Christopher Gurr is an actor, director, and teacher with experience in television, Broadway, national tours, and regional theatre. Born and raised in southwest Georgia and trained at Webster University, he spent four years performing in Monty Python’s Spamalot before making his Broadway debut in All The Way alongside Bryan Cranston. On Broadway, he has appeared in Amazing Grace, Kinky Boots, Tuck Everlasting, the Trevor Nunn–directed revival of Cats, and the 2023 Tony Award–winning revival of Parade.
On screen, Gurr has appeared in Madam Secretary, Soul Santa, The Gilded Age, The Good Fight, The Blacklist, and A Murder at the End of the World. In addition to his acting career, he regularly leads workshops and masterclasses, coaching students who now work across stage and screen.
