn't you sing something else?

[34:25] Allyson A La Mode: I don't know. We had a lot of espresso martinis at that point, but he's a really talented performer and I'll go ahead. I'll go on the record and say that.

[34:31] Claudia Klinck: And I would love to see you do the name game and that's all.

[34:35] Allyson A La Mode: The name game.

[34:36] Claudia Klinck: I think I need to work to the name game though.

[34:39] Allyson A La Mode: I think I need to start with the Last Christmas.

[34:40] Claudia Klinck: I was going to say start with Last Christmas and then work your way up.

[34:45] Allyson A La Mode: Macarena, I don't really support that one.

[34:48] Claudia Klinck: You don't understand the vision with Macarena?

[34:50] Allyson A La Mode: I don't like it.

[34:51] Claudia Klinck: I don't like the vision.

[34:52] Allyson A La Mode: I'm like, that's just, I wouldn't want to hear Macarena anywhere, ever.

[34:56] Claudia Klinck: I think it might come across as like, almost like too earnest. Like, oh, maybe he's like actually doing this because he's like...

[35:05] Allyson A La Mode: Name game is so out of left field that it's like not even annoying.

[35:08] Claudia Klinck: It would be like funny. If someone went up and sang Macarena, I'd be like, that's annoying.

[35:12] Allyson A La Mode: Name game would be fun.

[35:13] Claudia Klinck: Okay. That's my thought.

[35:16] Allyson A La Mode: Like peer review.

[35:17] Claudia Klinck: Workshopping.

[35:18] Allyson A La Mode: Workshopping karaoke songs.

[35:19] Claudia Klinck: Last Christmas.

[35:20] Allyson A La Mode: Definitely.

[35:21] Claudia Klinck: Easy.

[35:22] Allyson A La Mode: Good.

[35:23] Claudia Klinck: No complications there.

[35:24] Allyson A La Mode: Yeah.

[35:25] Claudia Klinck: Name game is complicated.

[35:26] Allyson A La Mode: But you don't think a Macarena with like the right crowd and participation and everyone like back it, then it kind of like, you know, then it's like a group thing.

[35:33] Claudia Klinck: I guess.

[35:34] Allyson A La Mode: Keep that for a private room that you rent in K-Town.

[35:37] Claudia Klinck: Okay. See, this is the thing. I think that like private rooms to me for karaoke, I think are sometimes like just a big waste of money.

[35:48] Allyson A La Mode: Yeah.

[35:49] Claudia Klinck: It's like, like, why are we doing this? I could have did this in my living room.

[35:51] Allyson A La Mode: Yeah.

[35:52] Claudia Klinck: And if you're having enough fun in public, who cares?

[35:55] Allyson A La Mode: In public.

[35:56] Claudia Klinck: Right. Don't we want to be like, kind of like interacting with strangers that want to sing?

[36:00] Allyson A La Mode: Yeah.

[36:01] Claudia Klinck: Yes.

[36:02] Allyson A La Mode: Yeah.

[36:03] Claudia Klinck: Anyway.

[36:04] Allyson A La Mode: Or is that just theater people?

[36:05] Claudia Klinck: Well, the one that we went to, Claudia, I've been, RPM Underground is what it's called. I've been there before. And there's like so many performers, obviously, in that area of the damn town.

[36:19] Allyson A La Mode: It was 2am on Thursday.

[36:22] Claudia Klinck: And like, and like, sometimes like these theater performers come into karaoke and I'm like, okay.

[36:30] Allyson A La Mode: Whatever.

[36:31] Claudia Klinck: They're killing it. It's kind of annoying. Just kidding. I can't relate to that. I'm always the best person at karaoke.

[36:37] Allyson A La Mode: I'm not kidding.

[36:38] Claudia Klinck: I'm not a good singer, but I'm good at karaoke.

[36:39] Allyson A La Mode: I think that's true.

[36:40] Claudia Klinck: Wait, Alison, what's your karaoke?

[36:41] Allyson A La Mode: My go to song?

[36:42] Claudia Klinck: Karaoke King.

[36:43] Allyson A La Mode: What is it?

[36:44] Claudia Klinck: What's my Karaoke King?

[36:45] Allyson A La Mode: Yeah.

[36:46] Claudia Klinck: What's your king?

[36:47] Allyson A La Mode: Ian and I also shared, the ones he named in the episode were also two of my go to's. So that was disturbing.

[36:49] Claudia Klinck: God, it depends on like, the level of entertainment.

[36:50] Allyson A La Mode: Yeah.

[36:51] Claudia Klinck: Yeah.

[36:52] Allyson A La Mode: Yeah.

[36:53] Claudia Klinck: Yeah.

[36:54] Allyson A La Mode: Yeah.

[36:55] Claudia Klinck: Yeah.

[36:56] Allyson A La Mode: Yeah.

[36:57] Claudia Klinck: Yeah.

[36:58] Allyson A La Mode: Yeah.

[36:59] Claudia Klinck: I don't know what you guys like, it depends on like, the level of tequila I've consumed.

[37:06] Allyson A La Mode: Right.

[37:07] Claudia Klinck: But I do love a what you won't do for love by Bobby Caldwell.

[37:11] Allyson A La Mode: Beautiful.

[37:12] Claudia Klinck: Oh!

[37:13] Allyson A La Mode: Yeah.

[37:14] Claudia Klinck: That's fun.

[37:16] Allyson A La Mode: I like that one.

[37:19] Claudia Klinck: Me and my friend did the Boy Is Mine.

[37:22] Allyson A La Mode: Yes!

[37:23] Claudia Klinck: That's a good duet. Very, very good. I love that.

[37:25] Allyson A La Mode: And you're singing, are you singing exclusively one part or are you both sharing the entire song?

[37:31] Claudia Klinck: I don't know.

[37:34] Allyson A La Mode: I will be playing all the parts.

[37:38] Claudia Klinck: You have to claim like your Brandy or Monica.

[37:41] Allyson A La Mode: You need to.

[37:42] Claudia Klinck: Yeah. You have to claim it.

[37:44] Allyson A La Mode: But then, I, you know, the same could be said about singing like, like if I'm singing for good, I don't know how to stick to one part.

[37:48] Claudia Klinck: So I will, in fact, be singing all the parts.

[37:53] Allyson A La Mode: Yeah.

[37:54] Claudia Klinck: But I'm not, I don't know how to sing, like, and harmonize and stuff like that. So sometimes you just got to take the reins.

[38:01] Allyson A La Mode: Definitely.

[38:02] Claudia Klinck: And drive.

[38:03] Allyson A La Mode: True.

[38:04] Claudia Klinck: I don't know. I think we just need to take the reins of the damn glacket.

[38:05] Allyson A La Mode: For sure.

[38:06] Claudia Klinck: I'm so nervous. There are six options of songs, four of which will be pulled in this damn recording right now.

[38:14] Allyson A La Mode: Let's start off with, it's this one.

[38:19] Claudia Klinck: My heart is beating fast. You know what this is.

[38:24] Allyson A La Mode: I'm scared.

[38:25] Claudia Klinck: You know.

[38:26] Allyson A La Mode: Is it yeah?

[38:28] Claudia Klinck: It surely is yeah.

[38:29] Allyson A La Mode: Ew.

[38:30] Claudia Klinck: Why?

[38:32] Allyson A La Mode: This is a waste of my time.

[38:33] Claudia Klinck: Wait, stop. It's like really smooth.

[38:35] Allyson A La Mode: I'm clocking out.

[38:36] Claudia Klinck: 20 seconds long.

[38:37] Allyson A La Mode: Okay.

[38:38] Claudia Klinck: Allison, you've had yeah before. Am I making this up?

[38:39] Allyson A La Mode: No.

[38:41] Claudia Klinck: Have I?

[38:42] Allyson A La Mode: No.

[38:43] Claudia Klinck: No.

[38:45] Allyson A La Mode: No.

[38:46] Claudia Klinck: No.

[38:47] Allyson A La Mode: No.

[38:48] Claudia Klinck: In the club with my homies.

[38:49] Allyson A La Mode: It's not even that bad.

[38:50] Claudia Klinck: It's just like so annoying.

[38:51] Allyson A La Mode: It's not bad.

[38:52] Claudia Klinck: It's giving pitch perfect, which I love.

[38:55] Allyson A La Mode: When does Usher say we got the beat?

[38:58] Claudia Klinck: I have so many things to say.

[39:01] Allyson A La Mode: Go.

[39:02] Claudia Klinck: I think you should start.

[39:03] Allyson A La Mode: Yeah.

[39:04] Claudia Klinck: Well, the first thing slightly relevant to the performance is was like, is it Broadway world or something? Just did a article on Glee stars on Broadway and included Cheyenne Jackson like that's bold.

[39:15] Allyson A La Mode: You did Cheyenne Jackson and also Telly Leung.

[39:20] Claudia Klinck: And Telly Leung. That's so awesome. And I mean, at least Telly Leung did perform adjacently. But like Cheyenne Jackson got the Idina Menzel treatment from Enchanted.

[39:29] Allyson A La Mode: So I I think that like, yes, true.

[39:33] Claudia Klinck: Yeah. Honestly, it's perfectly said Enchanted. But like Telly Leung, like he has been Aladdin. He has so many other credits that are like he's not doing anything in Glee.

[39:46] Allyson A La Mode: Right there.

[39:47] Claudia Klinck: I mean, like he was there for more. What more episodes than Cheyenne Jackson?

[39:52] Allyson A La Mode: Yes.

[39:53] Claudia Klinck: But like, I feel like Cheyenne Jackson at least got to act.

[39:56] Allyson A La Mode: Telly Leung acted as gay warbler.

[39:59] Claudia Klinck: Yes, that's the first gay warbler.

[40:02] Allyson A La Mode: Number one. Do we know?

[40:04] Claudia Klinck: He had a girlfriend. Didn't he canonically have a girlfriend? Or did he say I am a girlfriend?

[40:06] Allyson A La Mode: He definitely had a girlfriend.

[40:08] Claudia Klinck: He had lines.

[40:09] Allyson A La Mode: He had lines.

[40:10] Claudia Klinck: Clocking you.

[40:11] Allyson A La Mode: They both have.

[40:12] Claudia Klinck: They both have.

[40:13] Allyson A La Mode: We all do.

[40:14] Claudia Klinck: We all do.

[40:15] Allyson A La Mode: Him.

[40:17] Claudia Klinck: Wait. Telly Leung's character Wes and also David, they both have girlfriends.

[40:24] Allyson A La Mode: Girlfriends.

[40:25] Claudia Klinck: I think he named a warbler named Wes and David.

[40:28] Allyson A La Mode: Well, it's when they're all like at coffee and then Kurt is like, are you guys all gay? And then I think, is it Telly?

[40:36] Claudia Klinck: I'm like, I have a girlfriend.

[40:37] Allyson A La Mode: Sure you do, Telly.

[40:38] Claudia Klinck: I have a girlfriend.

[40:39] Allyson A La Mode: And I believe it.

[40:40] Claudia Klinck: Yeah, I do too.

[40:41] Allyson A La Mode: He's got straight gay guy vibes.

[40:46] Claudia Klinck: He does.

[40:48] Allyson A La Mode: No lie detected.

[40:49] Claudia Klinck: The lie detector.

[40:50] Allyson A La Mode: Oh my gosh.

[40:53] Claudia Klinck: I'm glad that we're talking about Telly Leung's character's sexuality and responsibility.

[40:58] Allyson A La Mode: Okay, back to the performance. Do you think they told Amber Riley what, like when her, her dialogue was, they're really good. Do you think it was going to come right after that white girl singing? Because I really don't think Mercedes or Amber Riley would say that after that particular performance.

[41:15] Claudia Klinck: Should we get the script changed like she did in season six?

[41:21] Allyson A La Mode: And also when the like, the black girl comes in at the end, it kind of sounded like Heather a little bit.

[41:27] Claudia Klinck: It was, no? Like, say come get me. I was like, oh, yeah, it kind of, I was like, oh, that's interesting.

[41:34] Allyson A La Mode: I honestly was thinking, they're really good is like, is so funny to me.

[41:40] Claudia Klinck: I honestly think that like, I don't think Amber knew what she was actually, I don't think she knew what she was watching.

[41:48] Allyson A La Mode: She just said the line.

[41:49] Claudia Klinck: There's no way. There's absolutely no way.

[41:51] Allyson A La Mode: And that was, I could not suspend my disbelief enough to believe that.

[41:54] Claudia Klinck: It's like, hey, hey, Amber, turn over to Leah and say they're really good. We're not going to tell you what you're commenting on, but it's going to be completely unbelievable.

[42:04] Allyson A La Mode: And remember Eve's School for the Troubled Girls? Well, this is them.

[42:08] Claudia Klinck: Feel old yet?

[42:09] Allyson A La Mode: Feel old? Or what was their school's name?

[42:11] Claudia Klinck: Jane Addams. Remember Jane Addams Academy?

[42:13] Allyson A La Mode: Eve's School, named after Eve.

[42:14] Claudia Klinck: Eve's School.

[42:15] Allyson A La Mode: Eve's School for Troubled Girls. Many of you have gone here. This is them now.

[42:18] Claudia Klinck: Wait, we all agree, okay, as two beautiful Gleek women, can you look at these Gleek girls on the screen and tell me your opinions on the dress?

[42:34] Allyson A La Mode: Terrible.

[42:39] Claudia Klinck: And also they look so, like I can feel what it would feel like to wear them and it's horrible. I can imagine that it's like going up the armpit and it's like scratching the neck and it's like tight in all the wrong places and there's a lot of elastic going on around boobs. It looks terrible.

[42:57] Allyson A La Mode: Is there a competition outfit similar, like in a different color? Or like another one strap vibe?

[43:02] Claudia Klinck: The one strap is absolutely ridiculous. That is just horrible. This is like very frilly and I feel like, are you asking like new directions?

[43:11] Allyson A La Mode: I'm trying to think if like parts of it just reminded me of a different competition outfit, but it's awesome.

[43:18] Claudia Klinck: And then they're all cream color. I believe I can fly stuck in my head. What do they wear for that?

[43:21] Allyson A La Mode: Yeah.

[43:22] Claudia Klinck: Wait, what'd you say?

[43:23] Allyson A La Mode: Fly.

[43:24] Claudia Klinck: I all of a sudden have fly, I believe I can fly stuck in my head, but they're not wearing clothes.

[43:28] Allyson A La Mode: They're not wearing.

[43:29] Claudia Klinck: Are they?

[43:30] Allyson A La Mode: I was like.

[43:32] Claudia Klinck: They're not wearing dresses at all.

[43:34] Allyson A La Mode: No.

[43:35] Claudia Klinck: I was saying that.

[43:36] Allyson A La Mode: The new directions, literally.

[43:37] Claudia Klinck: Literally.

[43:38] Allyson A La Mode: New directions.

[43:39] Claudia Klinck: New directions.

[43:40] Allyson A La Mode: No, they're wearing completely normal outfits.

[43:43] Claudia Klinck: They're not wearing weird.

[43:44] Allyson A La Mode: Okay.

[43:45] Claudia Klinck: One strap to the guy.

[43:46] Allyson A La Mode: They're not wearing anything.

[43:47] Claudia Klinck: That was not a good prophecy that came to mind.

[43:51] Allyson A La Mode: Yeah.

[43:52] Claudia Klinck: The dresses look horrible to wear and as a former competitive dancer when I was in seventh grade, I remember what it was like to wear those itchy things on the stage and it just makes the whole process to be so much worse and I feel bad for those girls because they had their whole heart and pussy in that performance.

[44:11] Allyson A La Mode: They really did.

[44:12] Claudia Klinck: So.

[44:13] Allyson A La Mode: They do.

[44:14] Claudia Klinck: They didn't deserve it to have to wear those ugly dresses.

[44:17] Allyson A La Mode: I always think about when I watch this performance is, I've definitely said this each time that we've watched it on the Glocket, but there's a, I remember watching this performance on YouTube and one of the top comments was, the girl with the blonde hair is my cousin.

[44:36] Allyson A La Mode: And I remember being like, oh my God, this YouTube comment.

[44:42] Claudia Klinck: Their cousin was on Glee.

[44:44] Allyson A La Mode: Yeah.

[44:45] Claudia Klinck: And like, just like being like really starstruck.

[44:48] Allyson A La Mode: Wait, I know this comment, whose cousin was on Glee.

[44:57] Claudia Klinck: And then you start referring to them as your friend.

[44:58] Allyson A La Mode: Oh, my friend's cousin was on Glee.

[45:01] Claudia Klinck: My friend's cousin is actually, they actually met Lea Michele.

[45:05] Allyson A La Mode: That's how I talk about you, Andrew, when you hang out with Kevin and Heather.

[45:10] Claudia Klinck: My friend's cousin is a really good friend.

[45:11] Allyson A La Mode: And they also like, the commenter, I'm old enough to know better. They probably were lying.

[45:15] Claudia Klinck: They probably were lying.

[45:16] Allyson A La Mode: I'm going to say that.

[45:18] Claudia Klinck: I'm going to comment that on some other Glee performance.

[45:21] Allyson A La Mode: And the blonde girl will be Diana Agron.

[45:23] Claudia Klinck: She's my cousin.

[45:25] Allyson A La Mode: The blonde girl is my cousin.

[45:27] Claudia Klinck: Have you looked into any of these like featured, like random featured performers for guests on the Glocket? Like, what is that girl up to?

[45:33] Allyson A La Mode: Oh, I don't know. There was someone I saw on TikTok the other day.

[45:37] Claudia Klinck: Oh.

[45:38] Allyson A La Mode: She's playing Roxy in Chicago on Broadway.

[45:40] Claudia Klinck: Yes.

[45:41] Allyson A La Mode: And be like, you remember her from Glee?

[45:47] Claudia Klinck: The blonde girl on Glee.

[45:50] Allyson A La Mode: Who is the, I think Allison, you would probably know this because I think it's like a Broadway person.

[45:54] Claudia Klinck: The girl that's like next to Neil Patrick Harris in the flashback.

[46:01] Allyson A La Mode: You know what I'm talking about?

[46:02] Claudia Klinck: I just saw her TikTok.

[46:03] Allyson A La Mode: You saw that TikTok.

[46:04] Claudia Klinck: I did see that TikTok.

[46:05] Allyson A La Mode: She's like, I was on Glee.

[46:06] Claudia Klinck: And I was like, who the hell were you?

[46:08] Allyson A La Mode: Exactly.

[46:09] Claudia Klinck: No, literally. And then I was like, but she looks, I forgot.

[46:15] Allyson A La Mode: It was so jarring because I forget that they're playing teenagers and she's standing next to Neil Patrick Harris.

[46:19] Claudia Klinck: And I'm like, how old is she?

[46:21] Allyson A La Mode: And I'm like, oh, no, he's old.

[46:24] Claudia Klinck: You know what I mean?

[46:25] Allyson A La Mode: I was having trouble placing her because I'm like, well, she can't be that old, but I forgot it's fully like a flashback and Neil Patrick Harris is like a 40-year-old man playing a 16-year-old.

[46:35] Claudia Klinck: Yeah.

[46:36] Allyson A La Mode: Don't they have big braces and stuff?

[46:39] Claudia Klinck: It almost feels like against Glee humor to have, you know, it almost feels like a 30 Rock joke to have someone that is very old play a high school student in a flashback.

[46:46] Allyson A La Mode: You know what I mean?

[46:47] Claudia Klinck: Is it giving like George Lopez when he just puts his head on the child's body?

[46:56] Allyson A La Mode: Yes, exactly.

[46:57] Claudia Klinck: Then I'm like, this is funny, but like not Glee funny.

[46:59] Allyson A La Mode: Not in the way that you think.

[47:02] Claudia Klinck: Like the pilot, the cut scene of Mr. Schuster at Nationals, they, it's a different actor and that feels...

[47:10] Allyson A La Mode: And they never, and it's implied that it's him, but nobody, it's just supposed to be a flashback, but nobody ever, it's not like he's cast as Mr. Schuster, is he?

[47:20] Claudia Klinck: I like it.

[47:21] Allyson A La Mode: Uh huh.

[47:22] Claudia Klinck: Uh huh.

[47:23] Allyson A La Mode: Uh huh.

[47:24] Claudia Klinck: Wait, what song does that sound like?

[47:25] Allyson A La Mode: Um, I know what you're singing, but, oh, I'm thinking of Apatow.

[47:30] Claudia Klinck: Uh huh.

[47:31] Allyson A La Mode: Uh huh.

[47:32] Claudia Klinck: Yeah.

[47:33] Allyson A La Mode: Uh huh.

[47:34] Claudia Klinck: Mash up.

[47:36] Allyson A La Mode: Mash up.

[47:37] Claudia Klinck: Um.

[47:38] Allyson A La Mode: What else do we need to say about yeah?

[47:39] Claudia Klinck: Yeah.

[47:40] Allyson A La Mode: More like no.

[47:41] Claudia Klinck: I really love it.

[47:43] Allyson A La Mode: I do stream this probably, I'll say once a month.

[47:46] Claudia Klinck: That's a lot.

[47:47] Allyson A La Mode: That's a lot.

[47:48] Claudia Klinck: It's not good, but.

[47:49] Allyson A La Mode: I love it.

[47:50] Claudia Klinck: You will love it.

[47:51] Allyson A La Mode: I would never stream this gun to my head, like Usher and Ludacris and Little John will carry me through.

[47:58] Claudia Klinck: No.

[47:59] Allyson A La Mode: Make the booty go.

[48:01] Claudia Klinck: It's pitch perfect, coded of course. And I think that it's like, I just like, I think it's so inspired what they do with the arrangement.

[48:07] Allyson A La Mode: Like truthfully.

[48:09] Claudia Klinck: I, yeah.

[48:11] Allyson A La Mode: Okay.

[48:12] Claudia Klinck: Make that white girl do that.

[48:13] Allyson A La Mode: If someone was like, what's Glee like, and I showed them this clip, I would apologize.

[48:17] Claudia Klinck: I'd be like, wait, don't forget about this.

[48:20] Allyson A La Mode: Don't.

[48:21] Claudia Klinck: I've discovered that I've let, I've been dating my girlfriend for almost three years now and I gave up on making her watch Glee like two months into it.

[48:29] Allyson A La Mode: And I need to like recalibrate and get back on that because that is a blind spot she needs to work on.

[48:34] Claudia Klinck: Circle back.

[48:35] Allyson A La Mode: I just kind of realized that.

[48:36] Claudia Klinck: I was like, wait, how did you get away with this?

[48:39] Allyson A La Mode: We have to get back.

[48:40] Claudia Klinck: You know she would, wait, do you think that she would like it?

[48:43] Allyson A La Mode: No.

[48:44] Claudia Klinck: You don't think so?

[48:45] Allyson A La Mode: I mean.

[48:46] Claudia Klinck: I mean, there's different episodes, like you could cater it to like whatever mood or holiday.

[48:49] Allyson A La Mode: You might like one.

[48:51] Claudia Klinck: You might like one.

[48:52] Allyson A La Mode: She likes The Pit and she likes, we're the worst person in the world.

[48:55] Claudia Klinck: I just started The Pit.

[48:56] Allyson A La Mode: I can't watch that shit.

[48:57] Claudia Klinck: I get, I'm so squeamish.

[48:58] Allyson A La Mode: I'm obsessed.

[48:59] Claudia Klinck: It's so scary.

[49:00] Allyson A La Mode: Even the pilot, I had to like walk away because it was too graphic for me.

[49:02] Claudia Klinck: I'm obsessed.

[49:03] Allyson A La Mode: I finished season one. I'm in the middle of season two.

[49:05] Claudia Klinck: I'm obsessed.

[49:06] Allyson A La Mode: There you go.

[49:07] Claudia Klinck: We're ready to pull the next song?

[49:09] Allyson A La Mode: Yep.

[49:10] Claudia Klinck: Let's.

[49:11] Allyson A La Mode: Perfect.

[49:12] Claudia Klinck: Yay.

[49:13] Allyson A La Mode: I thought, perfect?

[49:14] Claudia Klinck: Gleecast versus my Gleecast.

[49:15] Allyson A La Mode: Once or twice.

[49:16] Claudia Klinck: That helped me when I was coming out.

[49:17] Allyson A La Mode: Having gay guys sing pink at me.

[49:18] Claudia Klinck: In a half sweater.

[49:19] Allyson A La Mode: The half sweater.

[49:20] Claudia Klinck: Yay.

[49:21] Allyson A La Mode: Okay.

[49:22] Claudia Klinck: Yay.

[49:23] Allyson A La Mode: Yay.

[49:24] Claudia Klinck: Yay.

[49:25] Allyson A La Mode: Oh my God.

[49:27] Claudia Klinck: This is awesome.

[49:28] Allyson A La Mode: This is maybe the best song I've gotten to watch.

[49:29] Claudia Klinck: She's been a bitch tonight.

[49:30] Allyson A La Mode: Hey, I'm calling you back.

[49:31] Claudia Klinck: Ooh.

[49:32] Allyson A La Mode: She's been a bitch tonight.

[49:33] Claudia Klinck: She's been a bitch tonight.

[49:34] Allyson A La Mode: And by bitch, I mean this train.

[49:35] Claudia Klinck: Wow.

[49:36] Allyson A La Mode: I don't understand how anyone could say that and not be like, That's perfect.

[49:51] Claudia Klinck: Like I don't get it.

[49:52] Allyson A La Mode: I was really in trance.

[49:53] Claudia Klinck: It's like very seldom that I will be like, completely taken out. Forget that we're doing a recording.

[49:59] Allyson A La Mode: That was really so transformative.

[50:01] Claudia Klinck: It's so good.

[50:02] Allyson A La Mode: And it's everything that this beautiful show is to me.

[50:07] Claudia Klinck: Yeah.

[50:08] Allyson A La Mode: It's really...

[50:09] Claudia Klinck: I have a few questions about it.

[50:13] Allyson A La Mode: One, do you think that Lea Michele asked to be over sexualized in season four or it was just something they decided had to be done?

[50:25] Claudia Klinck: Like do you think she's like, Okay, guys, I'm tired of being the nerd, put on my slutty smokey eye and Santana Lopez dresses now?

[50:35] Allyson A La Mode: Well, that's like when she sheds her Rachel and just becomes like herself.

[50:40] Claudia Klinck: Yeah.

[50:41] Allyson A La Mode: Yeah.

[50:42] Claudia Klinck: So I'm just curious if that was written or she was like, Please, I want to be a sex symbol now.

[50:48] Allyson A La Mode: I want to be hot.

[50:51] Claudia Klinck: I want to be hot.

[50:52] Allyson A La Mode: I want to be a sex symbol.

[50:53] Claudia Klinck: When people think of sex, they think about me.

[50:58] Allyson A La Mode: Me.

[50:59] Claudia Klinck: Yeah, Lea Michele.

[51:00] Allyson A La Mode: So I'm just curious about that. And I'm also interested in the actor playing Brody, like, what was his method?

[51:07] Claudia Klinck: Was he a method actor, like just being that chill of a guy around all these gay guys?

[51:12] Allyson A La Mode: Because he's like doing the choreography, like, sloppily, like, I'm just like a chill kind of guy.

[51:17] Claudia Klinck: But he's also a musical theater major.

[51:21] Allyson A La Mode: So he, you know, he's been around these gay guys for a few years.

[51:26] Claudia Klinck: For a long, long time.

[51:27] Allyson A La Mode: That's what I'm saying. And he's got a waxed chest.

[51:29] Claudia Klinck: He's like, okay, I know how they get down.

[51:31] Allyson A La Mode: I get it.

[51:32] Claudia Klinck: Let me just play it kind of cool.

[51:35] Allyson A La Mode: I was just interested in seeing him there.

[51:37] Claudia Klinck: I've seen them do this performance before. I've heard this arrangement before.

[51:39] Allyson A La Mode: It's fantastic.

[51:40] Claudia Klinck: This is my favorite one.

[51:44] Allyson A La Mode: I love this one.

[51:46] Claudia Klinck: This was your best work yet, Isabelle.

[51:49] Allyson A La Mode: That's my question, basically.

[51:53] Claudia Klinck: Everything else is very clear, crystal clear that this is excellent.

[51:56] Allyson A La Mode: I have a question about the lore for the PH Glee historian.

[52:02] Claudia Klinck: At what point, so did Willem exit before filming?

[52:07] Allyson A La Mode: Or like, what was the deal?

[52:10] Claudia Klinck: Willem?

[52:11] Allyson A La Mode: That's what I, okay, so I actually don't have an answer to that.

[52:13] Claudia Klinck: Okay.

[52:14] Allyson A La Mode: Because I don't even think that I see, do you see Willem at all in anything?

[52:17] Claudia Klinck: No.

[52:18] Allyson A La Mode: And Willem is a drag queen.

[52:21] Claudia Klinck: Who famously.

[52:22] Allyson A La Mode: Willem Dafoe.

[52:23] Claudia Klinck: Dafoe.

[52:24] Allyson A La Mode: Willem Dafoe.

[52:25] Claudia Klinck: Dafoe was in this scene, and he declined to participate.

[52:29] Allyson A La Mode: Well, Lea Michele pissed Willem Dafoe off so badly that he walked off set.

[52:35] Claudia Klinck: She walked off set.

[52:36] Allyson A La Mode: And I was, I wasn't sure the timeline of how that happened, like, after they had already filmed scenes, or if they were just like, I'm not even gonna be in this at all, fuck this.

[52:44] Claudia Klinck: Yeah, I just remember being kind of like, frustrated that Willem said that in 2020 when it was like a bunch of, like, people of color that were complaining about Lea Michele.

[52:55] Allyson A La Mode: And Willem was like, and me too.

[52:58] Claudia Klinck: And she's not racist, she hates everybody equally.

[53:03] Allyson A La Mode: Equally.

[53:04] Claudia Klinck: Drag queens included.

[53:06] Allyson A La Mode: Willem is proof.

[53:11] Claudia Klinck: Well, I sort of hate that I'm sharing this story in a public forum, but that's okay. They'll never listen to this.

[53:17] Allyson A La Mode: He, when we went to go see Titanic, one of the times that we went to go see it, we were waiting for Lindsay Heather Pierce to come out.

[53:28] Claudia Klinck: And Willem was just like, kind of like standing around, and came up to us and was like, hey, and like talking and everything.

[53:33] Allyson A La Mode: And like, the conversation was like, okay, like, it was Willem in it?

[53:38] Claudia Klinck: Willem was the captain.

[53:39] Allyson A La Mode: Oh, wow.

[53:40] Claudia Klinck: Okay. And, and so Willem, like, it was like, an okay conversation with like, nothing really notable.

[53:47] Allyson A La Mode: And then later, the next day, I saw, Willem posted to his story, he was like, hey, there was a really cute guy in a purple jacket that like, if you're seeing this, I, it sounds like I'm making this up.

[54:01] Claudia Klinck: If you're seeing this, like, and I told Elias, and he was like, he was wearing the purple jacket, of course.

[54:05] Allyson A La Mode: And he was like, that's, and he didn't, he didn't work, like, do anything about it.

[54:13] Claudia Klinck: But I thought it was crazy.

[54:14] Allyson A La Mode: Oh my god.

[54:15] Claudia Klinck: I would be gagged.

[54:16] Allyson A La Mode: Elias is just such a cutie.

[54:18] Claudia Klinck: I know.

[54:19] Allyson A La Mode: And he's like, really, he could not believe Willem, Willem Dafoe.

[54:23] Claudia Klinck: That's like a modern day, a modern day Craigslist misconnection.

[54:26] Allyson A La Mode: Yes.

[54:27] Claudia Klinck: Beautiful.

[54:28] Allyson A La Mode: Yeah.

[54:29] Claudia Klinck: That's really beautiful.

[54:30] Allyson A La Mode: So, um, Prez Hilton is not in this number.

[54:33] Claudia Klinck: Okay.

[54:34] Allyson A La Mode: Thank, thank you for saying that. Because I was like, it looks like Ozempic Perez Hilton, the bleach blonde.

[54:40] Claudia Klinck: There's two.

[54:42] Allyson A La Mode: There's two.

[54:43] Claudia Klinck: They're twins.

[54:44] Allyson A La Mode: In the performance, yeah, there, it's like, Glistener Joe, you're listening right now. You were the one that broke the news to me, because I was always under the impression I was like, oh, that was Perez Hilton. And then Joe was like, no, actually, this is, it's these dancers, like they're Ariana Grande dancers.

[55:01] Claudia Klinck: Oh, they're twins.

[55:04] Allyson A La Mode: I'm a fake fan.

[55:05] Claudia Klinck: Yeah.

[55:06] Allyson A La Mode: Oh my gosh.

[55:07] Claudia Klinck: Perez Hilton not in the episode.

[55:08] Allyson A La Mode: But he was in an earlier episode, of course.

[55:11] Claudia Klinck: Shangela looked great.

[55:12] Allyson A La Mode: I was thinking you were talking about Paris, by the way.

[55:15] Claudia Klinck: Perez Hilton.

[55:16] Allyson A La Mode: Perez Hilton.

[55:17] Claudia Klinck: The entire time.

[55:18] Allyson A La Mode: Perez Hilton's not in this number, but Paris is.

[55:20] Claudia Klinck: But Paris is.

[55:21] Allyson A La Mode: A lot.

[55:22] Claudia Klinck: She was sitting next to Willem Dafoe.

[55:23] Allyson A La Mode: Yes.

[55:24] Claudia Klinck: This is my alternate reality.

[55:28] Allyson A La Mode: It's the, what is it? The Pal Chums version of Let's Have a Kiki.

[55:34] Claudia Klinck: Paris Hilton.

[55:35] Allyson A La Mode: And Willem Dafoe.

[55:36] Claudia Klinck: It's absolutely star-studded.

[55:39] Allyson A La Mode: Sarah Jessica Parker's arms looked great.

[55:42] Claudia Klinck: Definitely.

[55:43] Allyson A La Mode: She was doing her little choreo.

[55:45] Claudia Klinck: Um, yeah, I feel like this particular, like, flash mob-esque thing could be happening in any gay guy's apartment in either San Francisco or New York at any given time.

[55:57] Allyson A La Mode: So people want to say, like, oh, this is like a crazy-ass number. And I'm just like, this is just a Friday night, honestly.

[56:04] Claudia Klinck: This, what I will say is that, because like, canonically, I feel like this has to be like, 7pm, 8pm that they're doing this.

[56:15] Allyson A La Mode: On Thanksgiving.

[56:16] Claudia Klinck: Yes, on Thanksgiving.

[56:18] Allyson A La Mode: She's been a bitch tonight.

[56:19] Claudia Klinck: I think that it would be far more likely for this to be a 3am activity.

[56:23] Allyson A La Mode: Right.

[56:24] Claudia Klinck: It's too early for that.

[56:25] Allyson A La Mode: These gay guys.

[56:26] Claudia Klinck: They get so tired after.

[56:27] Allyson A La Mode: These gay guys are all like, they're all on like a different plane of existence right now.

[56:33] Claudia Klinck: And they're like, we need Vogue in a 19-year-old's apartment.

[56:37] Allyson A La Mode: Right.

[56:38] Claudia Klinck: It's definitely an afters activity.

[56:40] Allyson A La Mode: They could have been 18.

[56:43] Claudia Klinck: Keep that in mind.

[56:44] Allyson A La Mode: They could have been 18.

[56:45] Claudia Klinck: Um, okay. Do you want to say anything final about, uh, turkiki?

[56:52] Allyson A La Mode: Turkiki.

[56:53] Claudia Klinck: Turkiki.

[56:54] Allyson A La Mode: Um, I think I've said it on this podcast, but two Thanksgivings ago, I made my family watch this.

[56:59] Claudia Klinck: I don't think it was even the whole episode. I think I just put the YouTube video on the TV.

[57:04] Allyson A La Mode: And my dad was like, also transfixed.

[57:07] Claudia Klinck: Like he was just like watching it really intently and like really curious about what was going on.

[57:12] Allyson A La Mode: This tested really well with my dad too.

[57:14] Claudia Klinck: It tested.

[57:15] Allyson A La Mode: Yeah, this is good.

[57:16] Claudia Klinck: Dads love it.

[57:17] Allyson A La Mode: Or maybe they don't love it, but they're interested.

[57:19] Claudia Klinck: Your son likes this?

[57:21] Allyson A La Mode: My son loves this song.

[57:22] Claudia Klinck: I actually posted a TikTok.

[57:23] Allyson A La Mode: I showed it to him on Thanksgiving and I, and he unironically loves this song.

[57:29] Claudia Klinck: And now he like, he's like work and twerk.

[57:32] Allyson A La Mode: And like one of his vocal stems.

[57:36] Claudia Klinck: How old was he when he first saw turkiki?

[57:39] Allyson A La Mode: Seven.

[57:40] Claudia Klinck: He's still seven.

[57:41] Allyson A La Mode: I just showed it to him this past Thanksgiving.

[57:43] Claudia Klinck: And so I posted a TikTok of him dancing.

[57:46] Allyson A La Mode: And I was like, and I posted, I said the caption, like my son unironically, this is his favorite song on Glee.

[57:51] Claudia Klinck: And he's like dancing and he's like work and twerk hunty.

[57:54] Allyson A La Mode: Yes.

[57:55] Claudia Klinck: It's like, there's something that is like activated in like the human experience with this.

[58:00] Allyson A La Mode: I thought you said as the performance was starting, Claudia, this is the most innovative thing that Glee has ever done.

[58:04] Claudia Klinck: Yes, it is.

[58:06] Allyson A La Mode: It is.

[58:07] Claudia Klinck: It involves the city of New York. It involves guest stars, cultural references.

[58:13] Allyson A La Mode: I personally mashup great arrangement.

[58:16] Claudia Klinck: I love gimmicks.

[58:19] Allyson A La Mode: So the fact that it's inherently Thanksgiving themed within Thanksgiving episode is important to me.

[58:23] Claudia Klinck: Like people are like, Oh my God, the turkey lurkey element is like, Oh, whatever.

[58:27] Allyson A La Mode: It was just kiki.

[58:28] Claudia Klinck: It would be a great cover.

[58:31] Allyson A La Mode: While I don't like listening to turkey lurkey, as much as I enjoy the kiki part, the fact that they're together is important for it being a Thanksgiving themed and the holiday themed moment.

[58:43] Claudia Klinck: And it's very innovative.

[58:45] Allyson A La Mode: They were definitely, I feel like they were getting back to like what Glee is and what Glee feels like, which is like camp because like what we're like in season four.

[58:57] Claudia Klinck: So they're still trying to like, they're losing steam a little bit, but they were picking up like getting back to their roots with this one.

[59:04] Allyson A La Mode: Totally.

[59:05] Claudia Klinck: And I, to this day, I'll never understand why this was like the only song that they released the mashup version.

[59:10] Allyson A La Mode: And also just Let's Have a Kiki as like its own track on iTunes, which I'm like, do you know about this?

[59:19] Claudia Klinck: No.

[59:20] Allyson A La Mode: Now I'm pulling up that music.

[59:22] Claudia Klinck: So there's two different versions. So I think that they were like so unsure of like, this just won't work as a mashup.

[59:30] Allyson A La Mode: So we need to also put it out like this.

[59:33] Claudia Klinck: It's just excellent though.

[59:34] Allyson A La Mode: Oh my God.

[59:36] Claudia Klinck: Yeah.

[59:37] Allyson A La Mode: Both.

[59:38] Claudia Klinck: Talk about today years old.

[59:41] Allyson A La Mode: Everybody remembers where they were when they found out.

[59:44] Claudia Klinck: Let's Have a Kiki and then Let's Have a Kiki Turkey Lurkey Time.

[59:48] Allyson A La Mode: I think I have Let's Have a Kiki on my playlist and I don't have the mashup because I didn't like I shouldn't think about it.

[59:55] Claudia Klinck: They made it for you.

[59:56] Allyson A La Mode: They made it for me.

[59:57] Claudia Klinck: I also think on top of everything else.

[1:00:30] Andrew: Of course, Promises, Promises.

[1:00:32] Allyson: Interesting.

[1:00:33] Claudia: Two seasons. Six, yeah.

[1:00:34] Andrew: Oh, season six, season six.

[1:00:36] Allyson: Love it.

[1:00:37] Claudia: Her audition for...

[1:00:38] Allyson: Don't get me started. We already talked about it on my episode.

[1:00:41] Andrew: Makes no big sense.

[1:00:44] Claudia: She performs Promises, Promises for a Jay-Z musical on Broadway which became Hell's Kitchen.

[1:00:54] Allyson: It's just, imagine her auditioning for Hell's Kitchen.

[1:00:58] Claudia: Wait, it wasn't Jay-Z.

[1:01:01] Allyson: Sorry, Russell Wilson.

[1:01:02] Claudia: Russell Brand.

[1:01:04] Allyson: Russell Crowe.

[1:01:06] Claudia: Russell Simmons.

[1:01:07] Allyson: Thank you, God.

[1:01:08] Claudia: Yeah.

[1:01:08] Allyson: Please don't take my black card.

[1:01:10] Claudia: Russell Crowe.

[1:01:11] Allyson: Russell Simmons.

[1:01:12] Claudia: And Jessie is also in the...

[1:01:15] Allyson: We have talked about this.

[1:01:16] Claudia: We have talked about this.

[1:01:17] Allyson: This is so funny.

[1:01:19] Claudia: Russell Simmons who primarily works with black talent.

[1:01:23] Allyson: The fact that Jessie is the lead.

[1:01:27] Claudia: And also Rachel.

[1:01:28] Allyson: Russell Simmons of one DMC.

[1:01:31] Claudia: I like did not realize that that's what that musical element was.

[1:01:35] Allyson: Oh, I was like, this was season six?

[1:01:37] Claudia: And Mercedes was like, I'm friends with Russell Simmons.

[1:01:40] Allyson: Right.

[1:01:42] Claudia: I'm not in the show, but like, I'm casting two white elites.

[1:01:45] Allyson: But you know who would be perfect for it?

[1:01:47] Claudia: Former.

[1:01:47] Allyson: You.

[1:01:48] Claudia: And former vocal adrenaline coach.

[1:01:50] Allyson: Canonically, what has he been up to?

[1:01:53] Claudia: What?

[1:01:53] Allyson: That's true.

[1:01:54] Claudia: What does he do?

[1:01:55] Allyson: He lives in New York.

[1:01:56] Claudia: That's so funny.

[1:01:57] Allyson: I did not realize that that was.

[1:02:01] Claudia: I didn't know this was happening.

[1:02:02] Allyson: I did not know this was happening.

[1:02:04] Claudia: So I mean, this competition can go any way, really.

[1:02:10] Allyson: It's anybody's game.

[1:02:12] Claudia: An icon versus let's have a kiki.

[1:02:17] Allyson: Just kidding.

[1:02:18] Claudia: Just kidding, guys.

[1:02:20] Allyson: That was a joke.

[1:02:21] Claudia: Gotcha.

[1:02:24] Allyson: Should I vote?

[1:02:26] Claudia: Me.

[1:02:27] Allyson: I think you should.

[1:02:28] Claudia: Okay, I vote.

[1:02:28] Allyson: Let's have a kiki turkey lurkey time because it's awesome.

[1:02:32] Claudia: And I love it.

[1:02:33] Allyson: Heart emoji.

[1:02:34] Claudia: I am voting for let's have a kiki turkey lurkey.

[1:02:37] Allyson: The turkey key of it all.

[1:02:39] Claudia: Turkey.

[1:02:39] Allyson: The turkey key.

[1:02:40] Claudia: Oh my god.

[1:02:41] Allyson: I'm so glad that I said that because it's definitely a title of app.

[1:02:47] Claudia: And it's definitely title of app.

[1:02:49] Allyson: When you say something and you're like, yeah.

[1:02:52] Claudia: That's it in real life.

[1:02:54] Allyson: I was kind of spitting.

[1:02:57] Claudia: Yeah, it's yeah, it's gonna be no.

[1:03:00] Allyson: Oh, it's gonna be.

[1:03:01] Claudia: Let's have a kiki.

[1:03:02] Allyson: It's a no for me, dog.

[1:03:03] Claudia: Turkey key is a party or calling on or calming.

[1:03:07] Allyson: Yeah, no.

[1:03:08] Claudia: Yeah, that's gonna be a no.

[1:03:10] Allyson: Anyone notice that I parted my hair on the side today?

[1:03:13] Claudia: It looks pretty fun.

[1:03:17] Allyson: Did anyone notice this is the first we've met, but I didn't.

[1:03:23] Claudia: Today.

[1:03:24] Allyson: I mean, I always wear it like this.

[1:03:27] Claudia: You should do that.

[1:03:31] Allyson: The really interesting thing about this competition that's going to happen is that when we see what the competition is, we will also have the final competition of the round as well.

[1:03:41] Claudia: True.

[1:03:42] Allyson: Oh, wow.

[1:03:43] Claudia: Let's try.

[1:03:44] Allyson: Who's gonna be in the finale?

[1:03:46] Claudia: Is that a surprise?

[1:03:48] Allyson: I don't know.

[1:03:49] Claudia: He doesn't even know.

[1:03:51] Allyson: So you're gonna channel, you're gonna feed an AI algorithm, all of the Instagram Gleeks responses to your stories.

[1:03:59] Claudia: And then you're gonna ask that Instagram Gleek AI who won the competition.

[1:04:05] Allyson: I was thinking about like, if it's like a really contested one, I think it probably will be a big competition because he has out of the picture.

[1:04:12] Claudia: If it was like if yeah, was included, then kind of like all the steam.

[1:04:16] Allyson: Yeah.

[1:04:16] Claudia: Would be taken out of it.

[1:04:17] Allyson: But I was thinking about like, just like saying like, hey, here are the final two songs. What is like send in a voice memo to vote? And it would just be like a whole panel of people.

[1:04:29] Claudia: Nice.

[1:04:29] Allyson: You know what I mean?

[1:04:30] Claudia: Yeah, I like that.

[1:04:31] Allyson: That's cute.

[1:04:31] Claudia: Okay, thank you.

[1:04:34] Allyson: Okay, so the this song is actually really excited to talk about this because the past two times that this song has been on the Glackett, it's been with Glee Project people.

[1:04:44] Claudia: Wide awake.

[1:04:48] Allyson: It's so good.

[1:04:49] Claudia: It's like we can finally have a conversation.

[1:04:51] Allyson: Yeah.

[1:04:51] Claudia: Just yeah.

[1:04:52] Allyson: Okay.

[1:04:52] Claudia: You know what? That's just the real ones.

[1:04:56] Allyson: I was cracking up the entire time.

[1:04:57] Claudia: Oh my god.

[1:04:59] Allyson: I'm so glad you that was so scary to watch her.

[1:05:05] Claudia: Okay, so audio medium. I'll include it. I'll post it as well.

[1:05:08] Allyson: Audio medium. There's Penny, her head is rested on Sam's shoulder. And then she gets up and then looks into the camera like almost like...

[1:05:19] Claudia: It's so scary.

[1:05:19] Allyson: Yeah, I was cuddling with a high school student.

[1:05:24] Claudia: Sarah Jessica Parker is taking all the drag queens and the gay guys to the 18 year old apartment.

[1:05:29] Allyson: And Penny's going and bumping uglies with the set at most.

[1:05:34] Claudia: 18 at most.

[1:05:38] Allyson: Hope to God he's 18.

[1:05:39] Claudia: I hope he's 18.

[1:05:40] Allyson: Best case scenario.

[1:05:41] Claudia: Best case scenario he's 18.

[1:05:44] Allyson: I like really lost it. I'm in a really silly goofy mood today.

[1:05:49] Claudia: Yay!

[1:05:50] Allyson: Silly goofy mood.

[1:05:51] Claudia: I really lost it thinking about the idea of like almost like a historically accurate nurse being nurse Penny.

[1:05:57] Allyson: Like kind of like the stereotypical like old lady.

[1:06:00] Claudia: You know, like the Martina, you ready? Like, let's go.

[1:06:10] Allyson: You know, like the secretary walk.

[1:06:13] Claudia: Yeah. Thinking about like that kind of woman. Just like holding hands with this 18 year old going to see the finale of the Lady Gaga, Katy Perry-off.

[1:06:24] Allyson: But okay, the fact that Mr. Schuster doesn't say anything that he comes, his student comes in holding her hand.

[1:06:32] Claudia: No, there's a shot when they first sit down that like, wait, I need to, I need to pull it up because it's so funny.

[1:06:39] Allyson: There's so much that happens in this performance.

[1:06:43] Claudia: Watch Mr. Schuster because like he has like a moment of like bewilderment.

[1:06:52] Allyson: Okay, and you know what? People want to drag Mr. Schuster and that is the moment of clarity. Like he's literally like, um, and y'all are mad at me. That's my colleague.

[1:07:02] Claudia: All the actors that were seated in the audience were like, given such little to do in the episode. You have to believe because the clip of Darren that they hold on for so long, and he's just like, like, he's just reacting for a really long time.

[1:07:17] Allyson: Is he like high?

[1:07:19] Claudia: No, he looks dizzy.

[1:07:20] Allyson: He looks, he's like, they just were really doing something there. I don't know why.

[1:07:24] Claudia: When I think of this performance, I always picture Artie reacting to Unique because literally saying, but I live for Kevin's reactions because you know that they're like so genuine.

[1:07:35] Allyson: And that's the only reason, I feel like that reaction is the only reason I know that they're reacting to the performance. But Darren's face, he, I feel like they just filmed maybe separately. And he's just like, he was in the puppet master gas chamber room.

[1:07:52] Claudia: Mercedes turns to Rachel during this performance and says, they're really good. Really good.

[1:07:58] Allyson: I find it interesting. I mean, it's obviously such a beautiful arrangement. And everybody's singing their asses off. And I feel like I forget. I like forget Jenna can sing sometimes, which is horrible.

[1:08:12] Claudia: And it's like, never forget what they took from her because she obviously is like professionally trained Broadway performer. And they did such, they did so little with her voice. But like when I'm thinking of the top vocalists, I'm not thinking of any of the people on the stage except for Unique.

[1:08:29] Allyson: And it's really interesting the way that they put the four of their voices together and gave Alex a really strong part to sing while also giving the three of them really interesting things to do and interesting harmonies. And I guess they all kind of have a little bit of ad libs going on.

[1:08:47] Claudia: Yeah.

[1:08:47] Allyson: But I love the combination of it. I feel like this is a popular opinion. But I think that this is Becca Tobin's best vocal.

[1:08:54] Claudia: Yeah.

[1:08:56] Allyson: Right?

[1:08:57] Claudia: I think it's her most earnest vocal.

[1:09:00] Allyson: Because I feel like her most earnest vocal.

[1:09:04] Claudia: Yeah.

[1:09:04] Allyson: Because I feel like in a lot of the performances, she's like, for lack of a better word, performing, but being performative-ish. Like even like holding out for a hero. She's like playing this, you know what I'm saying? Compared to this where she's just earnestly singing very stripped down.

[1:09:18] Claudia: I think a lot like so between Tina and Jake and Kitty, all of their voices are good compliments to the lead vocalist in whatever performance they're performing. So when they do have their solos, you're like, oh, wait, you actually sound great.

[1:09:33] Allyson: But I-

[1:09:33] Claudia: Sounds really great. I could say the same thing about Heather. Like I like Heather's complimentary voice versus maybe some of her solos aren't as strong. But she sounds great on duets and group numbers like this.

[1:09:43] Allyson: They're just like a little bit like too high sometimes.

[1:09:46] Claudia: Yeah, yeah.

[1:09:47] Allyson: This doesn't, I feel like it doesn't like capture your essence as well about like what's a really good, like a wishing and hoping, you know, or like her line in The Scientist, which I love.

[1:10:00] Claudia: Yeah.

[1:10:03] Allyson: The actress that plays Nurse Penny.

[1:10:06] Claudia: So she's from...

[1:10:07] Allyson: Phoebe Stroll.

[1:10:08] Claudia: Phoebe Stroll.

[1:10:09] Allyson: She's from the original Broadway cast of Spring Awakening.

[1:10:12] Claudia: And I feel like the bootleg that everyone is raised on with the original Broadway cast, except for what's her name? Lolo, Lauren something. She's the original Ilsa in Spring Awakening, but in this bootleg, it's Phoebe Stroll. So for the longest time, I just associated her with the role of Ilsa, but she's not.

[1:10:29] Allyson: She's like, I think ensemble or understudy, but that's like whenever I see her, I just picture her in that Spring Awakening bootleg.

[1:10:43] Claudia: Yeah.

[1:10:44] Allyson: Because that's the one that like went super, like imagine the one bootleg. I mean, things were different back then, but the one bootleg that goes super viral was the day you call out of work.

[1:10:52] Claudia: Yeah.

[1:10:54] Allyson: Well, fuck my drag.

[1:10:55] Claudia: Right.

[1:10:56] Allyson: This is a sleeper.

[1:10:57] Claudia: It's a good, it's a good song.

[1:10:59] Allyson: Sleeper hit.

[1:11:00] Claudia: Sleeper hit for sure.

[1:11:01] Allyson: Yes, yes, yes.

[1:11:02] Claudia: You're not going honk, chew, honk, chew.

[1:11:04] Allyson: I mean, I may be compelled to stream this over the original for sure.

[1:11:08] Claudia: Oh, without a doubt.

[1:11:10] Allyson: Yeah.

[1:11:11] Claudia: It's a conversation for best Jenna vocal, more than a feeling.

[1:11:14] Allyson: This, what do we think? Vocal on a group number or solo?

[1:11:19] Claudia: I don't know.

[1:11:20] Allyson: Generally.

[1:11:21] Claudia: Because I think we talk a lot about more, more than a feeling.

[1:11:23] Allyson: No, what? I just don't know what the conversation is.

[1:11:26] Claudia: What is the, I personally, I love an ABC.

[1:11:31] Allyson: Sure, sure.

[1:11:32] Claudia: True Colors, True Colors.

[1:11:33] Allyson: True Colors, really.

[1:11:33] Claudia: True Colors is the other one.

[1:11:35] Allyson: I love Dog Day.

[1:11:36] Claudia: I do love her on Dog Day.

[1:11:37] Allyson: Dog Day, yeah.

[1:11:38] Claudia: Shake it out.

[1:11:39] Allyson: She's got a lot of great stuff.

[1:11:40] Claudia: Yeah, I was going to say, wait a minute. There's a lot of.

[1:11:43] Allyson: I just feel like sometimes the solos are lacking.

[1:11:46] Claudia: Yeah.

[1:11:47] Allyson: The few and far between that we got. Like, I, unfortunately, I'm not crazy about Because You Loved Me.

[1:11:54] Claudia: I'm not crazy about, what's another one?

[1:11:59] Allyson: I Don't Know How To Love Him.

[1:12:00] Claudia: I don't know.

[1:12:01] Allyson: Yes.

[1:12:01] Claudia: Oh, I Don't Know How To Love Him.

[1:12:02] Allyson: Yeah.

[1:12:03] Claudia: It's just like, they make it really musical theater singing in the locker room, which is exactly how they have her sing that. It's like, yeah, okay. I feel like any person who did musical theater could sing this like this. Not that it's bad, but yeah, I definitely agree.

[1:12:20] Allyson: I also feel like a lot of the times when she is, you know, featured vocalist in a duet, it's with Amber Riley, who is just like going to generally be the more memorable vocalist in a pairing a lot of times.

[1:12:30] Claudia: So this time they put her with Alex Newell.

[1:12:35] Allyson: Right.

[1:12:36] Claudia: It's like, okay, good news, Jenna. Mercedes isn't in this number.

[1:12:42] Allyson: But guess what?

[1:12:46] Claudia: Kitty is.

[1:12:46] Allyson: She's like, yes, yes, yes.

[1:12:48] Claudia: Okay, okay.

[1:12:49] Allyson: Jake is.

[1:12:50] Claudia: All right.

[1:12:50] Allyson: Okay, okay, okay.

[1:12:52] Claudia: And Unique.

[1:12:53] Allyson: Fuck.

[1:12:56] Claudia: Heating up in front of the entire New Directions.

[1:12:59] Allyson: Also, I need to bring up the shot. Last thing I want to say about this performance, the shot of all of the white guys and Penny in the audience. And it literally, me and Elias, because we've watched Katy Gaga so many times at this point, that of course is the toe shot.

[1:13:21] Claudia: So they look like a bunch of toes sitting in the audience.

[1:13:24] Allyson: In a foot.

[1:13:25] Claudia: It's because we have Penny, we have Sam, we have Mr. Chu.

[1:13:28] Allyson: Toe shot is correct.

[1:13:30] Claudia: Toe shot.

[1:13:32] Allyson: Well, I was going to say, so this is a competition in terms of the two groups. And did they say who won?

[1:13:40] Claudia: Oh, yeah.

[1:13:40] Allyson: Between the Katies and the Gagas. Did they ever say who won?

[1:13:43] Claudia: It doesn't ever matter.

[1:13:43] Allyson: Because it was the Marley being disqualified versus this.

[1:13:48] Claudia: Kind of ruined the vibe.

[1:13:50] Allyson: Right.

[1:13:51] Claudia: So.

[1:13:53] Allyson: Would applause be considered their entry?

[1:13:54] Claudia: I was just going to say, who do you think wins? Is applause their entry?

[1:13:57] Allyson: Applause is their entry.

[1:13:59] Claudia: Yeah.

[1:13:59] Allyson: Which is great.

[1:14:00] Claudia: I love applause.

[1:14:02] Allyson: But I do like this.

[1:14:03] Claudia: I like this.

[1:14:04] Allyson: And I appreciate the sentiment. They're like, oh, we need to strip everything back. But then you're competing with this big ass number. You didn't even organize a nice outfit.

[1:14:12] Claudia: You could strip back the vocals and still have production value.

[1:14:16] Allyson: Which they did not. It's also just hilarious for it to be the two polar opposites are Lady Gaga and famously stripped down, bare faced, simple, normal girl, Katy Perry.

[1:14:31] Claudia: Simple.

[1:14:32] Allyson: When I look, when I think of Katy Perry, I think of the cupcake bra. Like, that's not.

[1:14:37] Claudia: Right.

[1:14:37] Allyson: And I feel like it's just so confusing to put those as the two genders. I mean, you talked about this before. I feel like they were kind of going toward like Taylor Swift. Like it would be like a Gaga Swift.

[1:14:46] Claudia: Doesn't roll off the tongue.

[1:14:49] Allyson: A Swiftie or a Gaga.

[1:14:50] Claudia: No, but it was also, they were playing into like the album sales feud that was happening at the time. That like, I remember, like, I don't know if this was true or not. But there were like guys that were prostituting themselves for art pop sales.

[1:15:06] Allyson: They were like, all the money that they make prostituting will go to help.

[1:15:09] Claudia: To buying art pop.

[1:15:20] Allyson: Well, because...

[1:15:21] Claudia: It's like Barbenheimer. Are you a Barbie or an Oppenheimer?

[1:15:25] Allyson: We need to get Glee back on the air so we can do Barbenheimer.

[1:15:28] Claudia: We need to have these conversations.

[1:15:29] Allyson: So yeah. No, but I think that Wide Awake wins. I think boring answer. Wide Awake wins because Applause was disqualified.

[1:15:34] Claudia: Oh, well, that's a boring answer.

[1:15:40] Allyson: Right?

[1:15:41] Claudia: I prefer this performance. But if you're judging it based on performance, I feel like Applause has to win, even though it was like so ridiculous. Because it had the vocals and the set and the costumes.

[1:15:51] Allyson: There was no choreography in the words of Jonathan Groff. Where was your choreography?

[1:15:55] Claudia: They were sitting on stools.

[1:15:59] Allyson: Um, that's a stool line, right?

[1:16:04] Claudia: Right.

[1:16:05] Allyson: That is.

[1:16:06] Claudia: Literally.

[1:16:07] Allyson: Sitting on stools.

[1:16:11] Claudia: Um, okay. I was like, what is that voice that you're doing, Andrew?

[1:16:14] Allyson: They were sitting on stools.

[1:16:16] Claudia: Like John Mulaney.

[1:16:17] Allyson: They were sitting on stools.

[1:16:21] Claudia: Okay, here it is.

[1:16:23] Allyson: Oh, no, no, no. I was fearing this might happen.

[1:16:29] Claudia: Oh, I know.

[1:16:30] Allyson: I know what it is.

[1:16:32] Claudia: I'm scared.

[1:16:33] Allyson: Do you know what this is?

[1:16:34] Claudia: I don't know.

[1:16:34] Allyson: If you're saying you fear it might happen.

[1:16:36] Claudia: Well, all of them are good, except there's one that you don't like that much. So I'm thinking it's not that one.

[1:16:40] Allyson: So the last competition is Banger.

[1:16:44] Claudia: Um, Banger Banger.

[1:16:46] Allyson: This one I feel is the least banger of the three options.

[1:16:49] Claudia: So it's Tina Off.

[1:16:50] Allyson: It's, it is a Tina Off.

[1:16:53] Claudia: Okay.

[1:16:53] Allyson: Finale.

[1:16:55] Claudia: I know who needs to win. And if it doesn't go my way, I will have a word with you.

[1:17:00] Allyson: Perfect.

[1:17:02] Claudia: Okay, great. Let's get started.

[1:17:06] Allyson: Um, okay. Of course, the song here is...

[1:17:08] Claudia: I love her.

[1:17:09] Allyson: You guys don't get it.

[1:17:11] Claudia: I do.

[1:17:12] Allyson: Okay, let me lock in. Let me lock in.

[1:17:14] Claudia: Did anybody see Emma's dance?

[1:17:16] Allyson: The one shot was like...

[1:17:17] Claudia: This one?

[1:17:17] Allyson: No, I did not.

[1:17:19] Claudia: Yeah.

[1:17:20] Allyson: Audio medium, it's like, just like two fists kind of just like going, it's like you're almost like rubbing your wrists together.

[1:17:28] Claudia: Your wrists.

[1:17:29] Allyson: Yeah. What do you want to say about this?

[1:17:31] Claudia: Why don't you go first? Because you hate this song.

[1:17:33] Allyson: Okay, so I don't hate it. I think that I hate you.

[1:17:36] Claudia: I just like had like such an evolution with this song over the years. 2013 or yeah, probably like 2012. They announced like late 2012. They announced, um, Tina would be singing this song. And I remember immediately without having anything to back it, I thought because this was at the era when the last bit of like Glee news that we knew was that Blaine and Tina were going to join the Cheerios. And so I was like, oh, I didn't know that was just going to be like a thing for one episode. I thought it was going to be like a continued thing. And I was like, okay, headcanon. Tina's going to sing this Cheerios led number. And I was like, oh, that's so fun. And that's a great idea. I just had. That's a great idea, Andrew. I know they'll do that because they make good choices. And so they didn't do that.

[1:18:25] Claudia: However, but I was like, this is in my era when I was like, when I would drive to school, I would make a CD of all the songs that they were going to be singing on Glee soon. And so I would like get myself ready. This was a multiple times a day stream for me, Madonna version, that I think that I kind of like did a backwards thing of listening too much to the original that when the Glee version came out that I was like, um, I'm still keeping the original. You know what I mean?

[1:18:55] Allyson: Yeah.

[1:18:56] Claudia: I like the original that lives up here.

[1:18:58] Allyson: I love the...

[1:18:58] Claudia: Yeah, I because I think if I listened to the Glee version first, I think that maybe I would have fucked with it more. But...

[1:19:06] Allyson: The Madonna song is great.

[1:19:09] Claudia: It's a perfect song.

[1:19:10] Allyson: I love Hung Up.

[1:19:11] Claudia: It's so good. It's on all of my I have so many playlists that are like, either when I am sick of music, I'm trying to work out. I'm in a not even a partying space, but I'm in a like drinking place in my life.

[1:19:27] Allyson: Yeah.

[1:19:27] Claudia: And so it's like I need a playlist that's for like pre gaming, being energetic and being active and it's on every single one of those. Right now I'm doing none of those things.

[1:19:37] Allyson: So none of those.

[1:19:39] Claudia: I have this included in my the video that I made for my birthday again, birthday shout out again. The video that I made of it was all the 30 number one songs on my birthday throughout the years and Hung Up was like the number one song, I think, like in 2007.

[1:20:00] Allyson: Oh, wow.

[1:20:00] Claudia: But it was like a mega mix that I made where each song would like mash up into the next song. And I remember this one goes into smack that.

[1:20:09] Allyson: Of course, that's a good mashup.

[1:20:11] Claudia: Smack that.

[1:20:12] Allyson: That is nice.

[1:20:12] Claudia: Do you think that this version suffers the same fate as like a Mercedes cover where it's like, it's very great, but it's not different enough from the original?

[1:20:25] Allyson: And it's amazing. Like you did a great job, but it's fine. Like, I feel like we've had this conversation about like Mercedes covers and that's why unfortunately, we have not maybe I have not voted for them in the past because I'm like, oh, it's not it doesn't do anything different. My I was thinking that same thing in listening to it. But for me, I feel like the performance and just the existence of the song itself is so like, special as a Tina moment 100% that we have been waiting for for so long. And I feel like especially now in the day and age of being a Gleek with the like relationship that Jenna has to the show and to like, active fans now in 2026, that you're like, so happy for her when you finally see this number.

[1:21:10] Claudia: Absolutely.

[1:21:14] Allyson: And you get to see everything she can do. I don't I don't think of her as either like, one of the better or worst dancers. I just like don't even think about the fact that she would be able to pull this off. And she does it so well.

[1:21:24] Claudia: I don't have anything snarky to say.

[1:21:26] Allyson: I have one thing to say.

[1:21:27] Claudia: Okay.

[1:21:29] Allyson: The outfit should have been reversed.

[1:21:31] Claudia: It was not a gag.

[1:21:32] Allyson: Yes.

[1:21:33] Claudia: It was a gag.

[1:21:34] Allyson: They thought it was.

[1:21:35] Claudia: I agree with like...

[1:21:37] Allyson: You're talking about like...

[1:21:39] Claudia: You turned into the black leather.

[1:21:40] Allyson: Yeah.

[1:21:41] Claudia: Right.

[1:21:42] Allyson: Literally.

[1:21:42] Claudia: So underwhelming.

[1:21:44] Allyson: They should have started her off in that.

[1:21:45] Claudia: Oh, yeah.

[1:21:46] Allyson: Oh, you're talking about the outfit change.

[1:21:47] Claudia: The outfit change.

[1:21:49] Allyson: I agree. They should have get it should have been reversed. Why was she spray painting X's on random men?

[1:21:54] Claudia: And then he turns and there's nothing on him.

[1:21:57] Allyson: And then why was the cardboard? I thought the cardboard was gonna have like a sign on the back of it. I thought it was what they were breakdancing on. Like it's their breakdancing card.

[1:22:05] Claudia: That might be it.

[1:22:06] Allyson: That might be it. Heather doing the breakdancing was excellent. I think that Allison Dodgers said this in the past. She presented the idea that Dean is getting undressed and like everyone behind her. Like doing a Brockwood style kick change that nobody is familiar with.

[1:22:29] Claudia: And she's just like.

[1:22:30] Allyson: Uh, like just like kidding.

[1:22:35] Claudia: Well, my idea is like she's getting naked. But like, why would she need to get naked? She's also going from bodysuit to more layers, which makes no sense in terms of the timing. Like if she was wearing the jacket and the pants, she could just like rip them off.

[1:22:51] Allyson: That's why they should have swapped outfits.

[1:22:54] Claudia: They must have gotten the script pages mixed up. They had more like...

[1:22:57] Allyson: I totally agree. It's not the gag that they thought it was. And also they're making reference to the other outfit that Madonna wears in the music video, which is not like as much of a cultural touchstone as the pink leotard. So I'm like, yeah, just do another gag. She Madonna wears that leather jacket in the music video.

[1:23:19] Claudia: The leather.

[1:23:19] Allyson: Yeah. She's also wearing that in the music video.

[1:23:22] Claudia: Oh my God.

[1:23:22] Allyson: It's just one of those like hindsight. Like why would you not start her off in that outfit? Then if that was a reference to the goddamn music video.

[1:23:29] Claudia: No, I just, I don't think that you need to include the leather at all.

[1:23:32] Allyson: There doesn't need to be a change.

[1:23:34] Claudia: Right.

[1:23:34] Allyson: She could just be in the pink.

[1:23:37] Claudia: I for sure remember the pink and like...

[1:23:39] Allyson: Me too.

[1:23:40] Claudia: I'm looking at it right now, the Madonna version. And even if you just search Madonna hung up, it's only her in the pink.

[1:23:46] Allyson: Oh, and now I see the leather.

[1:23:48] Claudia: You see the leather? That's just an outfit I have in my closet.

[1:23:52] Allyson: Yeah.

[1:23:52] Claudia: There's nothing special to this. And do you think that like, I'm like, even it drives me crazy thinking about like the minds of the characters in this world. That they're all like, wow, Tina's making a reference to the other costume that Madonna wear. Like, bitches, you don't, right? Or you don't fucking know that?

[1:24:12] Allyson: What?

[1:24:12] Claudia: Oh yeah. And Madonna looks a lot better in this outfit. I hate, I hate to say that.

[1:24:16] Allyson: Wait, can you show me on the...

[1:24:18] Claudia: She looks, she's serving.

[1:24:20] Allyson: In the leather.

[1:24:22] Claudia: Yeah.

[1:24:22] Allyson: And also she's wearing jeans.

[1:24:25] Claudia: Yeah, she's wearing jeans and a leather jacket.

[1:24:27] Allyson: Was Tina wearing jeans?

[1:24:28] Claudia: She was wearing like black jeans or like some kind of...

[1:24:31] Allyson: So it's not accurate, unfortunately.

[1:24:32] Claudia: So what's the point?

[1:24:34] Allyson: What's it all for?

[1:24:35] Claudia: But I do agree with everything you said, Claudia, about like this being like, when you see her performing and you're like, dang, like she could have had it all. Like, this is what she could have had this whole time. And she's finally getting it.

[1:24:49] Allyson: But it's fine.

[1:24:50] Claudia: And I feel guilty. And I know people will have shit to say.

[1:24:55] Allyson: No, I think it's fine. I think that, unfortunately, this is the worst that Heather Morris has looked on the show.

[1:25:01] Claudia: She looks insane.

[1:25:03] Allyson: They all look insane.

[1:25:05] Claudia: This is the same font as the New York State of Mind, Empire State of Mind outfits, which I also hate. I think they're silly.

[1:25:11] Allyson: Yeah, these are silly.

[1:25:15] Claudia: And I also think they're funny.

[1:25:16] Allyson: I don't really. The capri leggings.

[1:25:18] Claudia: But I like it.

[1:25:19] Allyson: Oh, very 2012.

[1:25:20] Claudia: Kitty is the worst. She's wearing like a latex midi dress.

[1:25:24] Allyson: I just feel like wardrobe was on vacation this week and they got an intern from Disney Channel.

[1:25:30] Claudia: No, they're playing a prank.

[1:25:31] Allyson: It was a prank.

[1:25:33] Claudia: They got an intern from a boat.

[1:25:34] Allyson: These girls are a little bit annoying. I have to, I have to change this up.

[1:25:38] Claudia: They're like, hey, Becca, let's have this.

[1:25:40] Allyson: I have something exciting to show you.

[1:25:44] Claudia: Also.

[1:25:45] Allyson: I have something exciting.

[1:25:47] Claudia: I never noticed that all three of them were in the background dancer crew. Like it's not just Heather and it's not just Becca.

[1:25:53] Allyson: Alex is also up there in the stands.

[1:25:59] Claudia: Wait, I don't know if I've noticed.

[1:26:01] Allyson: Is Alex keeping up?

[1:26:03] Claudia: I didn't see them dancing, but I saw them like walk off when they all walked off.

[1:26:09] Allyson: Check the tapes.

[1:26:09] Claudia: But this is another case of like, if there's so many people that dance and perform like this, why are they not in the club? Which I think is so fun. I actually think it's hilarious that they're like, we just want to do it for one performance. And then we, that's like, we got our fix. And then only to make more appearances in later performances.

[1:26:27] Allyson: Just one off.

[1:26:27] Claudia: We're on contract.

[1:26:28] Allyson: We're not, you know.

[1:26:30] Claudia: We legally, as a student of this high school, you need to complete at least two performances.

[1:26:36] Allyson: One group number.

[1:26:39] Claudia: Per semester.

[1:26:39] Allyson: For the general public.

[1:26:41] Claudia: You can choose it be in the auditorium or the outside.

[1:26:44] Allyson: You choose.

[1:26:45] Claudia: It just has to be one.

[1:26:47] Allyson: So we can have 12 members.

[1:26:49] Claudia: Exactly.

[1:26:49] Allyson: Because we forgot about that until now.

[1:26:52] Claudia: Anything else about Hung Up?

[1:27:08] Allyson: Hung Up? I love her. I really do. I will not have her be slandered.

[1:27:14] Claudia: I'm talking to two women right now.

[1:27:16] Allyson: But I think that this is the most gay guy song of all time.

[1:27:22] Claudia: Really?

[1:27:23] Allyson: This?

[1:27:24] Claudia: I think it might be.

[1:27:25] Allyson: A glee one?

[1:27:25] Claudia: There's something about it in the DNA.

[1:27:27] Allyson: Not the Tina version.

[1:27:28] Claudia: Oh, the real one.

[1:27:29] Allyson: Got it, got it, got it.

[1:27:31] Claudia: Makes sense why it's important to me, I guess.

[1:27:33] Allyson: Makes sense as a gay guy.

[1:27:35] Claudia: Yeah.

[1:27:36] Allyson: What's that face, Allison?

[1:27:37] Claudia: Yeah, what's that face?

[1:27:38] Allyson: I don't know who I'm voting for.

[1:27:41] Claudia: Okay, I'll go first.

[1:27:42] Allyson: No, wait.

[1:27:43] Claudia: No, you can't do this to me.

[1:27:44] Allyson: You can't do this to me.

[1:27:47] Claudia: Oh, no.

[1:27:50] Allyson: Do you want me to go?

[1:27:50] Claudia: I feel like the Gleeks are going to vote on what guest not to invite back, and I'm at the top of that list.

[1:27:55] Allyson: No, I think this is a hard-

[1:27:59] Claudia: They start a vote. They're like, hey, let's do a vote on who shouldn't ever come back.

[1:28:03] Allyson: My vote, Allison, I'll vote.

[1:28:04] Claudia: No.

[1:28:09] Allyson: I feel like this is a hard competition, and I was feeling gaslit at the start of this conversation when we were hung up as kind of mid, because I really love it, and it's very important to me.

[1:28:18] Claudia: I don't think it's mid.

[1:28:21] Allyson: Okay, wait, wait, wait, wait, wait. God, no, Andrew.

[1:28:25] Claudia: You know what I'm doing.

[1:28:26] Allyson: I do know what you're doing.

[1:28:27] Claudia: You know what I'm doing.

[1:28:29] Allyson: I'm voting for WaddaWike.

[1:28:31] Claudia: WaddaWike.

[1:28:32] Allyson: I love WaddaWike.

[1:28:35] Claudia: And I think that hung up is a little bit mid.

[1:28:39] Allyson: No.

[1:28:41] Claudia: You were agreeing with that country guy.

[1:28:46] Allyson: What are you thinking, Mel?

[1:28:48] Claudia: We- what- okay. I don't know if I can let this sway my decision, although I feel like it should. What do we have for Tina in round four?

[1:28:55] Allyson: We have True Colors.

[1:28:57] Claudia: I think that's the only Tolo that we have left, which is fine.

[1:29:02] Allyson: But she has, like, representation in Don't Cause Her Over.

[1:29:06] Claudia: She has Shake It Out.

[1:29:07] Allyson: Okay.

[1:29:09] Claudia: WaddaWike is great.

[1:29:09] Allyson: It really is.

[1:29:11] Claudia: She has some hits.

[1:29:13] Allyson: Okay, because, like I said, I respect everything this did for Tina as a character, but I'm gonna vote for WaddaWike.

[1:29:24] Claudia: That's what I thought this was gonna be.

[1:29:26] Allyson: It's okay.

[1:29:27] Claudia: But I love you, Hung Up.

[1:29:30] Allyson: I love her. She deserves better.

[1:29:33] Claudia: Hung Up already left the call, so you don't-

[1:29:35] Allyson: No!

[1:29:36] Claudia: You don't have to cater to her.

[1:29:37] Allyson: Hung Up, Hung Up!

[1:29:39] Claudia: Oh no.

[1:29:43] Allyson: It just sounds so- like, I'll reach for WaddaWike. I'll stream WaddaWike, but like you said, I'm not streaming this version. And like you said with WaddaWike, that like everybody has a moment to do something so special with their voice.

[1:30:00] Andrew: And big picture, when we're looking for the best song on Glee, like, I like to think about like, what Glee did for that song. And "Wide Awake" is so different. And you're only going to find that in the Glee version. And then like I said before, "Hung Up" is kind of cookie cutter to its original. It just sucks that like, in Mercedes' case, we have more to work with and more options. And with Tina, not so much when it comes to her solos. But I mean, the "True Colors," that's different enough from the original that I hope it carries it far enough. And also, I like, prefer Jen Auschwitz's voice to Cyndi Lauper's.

[1:30:40] Allyson: Oh, yeah, 100%. I can only think of the "We Are The World" and Michael Jackson's side-eyeing her. I'm thinking of when she, oh, this was before Nicki was done. But when she did "Girls Just Want To Have Fun" with Nicki Minaj, and Nicki Minaj couldn't help but laugh.

[1:31:00] Claudia: I need to look that up.

[1:31:01] Allyson: This is news to me.

[1:31:01] Claudia: It's like recent. It's actually like, kind of like depressing because it's like, oh, she does not have her voice anymore.

[1:31:08] Allyson: That's so sad.

[1:31:08] Claudia: Yeah, yeah.

[1:31:10] Andrew: So okay, so in recap for this episode. Yeah, more like no.

[1:31:16] Allyson: Yeah, no.

[1:31:18] Claudia: Yeah, let's have a kiki. In round four, Turkey Lurkey time.

[1:31:23] Andrew: Turkey Lurkey time of my life. Wide awake. My eyes. My eyes see Oppenheimer. My eye.

[1:31:33] Allyson: Do you know what I'm referencing?

[1:31:35] Claudia: No, that's like the second time you've said it, though.

[1:31:38] Andrew: My eyes see Oppenheimer is, I think it's like Al Pacino when he is like, he does the best picture announcement of the Oscars two years ago. And I think he's like afraid to do it.

[1:31:44] Allyson: Afraid to like have like another like La La Land Moonlight mishap.

[1:31:56] Andrew: So he puts in the envelope and says, my eyes see Oppenheimer.

[1:32:03] Claudia: That's a good way to cover your bases because it's like, look, this is what I'm reading. Like, I don't know what it says, but that's what my eyes see.

[1:32:10] Allyson: I have no idea what's written.

[1:32:11] Andrew: The eyes to see say Oppenheimer.

[1:32:14] Claudia: Yes.

[1:32:17] Andrew: So my eyes see "Wide Awake" because they're wide awake to how great it is and "Hung Up." We're going to hang up on you.

[1:32:27] Andrew: Hello, it's Editing Andrew with more information about the round three finale, which is the next episode. Okay, so as you are aware, there are two songs left in the round that are going head to head in the finale, which are "Nutbush City Limits" and "One Less Bell To Answer" mashed up with "A House Is Not A Home." Now, we'd love to hear from you. We'd love to have you participate. So go watch those performances back. Decide yourself what would get your vote. And then send a voicemail to, a little gloicemail moment, to 347-719-1160. Again, that's 347-719-1160. Say your name, what you're voting for, and why. Or you can remain anonymous. I really don't care. And then your vote will be counted for whatever song you are voting for. If you could get those votes in by April 12th, Sunday, April 12th, that would be great. And your voice will be included in an episode. Hey, going to be really iconic. We'd love to have you. Thank you so much. Bye.

[1:33:37] Allyson: This was such a perfect episode. Thank you so much. I'm glad that we linked up for the first time ever. And it went really perfectly normal.

[1:33:50] Claudia: Yes. With no snags, bumps, anything.

[1:33:50] Allyson: No. I never had those personally. And we had so much fun.

[1:33:55] Claudia: Yes. It was a true honor to finally meet you, Allison. You're a legend.

[1:34:02] Allyson: Yes. I've heard only good things about you.

[1:34:02] Claudia: Yes. I love this. Wait. Wait. That's so cute. Allison, do you want to plug your social media to Claudia? And then Claudia will plug it back to Allison.

[1:34:08] Allyson: I would love to. You know, Allison Alamode on the Instagrams and the TikToks. Sometimes I'll randomly make Glee TikToks with whatever comes to mind. I just made one about Naya Rivera being in a music video before she was Naya Rivera of fame.

[1:34:26] Claudia: Yes. This is news to me.

[1:34:26] Allyson: Really? Yeah. Naya Rivera appeared in the B2K music video because I was a B2K girly. And then I went to the B2K concert and they played the music video with clips with Naya Rivera in it. So I was like, oh, I am always fed as a gleek. But yeah, Allison Alamode.

[1:34:45] Claudia: Hey, perfect. I'm still on Instagram at Claudia Gets Crafty. I'm trying to not be there anymore because it gives me headaches. And I have been working on my sub stack where I write about movies and other random stuff, music. And my username there is Millicent Bystander. I'm not gonna write it out.

[1:35:14] Allyson: Flushed away.

[1:35:19] Claudia: Flushed away. I believe he said his name was Millicent. Millicent Bystander. That's the reference. Thank you so much. This was really, really, I loved this episode so much. So I'm glad that we recorded it.

[1:35:26] Allyson: Oh my gosh, Claudia, you work fast. You just followed me.

[1:35:31] Claudia: I just did. I followed her. I've been off the internet.

[1:35:36] Allyson: Wait, can I also say, don't take this the wrong way. This episode was so hard to book with YouTube because Claudia, you weren't on Instagram. And then Allison, I don't have your number.

[1:35:50] Claudia: Just text me.

[1:35:50] Allyson: I can't believe you did. I obviously wouldn't be ignoring you because you texted me like, I assume you're not on Instagram. If I saw your message, I would have responded right away.

[1:36:06] Claudia: Why don't you just text me right away? We text all the time.

[1:36:12] Allyson: I have no empathy for this.

[1:36:12] Claudia: Yeah. Okay. All right. It was worth it. It was worth it. All right. We did it.

[1:36:18] Andrew: Okay. So the next episode, which I think there's a week break after this episode, and then we'll have the finale. So are you going to announce the songs? Are you going to leave the Glees to the Glees?

[1:36:28] Allyson: Oh my gosh, of course. And so the songs will be probably editing. Andrew will come in like right now to reveal what we're doing for the finale because recording Andrew doesn't know exactly. So the competition for the finale is "Nutbush City Limits" versus "One Less Bell to Answer," "A House is Not a Home," which is kind of nightmare.

[1:36:48] Claudia: Oh my chest.

[1:36:48] Allyson: For some people. For others, answer is clear.

[1:36:54] Andrew: What does that mean? What do you mean?

[1:36:58] Allyson: You want to know?

[1:36:59] Claudia: I do.

[1:37:00] Allyson: Yeah. Absolutely "Nutbush City Limits."

[1:37:02] Claudia: Absolutely. Sometimes my favorite song on the hit Fox show Glee, depending on the day.

[1:37:07] Allyson: I'm right now, before like deliberation, I'm leaning "One Less Bell to Answer," "A House is Not a Home."

[1:37:14] Claudia: Okay. I feel like that's where I'm leaning as well.

[1:37:16] Allyson: Damn.

[1:37:18] Claudia: No. Hell no.

[1:37:20] Allyson: Because I think that like, there's like, there's, I don't know, there's like the spectacle of "Nutbush City Limits" doesn't meet what it actually is sometimes for me. It's so good, of course. But I think that "One Less Bell to Answer," "A House is Not," like the vocals are so clean. It's almost like an unexpected hit for so early in the season as it is that you're like, wait a minute, this is good. I mean, and especially for this, a song that they already have performed in the same episode.

[1:37:50] Claudia: In the same episode. That's why I don't really like, it just doesn't mean that much to me because for those reasons. It's good, but it's like, oh.

[1:38:00] Allyson: Give it a chance. Give it a chance between now and the finale.

[1:38:02] Claudia: I don't dislike it, but "Nutbush" is like, come on. So many lesbians crawled out of the closet due to that performance.

[1:38:09] Allyson: Yeah, they did.

[1:38:13] Claudia: You don't get it. I'm on my hands and knees. I was in that closet and I was like this, let me out! Get me out of here! I hear "Nutbush"! Let me out of here!

[1:38:26] Allyson: It's like a moth to a flame. So that finale is gonna happen. We're gonna decide which of those two songs are moving forward. And that's gonna be awesome. Just like this episode was. Until then, okay bye!

[1:38:43] Andrew: It's Gleek, Gleek of the Week.
